Homewood based Green Springs Animal Clinic excels in the science of Veterinary medicine and was founded in 1965 by Dr. Ross Cryar. A partnership was later formed with Hoke Animal Clinic in 1985. Since then Dr. Brian Davies and Dr. Gregg Tucker along with associates and staff have excelled in compassionate veterinary care in the Homewood and Birmingham area.
Green Springs Animal Clinic is a full-service animal hospital whose mission is to provide the highest standard of veterinary care for pets. We provide friendly, informative, and supportive services for you and your pet, while maintaining a superior working environment for our employees.
Green Springs Animal Clinic and Hoke Animal Clinic offer medical, surgical, and dental veterinary care to the animal communities of Homewood, Birmingham, Vestavia, and Mountain Brook. Referral to 24- hour emergency care is provided. With an in-house pharmacy, access to specialists, grooming, and boarding (with Sunday pickup) our facility offers a one stop for your pet's health and medical care.

Excellent vet the past few times I have gone. They always are friendly and give the animals plenty of attention and comfort to make sure they are calm and happy. They explain things in a clear and concise manner so you understand what is going on. I would completely recommend this vet to anyone looking for animal care!

We went in with our cat who was in need of emergency assistance. It was on a Saturday and they told us to bring him right in. The doctor and staff was all wonderful to us. They gave him fluids, shots ...
We went in with our cat who was in need of emergency assistance. It was on a Saturday and they told us to bring him right in. The doctor and staff was all wonderful to us. They gave him fluids, shots and oral medication for home. He is now back to his normal self. We are so grateful to everyone at the clinic who helped our cat. This will be our new vet.

Very friendly staff! Need them to babysit my little buddy and they were all to willing to help!! THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH for being there when I needed the help!! US STEEL doesn't allow pets in the truck when you go on their property. Can't stand an animal hater!! A lot of drivers have there pets with them and some take their kids/grand-kids with them and don't allow kids under 18 on the property either. THE NERVE!!!!

I urge all of my friends to bring their pets to Hoke. All of the doctors are wonderful, but I'm especially a fan of Dr. Jennifer Dexter. She cried after my previous cat's death, and I find so much security in having a doctor who cares so deeply. Each team member is welcoming and attentive to my cats' needs. I'm so grateful to have found a safe, welcoming place for my pets at Hoke.
