I think this is a wonderful vetinary clinic in Worcester. Because it is a small independent clinic it maintains a very personal and caring service towards the animals and their owners. They also provide their own emergency cover. As a licenced dog boarder on deciding which vet to register my business with this was a massive deciding point for me. This means that they will know you and they will know your dogs. On my visit everyone's true love, compassion, enthusiasm and dedication for animals was plain to see. And although you think this is a given for vets they grow into such big businesses these days that I find it has become very rare. Read Less

Ambleside Veterinary Clinic. For the past 15 years plus our adored pets, both past and present, have been treated with the uppermost care and professionalism that can only be seen as second to none. Three of our 'boys' have been rescued, which can't be easy when a Vet has no history for any ailments they may have had. Yet, not once have we felt let down by the advice and/or treatment received. They are very professional, caring and patient and they are always willing to help no matter what time of day it is and no matter how big or small your pets problems are. Our much loved dog has been with ian and the team at Ambleside Veterinary Clinic for 15 years, but 5 months ago he sadly passed away, my family and I cannot thank them enough for what they did for him over the last 15 years and especially what they did the day he passed away. I was very disappointed to hear from an acquaintance that you would not treat her seven month old cat who had suspected cat flu as she was unable to pay costs until Tuesday (only two days time ) and that you would not put in place any sort of pet payment policy. In an ideal world everyone would have pet insurance, agreed, and any business has to be able to pay it's way. However, not seeing this young cat could have potentially resulted in a fatality and prolonged suffering of the animal. Took my dog to this place because my own vet was closed for Christmas. They diagnosed he'd torn his cruciate ligament and needed surgery, gave me some pain killers and made a follow up appointment.My usual vet said they'd be happy to provide the surgery and follow ups, so I called Ambleside Veterinary Clinic back to cancel the appointment they'd made and the guy said "oh, so you just used us as an out of ours service? We only usually provide ooo service to our regular clients." - I will not use this practice again. Read Less

We have used Ambleside Vets for over 11 years. Sadly we have now lost all of our cats but the service we received during their lives was excellent. We were especially impressed with the treatment our last cat received during his illness and subsequent passing. The care and compassion was second to none.
