Seriously, love Dr. Renfroe and his staff. My dogs are always able to be seen quickly and don't have to spend a bunch of time in the waiting room. He also spends time answering my questions and is extremely affordable. Read Less

We just moved to town and needed a new bird vet. Dr. Renfroe was very quick and gentle with our parrots for beak/nail trims and exams. This is important with birds who can get VERY stressed and possibly suffer cardiomyopathy. They also kept them in the exam room so I could watch and get a better feel for doing the trims myself. Pricing was also VERY VERY reasonable! I've worked for a vet most of my life and this place was a great deal and I felt very comfortable with them handling my babies, we'll be going back! Read Less

Please don't take your animal here for grooming. A friends animal was taken here for grooming. When it was picked up, their was cuts and numerous places on it where it was shaved all the way to the skin, leaving it red and inflammed. The owner called and talked to the vet. It was denied and every excuse in the book used to try and justify the animal being abused. He never offered to treat the animal for what his groomer had done, nor did he offer a simply "Sorry". The animal was taken to another vet who was appalled at what he saw. The animal had to be put on antibiotic and predisone to try and prevent any infections. After speaking with the vet who caused the damage and informing them she wanted her animals records. She was told she could pick them up later that day. When the records was picked up comments had been just added to them. The handwriting wasn't the same, different colored ink, and you could tell certain comments was newer than others. I have been taking my dogs to Dr. Renfroe for years and I like him very much. I have notice the past couple of years Dr. Renfroe does not take the time with my dogs as his use too. He examines them so quick, I am in and out of the exam room with my dog in less than 10 minutes, and there is a big bill waiting at the checkout desk with Mrs. Renfroe. The last time my dog boarded there when I brought her home she ate and ate. I called to ask them did the dog eat the 3 days she was boarded. They swore up and down that she ate hearty. I am still suspicious of that. After looking into the way the board the dogs I am not satisfied; time is not spent with the dogs. They are just locked up in their pin. There is no grassy area at their facility to walk the dogs or allow them to take care of their business. I have found out there is no tech on duty or comes in at night to monitor the dogs. I think Dr. Renfroe is a good vet but, I think his tactics are a bit out dated. I understand rates do increase with all types of service, but Dr. Renfroe has really increased his rates and it seems is that they are about the MONEY now. I think his service does not equal the present rates that they are charging. In other words as a long time customer of Dr. Renfroe, I think his quality of service is not what it used to be and has declined. I am planning to move my dogs to another Veterinarian once I find one that I am comfortable with. Read Less
