We have been very pleased with this Vet and their staff. Their facilities are clean, well decorated and smell more like a spa than an animal hospital. Our dogs love to board at the VIP suites with plenty of room and their own TV. The staff is so kind and patient with the humans and the animals. Living in the country, we have found several stray dogs, cats, and puppies. Dr. Young has helped us restore them back to good health so we could find them forever homes. Well deserved 5 star rating. I went there on July 9th 2018 to get my dogs tail checked out because she had a rash on it. The front desk lady was very nice and respectful, the 2 people at first that came to see her were very helpful as well then they had to give her a steroid shot and this other lady came in and tried to put a STRING around her muzzle to give her a shot. We tried to say no but she didn’t even give us a chance then we got our folder bc we are changing vets this lady stood there with a smug look on her face just staring at us and stared us down walking out the door. -We said at least 3 times no we didn’t want her muzzled and to stop, then they cornered her not listening to us for them to stop and gave her the shot Read Less

We have boarded our pet at other places in the past with less than stellar outcomes. Not so here, our pet loves it there and exhibits excellent behavior when we pick him up. I brought my dog here in an emergency. She was unconcious and we had no idea what was wrong. They made us wait half an hour to even take her because they only cared about getting their money. After charging hundreds of dollars, the most they did was give her an IV. The next day she was awake and she could walk and they told us she was going to be fine, but she had seizures that night and we had to take her to a different vet because they were the only ones that would come, and they told us she was never fine and if they had tested her at all they would've known. Excellent place! I can't say enough good things about Dr. Young and his staff. We have been other places over the years but the quality, compassion and friendliness we have always received far exceed any place else. We currently have 2 dogs under Dr. Young's care. One of the dogs was a rescue dog that has had many issues so we have been to the office many times. The care and attention has been terrific each and every time! Everyone is always compassionate and helpful and I have always felt like my 'kids' were getting the best care possible. Dr. Young has performed several surgeries for us and the results far exceeded our expectations. He and his staff are very cost conscious also when providing care and alternatives. Don't use this Veterinarian. Went in with high expectations of a beautiful clinic with my senior cat Janice. I was quoted a price of $160.00 for exam and blood work then was charge $295.00 which I refuse to pay so they drop it back to $160.00 but now refuses to even explain her blood work just by saying they dropped it in the mail and I may take it to another Vet for interpretation. They are also a pet adoption / shelter service in association with other local agencies. I am very pleased with how we are treated and the quality of service provided. They are very accommodating setting up appointments quickly and at convenient times. The office manager and veterinary assistants are very helpful, friendly and professional. I appreciate the first-rate care Dr. Young provides our senior cat. Because of his excellent diagnostic capabilities he quickly addresses medical problems. We are visiting from out of town on a strict travel schedule. Our senior dog, Sissy, stumbled and broke a tooth. Dr. Young discovered some serious health issues during a pre-op exan, with her and not only quickly addressed them, he did dental surgery, removing several abscessed teeth with infection into the jaw bones. We had taken her to our regular vet with health concerns prior to taveling and he assured us there was nothing seriously wrong with her as he proceeded to give us her 3rd antibiotic for swollen lymph nodes. His staff is wonderful and very accomadating to very upset and nervous puppy parents. The facility is very clean and everything was explained to us in detail. We even had blood work performed on our other senior pup and discovered her meds needed to be changed ASAP due to liver issues. This will be the clinic we use whenever we are in town, which is several times a year.Read Less
