This was my first visit to your clinic with my two dogs, for an updated rabies vaccine. I was quoted one price, but due to getting the 3 year vs the 1 year, I was short $10 due to a miscommunication and your staff was incredibly inconsiderate. I was basically told that it was MY fault for not asking questions about the difference in costs, but I also felt as if were partially the tech's fault for not making sure that I was aware of a price difference. I offered to pay what I had in my pocket (90% of the bill) and come back on Friday morning to pay the remaining $10 balance. I was offered to apply for care credit, was advised to ask family and friends for the $10 or given the option to board my 2 dogs until Friday, all while incurring additional fees. And what really got me was when I stepped outside to make a phone call to ask if I could borrow the $10 , your staff looked out the blinds to make sure I hadn't left. Not only was that unprofessional, rude, but also appalling! I've never been so disrespected in my life. It was $10!!! We're not talking hundreds.. Ten bucks! I even offered to leave my driver's license with the receptionist until Friday (this was a Tuesday) when we got paid. Luckily, I was able to get the $10 so I could leave after half an hour of being humiliated by being short $10 and being treated like I was going to just skip out on my bill. I will be taking my dogs back to Huntsville where my other dog's vet is. I was looking to switch for convenience, but no, thanks. I'll continue with them.Read Less

I was devastated for two nights when my fur baby was missing. When he finally showed back up, he was in rough shape. Hip displaced and one eye punctured. First place I thought of was here. I'm so glad I did! Nothing but warm and friendly people here that will love and take care of your animal. I am truly grateful for this place. A local business in Decatur Alabama name Mellow Mushroom is doing bad business practices in your city. They are currently trying to force a sale of there business onto the Parker family who owns a local business in the area. They are forging there numbers to make the business look successful in the sale. An recent investor out of Montgomery Alabama back out of a deal with the owners because they sense untruthful practices. This location constantly missing payroll and pay several employees under the table. They also offer what they call shifts beers to all employees free of charge after each shift and even the underage one. There son was banned from the business and continues to bring a bad attitude in the business. They also haven't made payments to the Realator and write worthless checks to vendors. Is the best. We will miss my sweet girl Baby Girl. They do, do what they say.They do what is needed, give options, allow the owner to make the choice. They explain everything, so you know what your pet needs. They make you part of the family. My sweet girl loved them and they loved her. My boy Albert loves them. He can be a bit of a character and sensitive guy. He eats up the attention from the ladies. I brought my Yorkie (Lily) to Dr. Parker Tuesday just barely alive. She was completely limp and could barely breathe. She had obviously ate or come in contact with something that was toxic to her! We love Dr Lowery and her staff and would not take our pets anywhere else. They really care about our 3 cats and treat them like family. My wife and I moved here a couple of years ago and used another hospital but it just did not feel like they cared about our pets at all.
