Yes, they did a nice job on the actual haircut. But it was not affordable or quick. Our dog didn't seem well cared for as he acted like he had been denied water all day. Dr.A saved our little Daisy from being put down. Daisy had surgery by another veterinarian to remove a tumor on her neck and two days later it opened up and we were told it wouldn't close because of bad tissue. Dr. A said he could make it right and closed it up and ten days later it's all healed up. We were told the best option was to put her down and today she is back 100% the old daisy. Read Less

A year ago I moved to Pensacola and thought it was to far of a drive to Foley back to Dr. A's office. So I tried a groomer in Pensacola. (Stupid move) I'll never take my dogs to another place. Dr. A and his staff are very professional. And great with the animals. And I'll continue to make that long drive so I know my dogs are in good hands and mistreated or abused. Read Less

so Dr. A. has done a wonderful job of fixing Benji's nose. A week ago Benji ventured into the neighbors yard and came back with his nose and lip hanging off. we thought that Benjamin would lose his lip and be a hair lip. we didn't care because we still had our Benji. When our 3 year old shih tzu Max had a horrific eye injury we didn't know who to call. We are new to the area and after several calls we found Dr. Ainsworth in his office. He treated Max and the family with great kindness and care. At the follow-up visits we were welcomed with the same care from the entire staff. In the end, Max lost his eyesight but has so far kept his eye. We have definitely found a great vet for both of our dogs. War Eagle! Read Less

Wow - where to start? I don't think he deserves even half a star! Their rates are outrageously expensive. Let's put it this way - next time my dog gets sick, I'll drive far, far away from this place. The staff does absolutely nothing to make you feel at home or at ease - the lobby/waiting area is super tiny - and the girl that answered the phones that day was REALLY lacking in common sense and plain old manners. And don't get me started on the doctor.... OK, too late. I'm amazed that this guy has a business (they have 2 doctors - the one I'm referring to is named Chris "Answorth" or "Ailsworth" - I'll call him "Dr. A"). He's a vet who just doesn't seem to like animals! Odd, right? Dr. A also seems to have a problem with people who ask too many questions. He was either pre-occupied, daydreaming or just ignoring me that day, and when he did pay attention to what I had to say, he cut me off and acted like I had no right to question him about anything. Oh, and get this - his cell phone rang while he was looking at my dog and he actually answered it & disappeared for 10 minutes - no "Excuse me" or "I need to take this call", etc. - he just went away. He spent more time on the phone than he did examining my dog! I will NEVER go there again. I really hope that the other doctor that works there is nothing like Dr. A. If you're reading this because you need a Vet in the Foley area, try Dr. Dykes - my Mom has been taking her 17 year old cat to him (for 17 years!), and she says Dr. Dykes is the only vet she'll go to now.
