WOW!!!!! What a great place! My boxer dog Zuess has been a patient of Dr. Amy's for about four years. New years weekend, Zuess fell ill with a rash and bumps. Monday Morning on NEW YEARS DAY I pulled into the clinic to find they were closed. I went into a state of panic and quickly dialed the hospitals number to retrieve an emergency number. A very kind man answered the phone and I explained the situation. He invited Zuess and I to the front door and let us in. Well, if they were closed, it sure didn't seem like it. Dr Amy and staff were tending to other patients and working at a diligent feverish pace.... ON THEIR DAY OFF!!!!! On other visits I have had the great pleasure to meet the staff and Dr Amy many times. There is something VERY RIGHT about this place.... they always seem to have the same staff. They have always treated Zuess and I like family and heck.... I don't like to have to board him, but have had to a couple of occasions. Zuess was always well taken care of and in fact, I believe a little spoiled! (even more so than at home) Anyway, Zuess and I are proud members of the Lillian Fire Dept and reach out to many of those in our community. Zuess likes to visit shut ins and meet all kinds of people in our travels. Zuess was well enough the next day (today) to continue his loving visits. Thank you Dr Amy for you and your AMAZING STAFF! I just want to give a shout out about the excellent boarding and day care experience that my dog has had twice at the Elberta Animal Hospital and Doggy Daycare. My cockerpoo has stayed at a number of boarding facilities over the years but she has never come home from one so happy and so clean! She is an inside dog, a rescue from a puppy mill with some anxiety issues and mixed experiences with other dogs. But she does love people and has a nose for the ones she can trust. It has been a huge relief to find a place where she can go for 4 days or so and come home the better for it. Dr. Amy, Christie, Kevin, Katie et al. are wonderful with my dog and cat and that is what matters most! While I have great respect for anyone who helps animals I can't say my trip to Elberta Animal Clinic was what I expected. I have a 5 lb. shi-tzu named Chloe. She fell off the bed and was in a lot of pain. I took her for an X-ray. I got a lecture on flea control, Chloe got Comfortis, since I told them her flea meds were due. I was told she was infested. Now my dog is 10 years old and gets a bath every 2 or 3 months. She is half inside dog ,but plays outside with my other 3 ALL DAY. SHE GETS DIRTY. I could've bathed her before our Dr visit but she was hurting. When I called to check on her X-rays I was told she'd had a bath and been flea dipped, which I wouldn't have wanted. While I know they probably meant well, I was admonished about her dirtiness( "I had to cut a couple of matts out")she is brushed regularly as they should have been able to tell. I have 4 dogs and a cat and we haven't had a flea problem. I know what a flea problem is, believe me. I still felt talked down to. We'll just find a new veterinarian who doesn't mind a little dirt.I'd rather my dogs problem be addressed than her hygiene. I love my dogs.Read Less

Amy and Kevin are great with my (trained) Schnauzer. It is amazing people think they can hypnotize crazed felines to not be neurotic and vicious when removed from their home enviroment. It's laughable owners take no responsibility for their crazy ass cats and dogs and pin blame for the way the animals act on the vet. dr. paszkowski saved my dogs life, she had been shot by my pit-bull hating preacher neighbor, i had nowhere to go but here, they save her life and made her stable, however, when i wished to retrieve my dog to bring her to pensacola to get a second opinion on the removal of her bullets, they became irate and mad at me, i simply did not like the fact they wanted to leave in the bullets and wanted a second opinion, then it got worse, i paid 500 of my 1100 dollar bill and was told i couldnt take her unless i paid it full, i was immediatly inraged and marched in the back and took my dog myself elsewhere and dared them to stop me, thats why they got 3 stars instead of 5 Read Less
