We have been with Dr. Borden and Dr. Williams for over eight years. After having experiences with other vets over a period of many years, we find their clinic truly refreshing! They really care. They are truly competent. They have created a support system that has become a family. We always feel completely comfortable whether they are treating or boarding our dogs. I visited Galleria Animal Clinic for the first time this morning. Dr. Borden and his staff took such great care of my cat. Not only did they treat us like loyal clients and give little Sey lots of love, but when he had an allergic reaction to the medicine a couple hours later, they took him back immediately to give him allergy shots and such. First, we drive an hour to go to this clinic, they all are very competent. I am answering about Dr.Williams. I like Dr Borden so much, I was hesitant to have her see my animals and they were always willing to give me a vet of choice. I was very happy that there was now another vet so I could go to the same place and have the same staff take care of my animals. After seeing Dr. Williams several times with my cats and dogs, I now to not express a preference of a veterinarian because I have always been very happy with how she examined our animals and handled herself. She found a growth on my dog's gum when she quickly looked at him while cutting her nails. My cat was the one in for a check-up but she looked at three of our animals and there was no additional charge. Very impressed. Read Less

was disappointed that Dr. Borden didn't talk to me before or after my bunnies were spayed. I thought he would at least explain to me the procedure or come out afterwards to tell me how surgery had gone and what to watch for in case of complications. I had to practically beg for pain meds the day after surgery because i was told the day of surgery they didn't need it. after speaking to many people who have had their bunnies spayed I knew that they really need to have some. perhaps Dr. Borden is great with dogs and cats but not as experienced as I was told he was with bunnies. I rarely take the time to write reviews, but I have to for this place. I moved out here about a year ago for school and have done my best to schedule trips to the vet when I go back home instead of finding a new vet. However, my dog's teeth got so bad this time that I had to get them cleaned immediately. I called about a dozen places based on recommendations from friends but received absolutely outrageous quotes for a dental. I found Galleria featured on Best of Birmingham, and it had great reviews through this Facebook page. Their price quote was incredibly reasonable, and I was able to schedule a cleaning in just over a week. I was worried about my 5 lb chihuahua going under IV anesthesia because he has had bad reactions in the past, but they used gas instead. I'd never been there before, so I asked to meet the doctor when I dropped him off this morning, and both she and the rest of the staff were really nice. I picked him up just now, and not only do his teeth look fantastic but he is 100% his normal self. Being a student, I am so incredibly grateful that they took such great care of Rocko without emptying my wallet. Definitely recommend this place!Read Less

dr. allen borden is the best. an honest,caring,loving Christian man. he has recently gone through very serious cancer and the death of his Mother. you would have never known it except for the staff letting you know. i''ve been going there about ten years and bypass several closer vets.never been a question about getting what I need because of $.his staff is also the best. wish I could give 10 stars.so glad to see all13 reviews on him were 5 stars. Dr. Borden and his staff are exactly who I was looking for. They're friendly, professional, compassionate and not out to break the bank. Dr. Borden has a special way with animals and an incredible knowledge of vetinary medicine. I found a stray cat in my yard who Dr. Borden saved with a week's worth of IV fluids. His office staff was told there was no charge for me to pay. In this day and age, I am so pleased to find a vet who's personality, ethics and knowledge are far above the mainstream.
