We like this clinic. Dr. Fuller is very kind and knowledgable. However, they charge a handling fee of $10.50 to all prescriptions. This is an outrageous amount! I can understand a couple dollars to cover their expenses, but certainly not $10.50. To make matters worse, they add the fee into the amount THEN they tax it, so really it's almost $11.50! Other vets don't charge this much and this fee can also be avoided entirely by purchasing medications online through reputable websites. I recommend the clinic, but I do not recommend getting prescriptions filled here. Read Less

This is a great clinic and practice. My 2 dogs have been going here for about 8 years. They are very busy but very efficient. And they have great pricing in comparison to others. I always feel like they have my pets best interest in mind. I have never boarded them, but many people do, and seem to be well pleased with it. Read Less

This is the worst and most chaotic establishment. The staff is rude and very uncaring. You have to wait greater than 15 minutes to pay for a service and collect your pet. I only went here for grooming, I will NEVER return and never use veterinary services here. Do not take your animals here!! Also very unclean and gross inside and out. I would give zero stars. I'm not sure I can overstate how excellent this place is. First and foremost, I have complete confidence in the love and care which is shown for my pets. Second, Hope goes a step further and makes the Vet visit a good experience for me as well. They have an incredible amount of customers which they have gone to great lengths to accommodate through a service window on the side of the building for certain services. If you prefer to speak with someone, you may always go inside. Every employee in the building is extremely helpful. When it comes to billing and care, they are understanding and probably the most fair business I have ever interacted with. All of this stems from the standards and attitude set by Dr. Fuller, who surely holds a gold standard in customer care for the pet and its owner. They really worked with me because I was out of town and I was told they were the only people who could help her and they did. She is now recooperating and even walking. I have used Hope for all of my animals' needs for about 15 years now. My whole family has. No matter which vet you see, you will be met with the most genuine, caring person. The vets' true love of animals shows in every one of them, and the care my animals have received over the span of their entire lives has been exceptional. This is the most HORRIBLE place ever! I took my dog for the very first time to this clinic and we were only there to get her blood drawn. The vet comes back telling me that my dogs knees were bad and would need surgery (which my dog cannot have surgery and she's never had a problem with her knees before). They stated that they shot an X-ray of her and when I spoke about how I was never even asked about an X-ray their response was that they would not be charging me for it because they wanted to see her throats area since I mentioned she had some breathing problems going on. They could not get blood from her and so we went back home. Once home I went to put her down on the ground and she yelped and fell over not being able to stand. I reached out to a vet friend of mine (who lives extremely far away) and I stated what had happened. He told me to come straight to him. After he did an X-ray of my dog he found that not only was my dogs knee caps out of place but her ACL was torn as well. He stated that she for sure was dropped by this vet and that the X-ray was more than likely of her knees and not her throats as they tried to state before. My dog was for sure dropped and all that I said to them was to state the truth and to cover the vet bills and the owner stated that he stood behind his vet if she said my dog was not dropped than he believes her. I paid out over $500 for everything and now my dog has had permanent problems walking or even standing in her certain way to use the bathroom because of these people. I would suggest to NEVER EVER go to this vet if you want truth and your animal to be treated well. You will just come out of there with even more problems. These people will lie to you to make an extra buck as well.Read Less

Dr Fuller and the whole crew were amazing. I brought a dog in that had been hit by a car and his situation was grim. Dr Fuller never gave up and truly believed he would get better. He went above and beyond what was expected and we were able to bring Trooper back to his forever home with us. I never thought I'd see this beautiful creature happy and playing in my living room. I could only see this badly injured puppy that I comforted on the side of the road but here he is, playing with my other fur baby like nothing ever happened. He'll probably always be a little wobbly but he is alive and well. Thank you Dr Fuller, and everyone else at Hope Animal clinic for getting him to where he is today. I said good-bye to my beloved Livvy two weeks ago. It has been a two year journey being diagnosed with degenerative myelopathy. Like the vets at Hope Animal Clinic. The grooming department is AWFUl!!!! Took my Gooden Doodle to be groomed months ago, they didn't pull the hair in his ears and he got an ear infection. So I ended up with a vet bill for the infection. They made a note in his file to always pull his ears..so I decided to take him about every 2. 1/2 weeks for their "neat and tidy" (bear in mind I still bathed him every week myself and brushed and Detangled him regularly in between.)Recently felt he needed a good grooming for Christmas. Took a picture of his dad and said this is how to groom him. She (the woman that has the grooming dept) then showed me a clipping chart. I told her that was too short so she said she would just use sizzors. She also said if she had problems she would call and also call when she was done. So, I thought we were clear. I called the clinic about 5 and was told he had been ready. When they brought him out I couldn't believe it!!! He was shaved. They were busy so I went ahead paid and left. I went back the next day and ask to speak to the groomer. When asking "why" she tells me he was matted. And that a dog matted is abusive!!!! Really me abuse my dog that's like a family member. Please!!!!I asked why she didn't call me before shaving him. She just got angry and said I could have a refund and walked off. I discussed with staff and found the grooming Dept is different from the veterinary dept. Nether the less my dog looks horrible, I had to buy him a sweater so he didn't freeze going to potty and from his mannerisms can tell he is embarrassed. So let's forget about Christmas pictures. Upon further looking at my dog the places shaved have terrible gaps and the places he wasn't shaved ie top of ears and tail was very apparent they were not even brushed!!!! They say a picture says a 1000 words. If there was a way to post in this review the picture I took for the groomer to have a visual of what was expected I would post that picture and also a picture of what I ended up with. Dr. Fuller and their staff are amazing. They stayed open late for us recently when we had a death in the family out of town. We called them 5 minutes before closing with our 3 pets that needed boarding during the busy holiday period. They have always been compassionate and understanding. I moved out of state in 2012. I miss Dr. Fuller and Hope animal clinic! Dr. Fuller took care of all of my dogs, including the "rescues". He and his staff are wonderful! Let me tell you about Max (nick named Lucky) a stray who showed up in my yard. I had only had him for a day when he was hit and ran over by a van that he was trying to herd. I rushed him to Dr. Fuller. He had two broken legs, front left and back right. The back right was also opened/raw from inside his ankle to Inside his upper thigh. Knowing that Max would have a lifetime of problems with gravel and road being imbedded in bone, Dr. fuller opted to amputate. Here Max is 7-8 yrs later doing wonderful! Read Less

Good place to board BUT.... I will say Always get a second opinion before having surgery! My two year old dog had a hurt leg and Dr Fuller examined him and said IT WAS A TORN A.C.L. He said he had to have surgery and that he sees this all the time. They had him down for surgery the following week. I had a nagging feeling about all this and decided to take him to a specialist off Action Rd before the surgery to get a second opinion and the vet found NO TORN A.C.L.!! Just a sore leg to give him a few days and he should be fine. Well that's all it was!!.....his sore leg was fine in a week and has never had any issues since and my baby is now 9 years old! ..........Also at a later time my dog had a tumor that needed removed and surgery was Scheduled. My dog could not eat or drink anything after midnight and was to be there early to have his surgery and that we could pick him up in the afternoon. I dropped him off early and called to check on him around 4 o clock that evening and WAS SHOCKED THAT HE HAD NOT HAD SURGERY YET BECAUSE THEY HAPPENED TO BE BUSY WITH OTHER EMERGENCIES THAT DAY!! THIS WAS A SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT And I WAS TOLD HE WOULD STILL HAVE SURGERY BUT IT WAS GOING TO BE LATER THAT EVENING AFTER A VERY BUSY DAY.....I DON'T THINK SO!! NOT TO MENTIONED MY BABY HADN'T ATE OR DRINK SINCE MIDNIGHT AND HAS SIT THERE AT THE VET ALL DAY!! I TOLD THEM FORGET THE SURGERY AND I IMMEDIATELY WENT AND PICKED MY BABY UP!! THEY APOLOGIZED BUT THERE'S NO EXCUSE FOR THIS SORRY..... Read Less

I won't be back. Veterinarians are nice, but when there are issues the staff don't seem to care about the paying customer. "Oh well all we can say is sorry" while rushing me off the phone doesn't cut it. Not once did the owner or someone reach out with a sincere apology. We adopted our dog from the GBHS and Hope was on the list for an adoption vet. She has always received great care at Hope. She now has arthritis in her back and we take her to Hope once a week for a laser treatment. They only charge $12.50. Almost 2 months ago we lost the best dog we have ever had, George. Our story began when George became ill with an autoimmune disease when he was 8 years old. But, thanks to Dr. Fuller, Dr LeBlanc and all of the great staff at Hope we had 4 additional years that we didn't think we would get with our sweet boy. The good people at Hope have been there with us through every sickness, surgery, and emergency. Several times on this journey we thought George might not pull through but, the staff at Hope never gave up on him. They knew how much we loved George and I believe they came to love him too!! Over the past year George's body obviously was breaking down more and more, he took more medicine than we did and treatments weren't as effective. However, inside his broken body was still our George who loved cuddles, belly/hip/ear rubs, kisses, barking at the FedEx trucks and laying in the kitchen watching me cook spaghetti (yes, he did get a plate, it was his favorite!). George turned 12 on July 13th and the next day he became very sick. My husband and son rushed him to Hope and it became evident that this time he wouldn't be coming back home with us as he had so many times before. Dr. LeBlanc and his staff were there and took care of him until the end. Words can't express how much we appreciate everything that they did for our George over the years. George was sick but, he lived a great life and we wouldn't have trusted his care to anyone else. We could never replace George but, when the time is right we will open our hearts to another pup that needs us just as much as we need him/her. So, Hope Animal Clinic....we will be back!!Read Less

We use Hope for boarding only. We had a vet we really liked before we found Hope. The vet services are walk in only. This could be good for some but I have a job and need an appointment time. As far as the boarding goes we couldn't be happier. We have a 100lbs Alaskan Malamute that loves to play during daycare and he gets to use the pool. The grooming is lacking. When we get our dog back he is clean he just doesn't smell as great or feel and look as clean as Petco grooming for instance. Read Less

I want to love this vet but I'm just not there yet. The good news is, you don't need an appointment, just show up! The bad news is, you can't get an appointment so you may have to wait a long time. This is okay for people who don't have to be anywhere during the day but if you do, it can be a hassle. But this is a good way to get emergency services without the emergency. They offer a full range of services to daycare, boarding, breeding, grooming, etc. I am told there is a pool for dogs that stay there in the summer. The grooming services we received have been decent just not as good as our old groomer plus you have to drop your dog off before 9 and leave him there till 4 so this can be stressful on your dog. The veterinary care I have received has been good and they have taken good care of our dogs but I just don't get the warm fuzzy feeling I did at my old vet. My old vet was always so sweet with my dog. I assume they are busy and overworked due to the no appointment rule but the two vets I have met with have not been very friendly, just all business. On a recent visit I had to put my dog up on the table by myself and he is pretty heavy. No offer of assistance. If your animal doesn't need a vet, you won't meet with anyone, they just take them in the back and give them shots or whatever they need to do and send them back out. Overall, I think this is a quality animal clinic and a good option especially if you live in the area. Full service, decent prices, no appointment necessary. Read Less
