THESE PEOPLE ONLY CARE ABOUT MONEY, NOT YOUR ANIMAL!!!
DO NOT GO HERE NO MATTER WHAT!!!
HORRIBLE PEOPLE WORK HERE!!
THEY WILL SEND YOUR PET OUT IN WORSE CONDITION THAN THEY CAME IN!!!
THEY WITHHOLD MEDICAL RECORDS FROM THEIR CLIENTS!!!
These people do not care about animals whatsoever. I went in with an emergency and they tried to turn down my dog, who could have died, because I didn't have a credit card. When I called family to pay with a credit card, they told me they didn't accept payment over the phone. I was appalled by their lack of concern for my injured animal.
I wound up convincing them to take a credit card over the phone, the bill was outrageous. They did x-rays and blood work (cbc and chemistry) on my dog, administered a pain injection, inserted a catheter in her arm all wrapped up, and sent her home with an antibiotic prescription. I was scheduled for a follow up appointment for several days later.
During the time between visits, I noticed her paw at the end of her arm where they placed the catheter had blown up and was huge and swollen. She couldn't put any pressure on it and it gave her extreme amounts of pain.
I mentioned this to the doctor when we went for the follow-up exam, and he just nodded and agreed that they wrapped her arm too tight. He didn't apologize for giving my dog added discomfort or offer any type of discount. He shot her up with some pain meds, when I asked him what chemicals he was injecting into my dog he said, "boy, you're nosy."
At the end of the exam, I asked the doctor for a copy of my dog's medical records, i.e. a copy of her bloodwork, a photocopy of the x-rays, and a description of what treatment they gave her. The doctor told me that he could not give me copies of my dog's records because they were private. I mentioned that I payed him close to $400, and that I needed those copies for my records that I keep of anything that happens to my dog. He said, word for word, "that's right, and you should have payed double!"
When I asked him to elaborate on why I was not allowed to have copies of my dog's medical records, he told the receptionist not to schedule any more appointments for my dog. The receptionist told me that just like human medical records, canine medical records are private. I guess they needed my dog herself to ask for them.
I will spread the word that these people are cruel and only concerned about money until they have no clients left. This doctor is a mean-spirited, money-grubbing man. He does not care about the well-being of the animals he treats and does not care about the owners of the animals he treats.
Do yourself a favor and never bring a living creature through the doors at this establishment. People like this doctor should never be allowed to stay in practice.Read Less
