My dog had a mass on her liver that was identified by another vet through xray that Dr McClung missed with a blood panel i was billed for which should have given a strong indication of the condition but was missed or ignored. What's worse is that given when McClungs evaluation occured there may have been time to address the condition but by the time i made the decision to seek another opinion it was to late.
If you are among those who cherish the lives of your four legged companions and family members i strongly suggest going elsewhere
When timing and her rapidly deteriorating condition forced me to choose grand bay vet to put her to sleep, as he drew the compound into the syringe he told me some dogs have a violent reaction to the shot. I then asked if he was going to sedate her first he all but refused telling me "Look, it's 5pm and i have an hour worth of work left to do, OK?" This despite requesting AND HAVING BEEN BILLED FOR SEDATION ($30 extra) Mind blown

I took my dog Shilah, to the Grand Bay Animal Clinic because she was sick and my normal vet couldn’t see her. I was SO impressed with everyone that worked there. The Doctor and staff were so friendly, helpful and empathetic to my 3lb. sick dog. They fixed her right up and she is already on the road to recovery! I can’t say enough about how wonderful my experience was. The prices they charge are phenomenal! They’re not out to rob you like some vet hospitals. They truly care and my Shilah is resting comfortably tonight. Thank you so much!!!!

My niece was given a dog with all her papers from this place. Those papers said she was spayed. It was a paper work mistake so now she has a pup that could be pregnant. I feel they should fix her with...
My niece was given a dog with all her papers from this place. Those papers said she was spayed. It was a paper work mistake so now she has a pup that could be pregnant. I feel they should fix her without charge because it was their mistake, but nope they want to charge her.

They have a good respect for our furry friends. The medications run a bit higher than you can find on line, that's not unusual for any Veterinarian office. They do offer Care Credit that helps to spread our payments out with no interest; It depends on current offers usually a 12 month intrest free account. I've Used Grand Bay Animal Clinic for many years,, they are highly respected by most of Grand Bay. They've certainly gained my respect and admiration caring for our animals, the staff all treat them with TLC.

SCAM, brought pet it for pre surgery exam, was told surgery would be $400-500 next day they called back and said it would be $800(because they realized others charged more) wasted money on initial exam.. three years later they had the nerve to send me a bill like I owe them money, I paid for their lie of an exam... greedy, go somewhere else..

The vet was good to my pets and took care of them. Also reasonably priced, but honestly, i feel like the price is so cheap to make up for the rude ass women that work at the desk. They act like you are completely ignorant (when they are the ones who can never even answer a simple question) and treat you as such when you walk in and even worse when you speak to them over the phone. I figured after a few years they would start acting more like they might care about their job and the customers but...NOPE! I literally get into an argument with them every time i've called or came in and that's after i allowed them to be rude to me while i was as nice and calm as i could be for a while. On top of that, they are almost NEVER open. I've taken my business elsewhere so many times just because of the rudeness and apparently they make up their own holidays or somethung just so they can close. I always try to go to them first because they are the closest and cheapest, but its seriously not worth it. I'll just keep driving further and paying double.

To add insult to injury they charged us extra when we had to have our fur baby put down. We knew what was wrong with him and they charged us for an exam that wasn't needed on top of putting him down.

I had a couple reasonable visits with the Vet. But the bad experiences trump the good. Firstly, when I had my 1st cat spaded, I was told it would cost between $80 & $100. When I went there to pick her up, they had tacked on an extra $40, & would not let me taje my cat home (so they pretty much held her hostage), to add insult to injury they charged Another $20 for holding her overnight! The other Bad was when my brother took my aunts dog out there for her, & she didn't pay, they sent him the bill, took a year to clear that up.

My dog had a mass on her liver that was identified by another vet through xray that Dr McClung missed with a blood panel i was billed for which should have given a strong indication of the condition but was missed or ignored. I took my dog Shilah, to the Grand Bay Animal Clinic because she was sick and my normal vet couldn’t see her. I was SO impressed with everyone that worked there. The Doctor and staff were so friendly, helpful and empathetic to my 3lb. sick dog. They fixed her right up and she is already on the road to recovery! I can’t say enough about how wonderful my experience was. The prices they charge are phenomenal! They’re not out to rob you like some vet hospitals. They truly care and my Shilah is resting comfortably tonight. Thank you so much!!!!

The vet was good to my pets and took care of them. Also reasonably priced, but honestly, i feel like the price is so cheap to make up for the rude ass women that work at the desk. They act like you are completely ignorant (when they are the ones who can never even answer a simple question) and treat you as such when you walk in and even worse when you speak to them over the phone. I had a couple reasonable visits with the Vet. But the bad experiences trump the good. Firstly, when I had my 1st cat spaded, I was told it would cost between $80 & $100.
