It's so great that this place exists! Everyone needs to fix their pets and North AL Spay and Neuter clinic makes it affordable and easy. Their drop off and pick up is organized well so that cats are not terrorized by dogs and it doesn't take too long. I brought my cat and received a call before I left the parking lot that my cat was already neutered, despite a vet telling me otherwise. They did a good job fixing my cat, but he came home with worms from that place and now both my cats have them. They never go outside. Ever. So I know they came from here. They didn’t even offer a dewormer. I will not bring my cats back here again. I am nine months pregnant with a five year old, and I’m finding worms coming out of his bottom. I am pissed. Read Less

At first I was skeptical because it seemed like a factory process for spaying and neutering dogs at a low cost. I got my 1 year old shepherd spayed, and it went perfectly. There were no complications, and they were thorough with after-care instructions and were free to answer any questions after hours if necessary. 2 weeks later I got my pride and joy Labrador spayed with no worries at all. Scheduling for my two puppies was easy on-line with a minimal wait. The clinic is well run and organized. The staff are exceedingly friendly and kind to pets and nervous parents alike. They spent plenty of time explaining procedures to me both before and after surgery. They explained about microchipping and flea, tick, and heart worm medications, which were sold at tremendous savings in comparison to my regular vet. We've had 8 pets spayed & neutered here so far, and each experience has been great! While they are there, you can get your pet microchipped, vaccinated, and some blood testing done. I wish they were a regular veterinarian, they'd have me for life!Read Less

I been using their service since 2013 and so far I got 3 of my pets fixed there and my mother got 3 of her pets fixed there. I'll be coming back to get my two last pets spayed and neutered!!! Love them and love the service just absolutely HATE the parking lot and how close it is to the road. Wish it had a better and bigger parking lot and more off the main road. We have used them 3 times: 2 spays of our tiny Chihuahua's and a Neuter of a Great Pyrenees. I must say we are very impressed with the services that we received with all three. I have one little male Chihuahua that I will be having neutered as soon as he is old enough. There are no complaints about the service at all. The only thing I would wish could be done, is an enclosed entrance for people with dogs to use. I do understand the need for keeping cats and dogs separate because cat scratches really hurt. Dogs may not bother the cats but cats are prone to be a little timid and nervous, so the rule of keeping them apart is understandable. Read Less

Let me start by saying these people do great things for animals. Could a few things be changed, absolutely. Upon arrival out puppy was exceeding nervous about the cars on the highway although the sign on the door said no dogs (she is a sweet baby who wouldn't have bothered any of the cats and probably stayed under our chair or in our lap), but as soon as I entered before I could even ask if it were ok since the lobby was almost empty I was yelled at and told to get her out of there. I already was very wary and worried because she's the first dog I've ever been truly responsible for. I had my boyfriend take Lucy outside and waiting to talk to the man who just yelled at me. After about 15 minutes he calls me up to the counter and reassures of the procedure and her after care, he even let me come pick her up early, as soon as I got off work. When we picked her up she was covered in her own shit. They didn't even try to clean her up or wipe it off after we JUST had her groomed the previous day since we wouldn't be able to bathe her for two weeks. I'm more upset that I had to spend hours cleaning off dried shit off of my baby and knowing she could have been covered in her own shit during surgery. If I could go back I'm not sure that I would use them again because I didn't feel secure in leaving her.Read Less

We adopted 3 kittens. Spaying 3 kittens at our usual vet was going to be very expensive. We believe in fixing our pets and this clinic did it in a timely cost effective manner. I was taking my pet there (not by choice) to get spayed because the organization paid for her to get spayed. Her appt. was on Thursday I was there an hour before her appt. when 8am came around I was told I had to rechedule till Monday because the dr. Was not going to be there. No notice beforehand so I scheduled for the following Monday. On Monday, a few hours after dropping her off I get a phone call saying they couldn't get to her till Tuesday morning, I couldn't get over there to pick her up till 1:00pm. They were super unhappy because I couldn't get over there till 1. I will never send any pets over there nor will I recommend this place to anyone just due to the inconvenience on myself with them and then for them to get mad because I can't come get her as soon as they call. Don't waste your time. Get your pets spayed/ neutered with your own vets. Read Less

I have a pit/lab mix that has lots of energy and had lots of swelling due to that energy. They were excellent to work with and sat me down to give me instructions on him.
