The doctor always calls me after to check on my pet's recovery. And recover they do! These people have saved my pets more than a few times. And their fees are quite reasonable. I will never change vet clinics!

The staff and doctors are always so friendly at Oak View. Anytime one of our pets have had to have surgery, or been hurt, the next day Dr. Robinson will call personally to check and make sure they are doing okay. We have never had our animals treated this well. We love her for the wonderful care she gives our pets. The staff make each and every one of our pets feel like a "rock star!" I highly recommend this vet!

We recently moved here and shopped around for a vet for our two dogs. We tried one in Hoover (upon recommendation) and were very dissatisfied with the service and follow up. I did more research and came across Oak View. The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable and the Vet spent time with me and my dogs to go over their appointment. A few days later we received a hand written card in the mail welcoming us to their family and how they look forward to having our pups stay with them! You don't see that kind of personal customer service anymore, we were impressed with the entire experience!

Dr. Robinson and the rest of the staff at Oak View are incredible. I switched to Oak View for my two cats last year, and I am so glad that I did. I had a situation this week where my sweet Magellan was not feeling well, and they were able to get him in that afternoon. Dr. Robinson was so thorough and answered all of my questions. I felt very at ease knowing he was in such good care. Because of them he's feeling so much better now.

But let me just say, I am SO thankful you guys are the first vet I tried after moving to the Pelham/Helena area! I can NOT thank Dr. Katie Stipes and the rest of the amazing team at OV for taking such great care of my babies for the first time today! You guys were so sweet to my super timid big baby AND kitty. They were wonderful with our little Ruby Sue (Shih Tzu). I highly recommend them...from arriving to leaving it was an awesome experience! Very caring and never felt rushed. I have used Oak View since 2006. My dogs love it there. The staff makes you feel so comfortable. I am emotionally attached to my kids well dogs. My baby girl Missy is getting older now going blind and i dropped her off for a grooming. My baby had a seisure they called me immediately just asked if i was still close by. I was. When i got there they told me what happened. I fell over crying. The staff sat with me watched my baby girl called the next day to check on her. This place is amazing.

I have been using Oak View Vet in Hoover for 9 years and have been happy with them until recently. In the last couple of months I have had two very bad experiences there. First I boarded Roxie and Sadie there for three days in November and asked for them to be bathed of the third day. Without my permission, they injected both dogs before their bath with a sedative. Sadie was a bit woozy but Roxie had to be carried out to my car and could not walk for more than 24 hours after I got her home. They apologized for the apparent overdose.In December I boarded them again (without a bath request) and I believe Sadie was abused. She is afraid of my hand and my wife's hand when held out to her. She shivers and backs off with her tail between her legs. I talked with Dr. Price there about both incidents and he apologizes for her problem but did not have anything else to offer. Their beds were soiled and I was told that over the weekend they are only let out 2 times daily to relieve themselves.

I recommend Oak View to everyone. The doctors and staff are personable, caring and friendly and take a genuine interest in your pet's health. I had used a previous vet in the past and never felt like they remembered me or my dog and never called to follow-up like Oak View does. Thank you Dr. Robinson and all the staff for always taking such great care of my McGee! Everyone is always so friendly and calls me & McGee by name, even after our first few visits. I appreciate you explaining to me the importance of senior pet care for my 12 year-old dog and doing lab tests that helped diagnose some minor issues and also cleaned her teeth to help her breath!

The office staff are friendly and helpful and the Veterinarians are superb! Although the reception area can be a bit cramped at times, they will get you back into a room quickly if other patients are waiting as well. I wouldn't take my animals anywhere else! I've never utilized their emergency services so I cannot speak to that but I do use them for regular checkups/Rabies Shots/etc... regularly and have been suitably impressed. If only it were closer to home for me...

This place is great! It's located at the edge of a residential section of Pelham, it's been there as long as I can remember. They've been around for a long time for good reason. They really care. The doctor always calls me after to check on my pet's recovery. And recover they do! These people have saved my pets more than a few times. And their fees are quite reasonable. I will never change vet clinics!

The staff and doctors are always so friendly at Oak View. Anytime one of our pets have had to have surgery, or been hurt, the next day Dr. Robinson will call personally to check and make sure they are doing okay. We have never had our animals treated this well. We love her for the wonderful care she gives our pets. The staff make each and every one of our pets feel like a "rock star!" I highly recommend this vet!

We recently moved here and shopped around for a vet for our two dogs. We tried one in Hoover (upon recommendation) and were very dissatisfied with the service and follow up. I did more research and came across Oak View. The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable and the Vet spent time with me and my dogs to go over their appointment. A few days later we received a hand written card in the mail welcoming us to their family and how they look forward to having our pups stay with them! You don't see that kind of personal customer service anymore, we were impressed with the entire experience!

Dr. Robinson and the rest of the staff at Oak View are incredible. I switched to Oak View for my two cats last year, and I am so glad that I did. I had a situation this week where my sweet Magellan was not feeling well, and they were able to get him in that afternoon. Dr. Robinson was so thorough and answered all of my questions. I felt very at ease knowing he was in such good care. Because of them he's feeling so much better now.

But let me just say, I am SO thankful you guys are the first vet I tried after moving to the Pelham/Helena area! I can NOT thank Dr. Katie Stipes and the rest of the amazing team at OV for taking such great care of my babies for the first time today! You guys were so sweet to my super timid big baby AND kitty. They were wonderful with our little Ruby Sue (Shih Tzu). I highly recommend them...from arriving to leaving it was an awesome experience! Very caring and never felt rushed. I have used Oak View since 2006. My dogs love it there. The staff makes you feel so comfortable. I am emotionally attached to my kids well dogs. My baby girl Missy is getting older now going blind and i dropped her off for a grooming. My baby had a seisure they called me immediately just asked if i was still close by. I was. When i got there they told me what happened. I fell over crying. The staff sat with me watched my baby girl called the next day to check on her. This place is amazing.

I have been using Oak View Vet in Hoover for 9 years and have been happy with them until recently. In the last couple of months I have had two very bad experiences there. First I boarded Roxie and Sadie there for three days in November and asked for them to be bathed of the third day. Without my permission, they injected both dogs before their bath with a sedative. Sadie was a bit woozy but Roxie had to be carried out to my car and could not walk for more than 24 hours after I got her home. They apologized for the apparent overdose.In December I boarded them again (without a bath request) and I believe Sadie was abused. She is afraid of my hand and my wife's hand when held out to her. She shivers and backs off with her tail between her legs. I talked with Dr. Price there about both incidents and he apologizes for her problem but did not have anything else to offer. Their beds were soiled and I was told that over the weekend they are only let out 2 times daily to relieve themselves.

I had used a previous vet in the past and never felt like they remembered me or my dog and never called to follow-up like Oak View does. Thank you Dr. Robinson and all the staff for always taking such great care of my McGee! Everyone is always so friendly and calls me & McGee by name, even after our first few visits. I appreciate you explaining to me the importance of senior pet care for my 12 year-old dog and doing lab tests that helped diagnose some minor issues and also cleaned her teeth to help her breath!

Although the reception area can be a bit cramped at times, they will get you back into a room quickly if other patients are waiting as well. I wouldn't take my animals anywhere else! I've never utilized their emergency services so I cannot speak to that but I do use them for regular checkups/Rabies Shots/etc... regularly and have been suitably impressed. If only it were closer to home for me...
