There must be 10 different vet clinics closer to me but I will gladly make the drive to Montevallo Animal Clinic. The vets and staff are amazing. They have always been able to solve problems with my pets when other vets were left scratching their heads. I also love that I don't need an appointment. I would recommend MAC to anybody that loves their pet.

I always live taking my animals here. They get great care. I have a dog that is very unappreciative of strangers and gates the vet. He is his and hard to deal with. They do a wonderful job!!

Very friendly, fast and efficient. Nothing but impressed with how well this clinic took care of our big baby pup. Prices are very much reasonable. We were actually surprised at how low the prices were for what our doggy needed. The staff was very informative, answered all our questions and made us feel important the whole time. When we left we actually forgot to ask them about trifexis and they thankfully mailed it to us so we didn't have to make the drive. I'm so happy that we found this place. This will definitely be my go to vet clinic.
Also, there was a gentleman that went above and beyond to help us and I didn't get a chance to personally express my gratitude. It's employees like him that keep a good business like this going. Keep up the great work!
Doesn't look like much when you get to it but they will definitely surprise you with the excellent service.

I moved here from out state so finding a good vet for my dachshunds was important to me. A few months after moving my older dachshund Abby was having trouble so I took her to MAC she had congestive heart after a couple of months of trying different treatments that didn't help I had to let her go the staff there was so considerate and caring about a week after putting her down I got a condolences card signed by all the staff. All my fur babies go there now and they are great with them they are currently working with me so my 13yr old can have surgery to remove a cyst on her neck. Thank you to all the staff for everything you do and the care you provide to my babies.

This is not a fancy outfit...in fact, very modest, however, it is very clean and does not smell like animal urine. I was impressed by that alone. My first visit there, I was very nervous because my beloved English Setter was having surgery on his knee/leg. My fears were soon diminished when Dr Parker came in the exam room...he was very professional, knowledgeable and nice. He explained in detail (with understandable words!) the surgery and what to expect. I was so impressed with his attention and follow up visits! I will never go to any other doctor for my fur babies!! The staff is excellent and love these animals. I would recommend this clinic to everyone!

I absolutely love this clinic. We are new to the area and are VERY grateful that they are located about 20 mins from our home. Unfortunately we have had several emergencies and sick dogs that were treated by the vets there. I have always been treated very professionally and the care for my animals top notch! Everyone at the Montevallo Animal Clinic has been amazing taking care of our really sick puppy. Dr. Bamberg was very thorough to make sure he found out what was wrong, but he made sure I was willing to go through with each test and procedure first. If it hadn't been for him and the vet techs taking such good care of our puppy he wouldn't have made it. All of them were very kind and kept us very informed during his whole week long stay. We can't thank you guys enough for taking such good care of Cowboy!!

My dog needed knee surgery for luxating patella. We shopped around for the right vet to handle this for us & after many recommendations we set an appointment. I am very pleased with how well my dog was treated through the whole process. I appreciate that she recovered from surgery with no complications. A year later & I would highly recommend this veterinary practice for anyone being caught off guard by an expensive pet situation that (:x *certain other practice's) insurance won't cover. The biggest negative: super small & old facility, very long wait even for scheduled appointments (even more annoying if it is a minor thing like, checking stitches).

On three occasions, our sweet dogs have spent their final moments with Dr. Bamberg and Dr. Parker and their staff. They took excellent care of our dogs during the best of times and at the worst of times, treating our dogs (and us) with compassion, sensitivity, and professionalism. Today, Dr. Parker stayed past closing hours so we could all be together as our sweet lab Maggie took her final breaths. I'd like to add something eight months later: our 13-year-old lab Grace had a few bad days, so we decided to visit the clinic just to get and evaluation regarding her quality of life. Dr. Parker was sensitive, informative, and realistic. He also offered two meds to improve her quality of life. It helped Grace immediately, but Dr. Parker also helped us see the future in realistic terms. This morning, after a fun, lively week, Grace could not move and let us know, in no uncertain terms, that she was ready to move on. Dr. Parker and his staff were sensitive and compassionate as they helped Grace pass peacefully to the other side.

I recently had to take a sick puppy of ours here. The receptionist was friendly, we were a walk in but we didn't have to wait too long. The vet was great though I can't recall her name. She was very informative and went into great detail on how to medicate our other sick pups at home. If need be, this will be our go to clinic.

Filthy. This was the dirtiest clinic I've ever seen. Plus, there's a weird waiting system - first show up, first served. I don't think it's official though, as I did have an appointment. I arrived to discover that three angry, old women hadn't called for an appointment. They cussed out the receptionist. And their bad behavior was rewarded. All three harpies were placed ahead of me even though I had made an appointment and arrived promptly. Note: these women were walk-ins. When I did arrive, the rather unfortunate-looking women were very rude. The receptionist told me afterward that they'd cussed her and demanded to go first. This explained why not one of these harpies would move an ample butt check for me to sit down with the litter of kittens I'd rescued from the side of the road. It's been years since my experience with this clinic. Just goes to show that bad behavior is always remembered. Customers should not be allowed to treat other customers and staff in such a manner. Standards in behavior and cleanliness need to be addressed.

After several unpleasant experiences, we discovered Montevallo Animal Clinic. I have found them to be extremely reasonable in their charge for services, very kind and caring with my pets, and to be very knowledgable concerning care and treatment of same. The ladies in the office go out of their way to help clients and to get them through as quickly as possible. There are so very many patients that the office is full when I go but it is worth the wait. We drive from Sylacauga to see one of the vets there and have a friend who is not able to sit or stand for long periods who takes his little dog there. Someone comes out to his car when it is his turn to give his little dog a shot. How many people are this caring in today's world?

Very friendly, fast and efficient. Nothing but impressed with how well this clinic took care of our big baby pup. Prices are very much reasonable. We were actually surprised at how low the prices were for what our doggy needed. The staff was very informative, answered all our questions and made us feel important the whole time. Everyone at the Montevallo Animal Clinic has been amazing taking care of our really sick puppy. Dr. Bamberg was very thorough to make sure he found out what was wrong, but he made sure I was willing to go through with each test and procedure first. If it hadn't been for him and the vet techs taking such good care of our puppy he wouldn't have made it. All of them were very kind and kept us very informed during his whole week long stay. We can't thank you guys enough for taking such good care of Cowboy!!

My dog needed knee surgery for luxating patella. We shopped around for the right vet to handle this for us & after many recommendations we set an appointment. I am very pleased with how well my dog was treated through the whole process. I appreciate that she recovered from surgery with no complications. A year later & I would highly recommend this veterinary practice for anyone being caught off guard by an expensive pet situation that (:x *certain other practice's) insurance won't cover. The biggest negative: super small & old facility, very long wait even for scheduled appointments (even more annoying if it is a minor thing like, checking stitches).

On three occasions, our sweet dogs have spent their final moments with Dr. Bamberg and Dr. Parker and their staff. They took excellent care of our dogs during the best of times and at the worst of times, treating our dogs (and us) with compassion, sensitivity, and professionalism. Today, Dr. Parker stayed past closing hours so we could all be together as our sweet lab Maggie took her final breaths. I'd like to add something eight months later: our 13-year-old lab Grace had a few bad days, so we decided to visit the clinic just to get and evaluation regarding her quality of life. Dr. Parker was sensitive, informative, and realistic. He also offered two meds to improve her quality of life. It helped Grace immediately, but Dr. Parker also helped us see the future in realistic terms. This morning, after a fun, lively week, Grace could not move and let us know, in no uncertain terms, that she was ready to move on. Dr. Parker and his staff were sensitive and compassionate as they helped Grace pass peacefully to the other side.

I recently had to take a sick puppy of ours here. The receptionist was friendly, we were a walk in but we didn't have to wait too long. The vet was great though I can't recall her name. She was very informative and went into great detail on how to medicate our other sick pups at home. If need be, this will be our go to clinic.

Filthy. This was the dirtiest clinic I've ever seen. Plus, there's a weird waiting system - first show up, first served. I don't think it's official though, as I did have an appointment. I arrived to discover that three angry, old women hadn't called for an appointment. They cussed out the receptionist. And their bad behavior was rewarded. All three harpies were placed ahead of me even though I had made an appointment and arrived promptly. Note: these women were walk-ins. When I did arrive, the rather unfortunate-looking women were very rude. The receptionist told me afterward that they'd cussed her and demanded to go first. This explained why not one of these harpies would move an ample butt check for me to sit down with the litter of kittens I'd rescued from the side of the road. It's been years since my experience with this clinic. Just goes to show that bad behavior is always remembered. Customers should not be allowed to treat other customers and staff in such a manner. Standards in behavior and cleanliness need to be addressed.

After several unpleasant experiences, we discovered Montevallo Animal Clinic. I have found them to be extremely reasonable in their charge for services, very kind and caring with my pets, and to be very knowledgable concerning care and treatment of same. The ladies in the office go out of their way to help clients and to get them through as quickly as possible. There are so very many patients that the office is full when I go but it is worth the wait. We drive from Sylacauga to see one of the vets there and have a friend who is not able to sit or stand for long periods who takes his little dog there. Someone comes out to his car when it is his turn to give his little dog a shot. How many people are this caring in today's world?

Dr.Day is AWeSOME! he has been my vet for 18 years and i love him. he took in a kitten of my son and daughter-in-laws and gave her a good home. THANK you so much for everything Dr.Day.
