The doctors DO NOT listen to your concerns. They do things to your pet, without asking your permission, and you end up having to pay the bill when they didn't ask you if it was okay if they gave something. The doctor prescribed my baby a treatment that WAS THE EXACT OPPOSITE OF WHAT SHE NEEDED! Making it even more clear they did not listen to anything i was saying. They misdiagnosed and also completely ignored other major issues that needed fixing. They also push that horrible science diet food on you, so that they can get their percentage of money for sellung that brand. So if you feed holisticly, they will blame any and every health problem your pet is having on the food you are feeding..when it has better ingredients than the ones they are pushing. Just like the other poster said, go to Catisfaction if your want your cat treated right and to be healthy, and for the doctor's to listen to your concerns and actually correctly medicate. Or really, ANYWHERE is better than here.

While I was in town visiting family (I live in Memphis) my dog scratched her cornea. Town and Country was the only vet open on Saturday that I called. They immediately fit me in and took great care of my dog. Dr. Edgmon and the staff were very caring and helpful. I was at ease knowing my furbaby was getting great care. Dr. Edgmon asked me to come back two days later to recheck her eye. They were just as nice and accommodating when I went back. I would definitely recommend Dr. Edgmon and his wonderful Staff to anyone in the Athens AL area.

Best, most friendly vet in North Alabama. Some people say it is a bit pricey but what price can you put on your 4 legged family member's health? I have 4 dogs that I take there and when we turn the corner off of Hwy 72 they start going bonkers because they love it there. (I get the feeling they think of it like a Spa day)

We give it five stars. From the instant we walked in the staff was awesome very friendly. Got in a room very quickly. The veterinarian was wonderful answered any question we had was very friendly as well. The puppies were treated wonderful and loved on. Little pricey but well worth it. I highly recommend it to anyone.

Our dog had an emergency on a Saturday morning, and our regular vet was closed. I called Town and Country and they told me to bring her in. The facilities were very clean, the staff was very helpful, and the techs were knowledgeable and compassionate. Dr. Edgmon took a lot of time with us, and got our dog on a path for her to heal. She recovered quickly, and Dr. Edgmon called the next week to check on her. My husband and I were very impressed!

The hospital is up to date, state of the art and is maintained in a super clean manner. I've been taking my dogs and cats to them for almost 50 years and I have the utmost trust in their care of my family of pets.

He was already on flea medication and they tries to convince me he had fleas He didn't! I had to take in to Catsifaction in Madison and they saves his life. Please don't gamble with you pet's life. They are horrible people.

The doctors DO NOT listen to your concerns. They do things to your pet, without asking your permission, and you end up having to pay the bill when they didn't ask you if it was okay if they gave something. They immediately fit me in and took great care of my dog. Dr. Edgmon and the staff were very caring and helpful. I was at ease knowing my furbaby was getting great care. Dr. Edgmon asked me to come back two days later to recheck her eye. They were just as nice and accommodating when I went back. I would definitely recommend Dr. Edgmon and his wonderful Staff to anyone in the Athens AL area.

The veterinarian was wonderful answered any question we had was very friendly as well. The puppies were treated wonderful and loved on. Little pricey but well worth it.
