I would highly recommend calera animal hospital. I took both of my dogs today for there first visits and saw Dr. Neal. Dr. Neal was very thorough, and spent a lot of time with both pups.

My family and I moved to Calera around 8 months ago and needed to find a veterinarian that was in the area. We found Calera Animal Hospital after doing an internet search and decided to take our little guy in for his shots and a check up. The facility is clean, and the staff are very helpful and friendly. Everyone just made our visit very pleasant and relaxing.

Wow. Calera Animal Hospital took a horrible situation (On my first visit, I had to have my precious 17-year old cat put to sleep) and treated me with such compassion and understanding that I have decided to start taking all my furry friends to the hospital from now on. The staff is friendly, helpful, and professional. The facility is clean, well maintained, and easy to access.. Dr Ellison was fantastic during my visit and comforted me (a basket case for sure!) while providing me all the information I needed to make the right decision for my sweet Missy. I am now a huge fan of Calera Animal Hospital and unconditionally recommend the hospital to anyone who desires high quality, compassionate care for their animals.

This clinic focuses on farm animals, but when I was in graduate school, Calera Animal Hospital made house calls for my cats. I had four at the time. I wish I could find another vet to make house calls in Trussville, as we have six cats now. Dr. Ellison was very good with Vesper. She had Vesper admitted to Auburn University's animal hospital without a wait. Vesper was treated by Auburn's experts with the radioactive iodine treatement, a solution for hyperthyroidism in cats. My Vesper lived another five years after her treatment. Calera Animal Hospital has a lot of business - it is very busy. I personally think it's because they are the best clinic in that county. The wait can be long, but it's a much cleaner option than two of the other clinics I've seen in that area.

Calera Animal Hospital took a horrible situation (On my first visit, I had to have my precious 17-year old cat put to sleep) and treated me with such compassion and understanding that I have decided to start taking all my furry friends to the hospital from now on. The staff is friendly, helpful, and professional. The facility is clean, well maintained, and easy to access.. Dr Ellison was fantastic during my visit and comforted me (a basket case for sure!) while providing me all the information I needed to make the right decision for my sweet Missy.
