Left my cat and dog here for boarding and when I picked up my animals my cat had 8 mats all over her. I waited to talk to Dr Hicks, drs didnt care when I showed my cat to them and said that they werent perfect. It was horrible and true neglect for my animals. It was also odd about my dog, the women that brought him out from the back acted odd about my dog, that is a rescue and they are aware of this, not wanting to play with other dogs and had an attitude when one of them said, "yea your dog doesnt want to socialize with anyone", extremely inappropriate and not the loving care I wanted for either of my animals while they were boarded. I will never take my animals back to this vet clinic. After the main drs, Britts, retired the place went down hill and the new vets, Dr H and the manager Daphine dont care about the animals. No one cared at all about my animals when Ive left numerous messages to be called back and the company the vet clinic is now under Southern Vet Partners just never has called back and Ive left 6 messages.

We are part of a rescue group here in Birmingham, and they use Britt as their vet for some of the pets in the group. After taking one of our foster pups to Britt, specifically Dr. Josh Morgan, and having a fantastic experience we began bringing our own pets to Britt. That was 5 years ago. We live in Hoover, near Bluff Park, and drive the distance to see Dr. Josh and his staff because of their above par treatment of not only our furbabies, but us as well. The staff there, are always friendly with a smile on their face, ready to help in anyway possible. And while my girls aren't super keen on visiting the vet, Dr. Josh does an excellent job on keeping them as minimally "traumatized" as possible. I would recommend Britt Animal Hospital to anyone looking for a caring, genuine, animal-loving doctor and staff.

I first saw Dr. Randy Britt in the early 70's when he was fresh out of vet school at Auburn. He was in a little house in Cahaba Heights with only a receptionist and himself. He saw Zeke who was our first full blooded German Shepherd. He was a rescue at eight months. My husband brought him home because he had fallen in love with shepherds and could not resist this sweet dog. I loved Dr. Britt from the beginning and vowed never to take my dogs to anyone else. That proved to be the best decision we ever made when our 6th shepherd, Delilah ate poisoned mushrooms and would have died if it had not been for Dr. Randy. He went through two surgeries with her and dedicated himself so completely to her that he even stayed at the clinic with her at night.She recovered because of him. He has always gone out of his way to provide whatever help my dogs have needed.My current shepherd, Maccabee gets excited when I say we are going to see Dr. Randy. What more can I say? My childhood dog, Peanuts Streetman was one of Dr Randy's very first patients when he opened this practice! There are not enough words of Love and Praise existing to accurately describe this pet hospital. I was 9 years old then and now I am 44. I have and will always adore Dr Randy!!!! We recently lost one of our dogs due to negligence or inattention at another animal clinic here in town. I immediately switched to Britt Animal Hospital and have been blown away by the attention, care, professionalism, etc. I knew I had found the right Vet when a few days after our first visit, the actual doctor that had seen our dog Sadie called me on my cellphone just to check and see how she was doing. Something so simple and kind that lasted 90 seconds, I never once got in 5 years at Oxmoor Animal Clinic. Thank you for caring for our dogs, they are family.

I recently moved to Birmingham and was looking for a great vet for my 3 month old puppy. I found him on the side of the road and was very lucky that he has not shown any medical problems (He had been immunized at a vet in Tuscaloosa appropriately from when I found him at 5 weeks old). I was referred to Britt Animal Hospital by a friend and felt my pup would be very well taken care of - and he definitely was! Although the bill was significantly more expensive than the previous 2 visits to the vet, I felt that the doctor really cared about my puppy's well-being and health and these extra tests may have just been because I was a new client.Overall, a great facility! My puppy was treated with respect and love and the entire staff was very nice and welcoming.

We lost our little buddy, Peanut, yesterday in spite of the unbelievable care he received from Dr. Josh, Mary Alice, and others at Britt Animal Hospital. Dr. Josh's technical skill, compassion, and empathy were world class. I have been in healthcare over 40 years and have not seen a better provider (vet or medical doctor). He extended us every courtesy and accommodation to help us through this difficult time. This post doesn't do justice to their care, but I wanted to at least say thank you! Dr. Josh's explanations to us of numerous issues and the amount of time he spent answering our questions in a complex medical case was really beyond words. More than anything, we are so grateful that we got to say goodbye to Peanut, thanks to Dr. Josh and his team!

I have way too many great things to say about Britt Animal Hospital and the staff. I began using Dr. Randy Britt in 2005 when I adopted my greyhound, Cabana. Then we added Diesel, Tabby, Ozzy, Eli and then Tanner and they all get the best of care from Dr. Randy and Dr. Josh Morgan (who are the 2 vets I mainly see). Dr. Rob Britt has of course been there when I needed him too. One thing I really love is that the staff is EXCEPTIONAL and most of them have been there for years so it feels like family to me. The front desk is always knowledgeable and communicates with the veterinarians and vet techs great. Always a pleasant experience and MY DOGS LOVE BRITT!!

I have used Britt Animal Hospital since I moved to Birmingham 19 years ago and I have always been very pleased with the care, compassion and professionalism of the staff. My pets have used several of the vets there (from Dr. Britt to Dr. Morgan) and everyone has been outstanding. Unfortunately, I have had to have 2 of my pets put to sleep over the years and the staff there was wonderful as I went through those very emotional situations. If you use Britt Animal Hospital, you will receive excellent care for your pets and professional and friendly service for yourself! I drive out of my way to go there.

I give Britt Animal Hospital five stars because Dr. Josh and Dr. Katie have been phenomenal. Dr. Josh has taught us a tremendous amount about our puppy; and, Dr. Katie has been great with helping us keep our 4 yr old cat with FIV healthy. The vet assistants are also friendly and helpful! It will be hard to find another vet if we move that will meet the high standards Britt has set.

I chose 5 Stars only because there was not 6 stars.When it comes time that you need a vet for your pet Britt Animal hospital and specifically Dr Josh is one of the finest vets it has been my pleasure to know.We have had dogs for 3 decades and had a wide range of vets care for them,Sadly Dr Josh had to assist with an end of life issue with a pet and he was helpful, compassionate and understanding. My family just moved to Hoover a few months ago and I was very wary about finding a Vet as good as from our hometown. I was referred by a friend and I will always be grateful for it.The few times we went to see Dr Josh he was welcoming to not only myself but also to my dogs. Every exam was thorough and gentle and he was sure to explain everthing I needed to know. Dr Josh followed up with a phone call the next day to check on my pet. Whos does that now a days??? Dr Josh does!I would highly recommend Dr Josh to everyone!

The Veterinarians at Britt are the highest quality most knowledgeable and caring Vets I have dealt with (and I work with Veterinarians around the state including the Vet Schools at Auburn and Tuskegee), but the support staff are who make Britt the greatest place to take your animals. Everyone at Britt is friendly, accommodating, and truly cares about the animals, treating them as if they were their own pets. I know that when my dogs are at Britt they are happy, healthy, and safe but most of all loved. The doggie day care must be tons of fun because when the dogs get back home they are even too tired to be bad! Every service provided from boarding, daycare, bathing, and treatments has been above and beyond the average clinic. They really are the only place I would trust that my animals are getting the very best attention to their needs.

I highly recommend Britt Animal Hospital to any one with any furry friend. I've taken two of my pet rats there and they always treat my animals with the utmost respect. They put my two girls to sleep many months apart and each time treated the girls with kindness, care and dignity. Dr. Josh is a great doctor and the staff is wonderful.

I literally cannot say enough good things about Britt. I take my cats and my dog there for everything from emergency situations to little allergy flair ups, and the staff and doctors could not be more patient or kind. They answer any and all questions without making me feel silly or stupid, and they are so nice to my fur babies. They're the best vet I've ever been to!

We recently lost one of our dogs due to negligence or inattention at another animal clinic here in town. I immediately switched to Britt Animal Hospital and have been blown away by the attention, care, professionalism, etc. I knew I had found the right Vet when a few days after our first visit, the actual doctor that had seen our dog Sadie called me on my cellphone just to check and see how she was doing. Something so simple and kind that lasted 90 seconds, I never once got in 5 years at Oxmoor Animal Clinic. Thank you for caring for our dogs, they are family.

I recently moved to Birmingham and was looking for a great vet for my 3 month old puppy. I found him on the side of the road and was very lucky that he has not shown any medical problems (He had been immunized at a vet in Tuscaloosa appropriately from when I found him at 5 weeks old). I was referred to Britt Animal Hospital by a friend and felt my pup would be very well taken care of - and he definitely was! Although the bill was significantly more expensive than the previous 2 visits to the vet, I felt that the doctor really cared about my puppy's well-being and health and these extra tests may have just been because I was a new client.Overall, a great facility! My puppy was treated with respect and love and the entire staff was very nice and welcoming.

We lost our little buddy, Peanut, yesterday in spite of the unbelievable care he received from Dr. Josh, Mary Alice, and others at Britt Animal Hospital. Dr. Josh's technical skill, compassion, and empathy were world class. I have been in healthcare over 40 years and have not seen a better provider (vet or medical doctor). He extended us every courtesy and accommodation to help us through this difficult time. This post doesn't do justice to their care, but I wanted to at least say thank you! Dr. Josh's explanations to us of numerous issues and the amount of time he spent answering our questions in a complex medical case was really beyond words. More than anything, we are so grateful that we got to say goodbye to Peanut, thanks to Dr. Josh and his team!

I have way too many great things to say about Britt Animal Hospital and the staff. I began using Dr. Randy Britt in 2005 when I adopted my greyhound, Cabana. Then we added Diesel, Tabby, Ozzy, Eli and then Tanner and they all get the best of care from Dr. Randy and Dr. Josh Morgan (who are the 2 vets I mainly see). Dr. Rob Britt has of course been there when I needed him too. One thing I really love is that the staff is EXCEPTIONAL and most of them have been there for years so it feels like family to me. The front desk is always knowledgeable and communicates with the veterinarians and vet techs great. Always a pleasant experience and MY DOGS LOVE BRITT!!

I have used Britt Animal Hospital since I moved to Birmingham 19 years ago and I have always been very pleased with the care, compassion and professionalism of the staff. My pets have used several of the vets there (from Dr. Britt to Dr. Morgan) and everyone has been outstanding. Unfortunately, I have had to have 2 of my pets put to sleep over the years and the staff there was wonderful as I went through those very emotional situations. If you use Britt Animal Hospital, you will receive excellent care for your pets and professional and friendly service for yourself! I drive out of my way to go there.

I give Britt Animal Hospital five stars because Dr. Josh and Dr. Katie have been phenomenal. Dr. Josh has taught us a tremendous amount about our puppy; and, Dr. Katie has been great with helping us keep our 4 yr old cat with FIV healthy. The vet assistants are also friendly and helpful! It will be hard to find another vet if we move that will meet the high standards Britt has set.

I chose 5 Stars only because there was not 6 stars.When it comes time that you need a vet for your pet Britt Animal hospital and specifically Dr Josh is one of the finest vets it has been my pleasure to know.We have had dogs for 3 decades and had a wide range of vets care for them,Sadly Dr Josh had to assist with an end of life issue with a pet and he was helpful, compassionate and understanding. We are very lucky to have found him and we are happy to have him available for our pets care.

My family just moved to Hoover a few months ago and I was very wary about finding a Vet as good as from our hometown. I was referred by a friend and I will always be grateful for it.The few times we went to see Dr Josh he was welcoming to not only myself but also to my dogs. Every exam was thorough and gentle and he was sure to explain everthing I needed to know. Dr Josh followed up with a phone call the next day to check on my pet. Whos does that now a days??? Dr Josh does!I would highly recommend Dr Josh to everyone!

The Britt clinic is the best animal clinic in Birmingham in my opinion. Everyone truly cares about my animals and Dr. Rob is very knowledgeable and never seems in a hurry when we need to visit. All the Vets are just wonderful and they even call after treatment to check up on my pets. I wouldn't take my pets anywhere else.

The Veterinarians at Britt are the highest quality most knowledgeable and caring Vets I have dealt with (and I work with Veterinarians around the state including the Vet Schools at Auburn and Tuskegee), but the support staff are who make Britt the greatest place to take your animals. Everyone at Britt is friendly, accommodating, and truly cares about the animals, treating them as if they were their own pets. I know that when my dogs are at Britt they are happy, healthy, and safe but most of all loved. The doggie day care must be tons of fun because when the dogs get back home they are even too tired to be bad! Every service provided from boarding, daycare, bathing, and treatments has been above and beyond the average clinic. They really are the only place I would trust that my animals are getting the very best attention to their needs.

I highly recommend Britt Animal Hospital to any one with any furry friend. I've taken two of my pet rats there and they always treat my animals with the utmost respect. They put my two girls to sleep many months apart and each time treated the girls with kindness, care and dignity. Dr. Josh is a great doctor and the staff is wonderful.
