I can't say enough about these people. They have taken care of my dogs since 1999. Couldn't ask for a more caring and loving group of people to trust my "best friends" with. They have been right there for us during our breeding process with Auggie and Ozzie. We have 6 little puppies because everyone in the office was involved, interested and cared about us.

Dr. Thornburg and his staff are amazing, I took my dog there last Friday thinking she wouldn't make it through the night. They saved my dog and she is doing so great now. I highly recommend this Vet because not only do they take the time to talk to you and keep you informed of what's going on, the Dr also calls and explains every detail of what they are doing and how your pet is doing. They have always put the needs of my pets FIRST! The staff is always friendly and welcoming. The office is always clean. They have an excellent boarding facility and a nice big yard for the dogs to run. We are treated like family, and my pets feel right at home here!

I just want to say how sick you make me. I can not believe someone who "cares" about animals could hurt so many because you are so worried about making a penny. You making Shelby Humane and Dr. Ellison stop doing what is best for our county and the animals in it is heartbreaking. Have you even ever been to the shelter and seen what goes on there every day?!? These people do so much good and you are hurting the good in our county and in our state. Our county needs vaccine clinics and low cost spay and neuter clinics to not only protect the animals in this county but the people too. The people that use the clinics are people who can not afford regular care for their pets, so therefore this is no computation to you. The humane society's a only helping people be able to keep their pets healthy and out of the shelter. I hope you understand the business you are going to lose because of this and how many animals and people you are hurting and killing everyday

For 20 years I have been fortunate to have Shelbiana Animal Clinic provide medical care for my animal family--10 dogs and 3 cats! The entire staff always makes me feel right at homeI I totally trust them with my furry family and will never forget their heartfelt kindness at those difficult times. I could not ask for a finer, more professional staff led by Charlie Thornburg, DVM, and Fred Self, DVM.

I just want to say how sick you make me. I can not believe someone who "cares" about animals could hurt so many because you are so worried about making a penny. You making Shelby Humane and Dr. Ellison stop doing what is best for our county and the animals in it is heartbreaking. Have you even ever been to the shelter and seen what goes on there every day?!? These people do so much good and you are hurting the good in our county and in our state. Our county needs vaccine clinics and low cost spay and neuter clinics to not only protect the animals in this county but the people too. The people that use the clinics are people who can not afford regular care for their pets, so therefore this is no computation to you. The humane society's a only helping people be able to keep their pets healthy and out of the shelter. I hope you understand the business you are going to lose because of this and how many animals and people you are hurting and killing everyday
