Vets will know if an animal is dying. Twice I paid for appts and shots at a Vets office. Banfield very truthful saved my pet. Helped me put those 2 pets down. Employees were very honest.

Staff is very friendly and helpful with all of our pet need. We chose Banfield because they are open on Saturday, which makes vet visits easy and accessible. They are available by phone to answer questions, remind you of upcoming visits or medical refills. I have two German shepherds and they will see both dogs at the same time, unlike other vets that request you make separate appointments; in case you cannot get an off day to go to the vet you can also drop off your pet in the mornings before work and pick them up on your way home. I highly recommended this business.

Absolutely the friendliest place in North Alabama. We live in Huntsville and on a Saturday, no vet in all of Huntsville was willing to see my baby for his ear infection. We called them up and they said if we could get here in 45 minutes that they could see us. The doctors here have been the most friendly and have explained everything to us very well. I will gladly drive 30 mins to come here over ANY vet in Huntsville.

Doctor Lee and her staff are nothing sort of amazing. Dr. Lee takes the time to explain everything and answer any questions you may have. We have been going to her since we got our puppy 7 months ago, and we will never be going anywhere else. We also just adopted a special needs baby (1 amputated leg). I would not had to have thought twice as to wear to take him for his long term care. Everyone here is so nice and personable. Wonderful Vet and staff!

Went on a Friday to set my new puppy up on a Wellness Plan and the following Monday my puppy passed away in a tragic accident so I called them to let them know the news and see if I could transfer the plan to my new puppy since I had the plan for less than a week. I was told that the plan was not transferable and my puppy was compared to a new car. I was told that it would cost an additional $170 to cancel the plan on top of the $104 I paid the day I signed up. I was told that it's like if you buy a new car and leave a wreck it, then you still have to pay for it. I'm not sure about other dog lovers but I do not feel like this is at all like a new car, this is a life and family member! I would never use this place again because of their lack of sympathy and care for their customers. It's obviously all about the money to them and not the families!

Sadly, we took our little girl there under bad circumstances. Ultimately, we had to put Suzy down to end her suffering. She received the best care that she could have. Today we received a sympathy car...
Sadly, we took our little girl there under bad circumstances. Ultimately, we had to put Suzy down to end her suffering. She received the best care that she could have. Today we received a sympathy card signed by all the staff. Wasn't just a signature for everyone, but actual condolences. The staff goes above and beyond to care for our furry kids.

We put Max on the "puppy plan" right after we got him. Everyone we have dealt with on the staff is knowledgeable and very attentive. They are very thorough and it's very obvious they love all the animals they treat. The prices are very reasonable, as well. I highly recommend Banfield and Johnna Lee, DVM to anyone in the Decatur area looking for a Veterinarian. You will be hard pressed to find a Vet that will take better care of your animals!

Dr. Pearson missed diagnosed my puppy and he would have died if I had not taken him to another veterinarian. Thank goodness my puppy is alive and well now. I spoke to Dr. Pearson on the phone and he was very apologetic and also spoke to Banfield Pet Hospital corporate office. Corporate office said someone would get in touch with me in a few days, never happened. Filed complaint with the BBB. Best to take your pet to another veterinarian to start with. In response to Banfield Pet Hospital, yes your aware of this matter and my call to Banfield Corprate office as it was recorded. As well as my complaint to the BBB you have all the facts and just decided to ignore it. My feeling is that its a fact that your Dr is negligent and I told him so and all he could say was he was "sorry".
