I apologize for this being so long but I feel it’s important to tell the whole story!😄 This place was truly amazing for us and our sweet kitty Freddie. He was a shelter cat for 10 years because he was so shy with most people, but he took to me and my daughter right away and chose us as his family, unfortunately he was diagnosed with cancer the day before he came home, he wasn’t expected to make it long but we had a wonderful 18 months with him! He suddenly stopped eating and I called Valley Animal Hospital at the suggestion of a former shelter employee, which says a lot because I’m sure they have experience with many vets in town. They got him in right away and I couldn’t believe how quickly Freddie took to Dr Brock, he’s the cat whisperer in my opinion! He let the Dr pick him up and examine him without an ounce of fight, and I know he wasn’t feeling good but he was still weary about my husband that morning, lol, so I know it was because he felt comfortable with them right away. They told me they could run a bunch of tests but they didn’t want to unnecessarily since it was likely his cancer and they could hear his lungs were full of fluid, and he didn’t have long. They could’ve easily made hundreds off of us but chose not to, which I couldn’t believe either. They were respectful with the entire process of putting Freddie to sleep the next day and allowed my 10 year old to hold him during, they explained what was going to happen wonderfully and thanked her multiple times for giving him a good home and how special she was for doing that. Weeks later after we picked up his ashes we received clay ornaments of Freddie’s paw prints, a signed card that had condolences from every staff member, and a donation was made in Freddie’s honor to Chippewa National Forrest. I’m crying now just thinking about how thoughtful that was. I’ve never had such a wonderful experience with a veterinary office from start to finish, and we weren’t even regular clients, they went above and beyond for our Freddie and we’re so thankful! It’s rare to find a place like this these days and we will definitely go back once we’re ready to adopt again! Thank you to everyone at the office for being so kind and respectful, what you do makes a huge difference❤️

The staff here is super friendly and it's clear they care about animals. I was pet sitting for fiends when their puppy had an emergency. The staff got her in as quickly as they could (knowing the situation was not life threatening at that point) and did all the could to keep the puppy comfortable while letting us (I was keeping my friends updated) know what we could and should do for the puppies sake going forward.

This is the wonderful vet practice I continually come back to for all of my furry animals. Every person that works here seems to genuinely care and I am completely comfortable when I have to leave my pet for a procedure that requires sedation. They will honestly tell you if a procedure is needed and won't charge you for one that isn't just because they can.

We love Valley for our 2 German shepherds..the oldest one broke his foot and they replaced his cast 7 times and they are very thorough with them . They suggest the best care plans for whatever the situation may be. Phantom and Zeke love the pet resort as well . The only place we board and go to the spa at ! Highly recommended!!

Valley animal hospital has been amazing to me and our family. We are new customers to them but feel like they have been family forever! My kitty Mylo got into some trouble with an infection on his face from a wound they took care of him same day, sent us home with meds that took care of everything!!! They were very thorough and genuinely love our animal as their own. A couple months past and Mylo got into trouble with a dog that ended up hurting him to the point we had to put him down. Dr Brock stood by us and told us what was going on. we didn't want to let go just yet, so he let us bring him home and make him comfortable for one more night to see if it would help being in a different environment of course it didn't, but it gave me the comfort of knowing we tried everything. They were just as upset as we were having to put him down. But it was for the best. Today I received a Christmas ornament that has Mylo's paw print on it and a card from everyone in the office. This is the only thing I have from Mylo so thank you! To everyone in the office, all the Dr's, all the nurses I want you to know how much I appreciate you all!! You are amazing at your job and my animals love you!! We love you! Thank you for always going above and beyond!!

From the front desk, to the techs, to the docs and every staff member I've encountered, I've always been proud to have them as our vet's office. But this past week they were extra amazing! Our 6 year old boy (dog, Wallaby) went into crisis and went downhill very quickly, barely giving us time to get him there. But as soon as they saw him they all pitched in and went above and beyond SUPERBLY and correctly diagnosed and treated him, both physically and emotionally. And they insured nonstop, wonderful care was given even when we had to transfer him to the hospital when they closed. Dr. Becca and Dr. Ashley are absolutely amazing. (I've always loved each doctor we've seen there in the past years). I truly believe our sweet boy really would not have made it. The environment, attitude, care, and treatment is beyond what you could possibly hope for. Thanks for saving our baby and making sure he was as comfortable as possible and for emotionally supporting us through such a stressful event. Y'all filled our hearts with joy and we appreciate your compassion greatly. We cannot thank you all enough! -The Pessoney Family

They miss diagnosed my puppy which caused much pain and suffering for the puppy. They said they wouldn't have treated her any differently due to the cost of tests they don't routinely do. For the price that was paid the test that would have found the problem was paid for several times.

Very knowledgable, kind, and helpful! :) the visit was quick and successful! I will definitely be coming back again with my other pets! They saw my tiny Yellow Bellied Slider turtle today, and were able to help us very much! So if you have a reptile or amphibian that needs to be seen, give them a call and make an appointment with them! The price for first-time visitors is $25, and $50 beyond that point :) will be back again soon!

When we first moved to this new town, our dog got sick because he got into our garbage can (naughty dog!), we were able to secure an appointment right away at the Valley Animal Hospital. We are so glad that we went to them because they were very thorough with our dog and gave very good instructions for treating him. (Better instructions than we have received from doctor's procedures for our kids!) The office even called us a couple of times to check to see how the medicines were working. Our dog was better in days.We later sent our dog to the pet resort for a two night stay. He seemed very happy. When we tried to send him there again, they were booked. So we took him to another kennel (which turned out to be a not so great place for our dog.) Lesson learned, next time we need to go out of town, we will book a reservation asap. (Note that Sunday pick-up from the pet resort is a very limited afternoon time frame, so be prepared for a line.)Friendly staff all around. I highly recommend both vet and boarding services.

The first visit and check up was great! Our dog was happy and the vet was great, she was friendly and great with my daughter too. The second visit, this vet seemed aloof, or maybe she had long day, just wasnt very friendly and explained things like I was a 6 year old. We used our free nail clipping. She seemed a little rough on him. He whimpered and she continued to clip, not to my surprise she cut his quick. I know we all have our days, I will make sure we get the first vet we saw next time.

I recently adopted an eight year old cat and was given little information about her overall health history. I chose valley animal because of the proximity to my apartment. When I called the office was super helpful in answering my questions and offered a saturday appointment, which was convenient for me as I work 8-5. The website featured a coupon for a free initial exam for new clients, which I think is awesome. When we arrived, we were lead into a private room immediately so I didn't have to worry about my terrified kitty being accosted by energetic dogs. Dr. Wendi was friendly and answered all of my new pet parent questions. She followed up with me both by mail and phone and I feel like she genuinely cares about my cat and her health. I was also informed of all costs before services were performed, which I appreciate.

Good animal hospital. I believe there are at least 3 vets on staff with numerous assistants. Very friendly and knowledgeable. All of the staff knows our dog's name as soon as she prances in. Good pet resort. Jasper (our dog) always leaves happy and doesn't mind going to the "puppy spa". Usually has places open for last minute boardings. The only negative is pricing. They seem to be a bit higher than most around town, but they do appear to offer better service...so you get what you pay for.

The dogs are kept in little kennels and only get 2 walks a day, which this "resort" actually prides themselves on. For a fee, your dog can stay in a larger kennel with a cot. Sometimes the dogs are allowed to socialize in an area outside, but only for a small amount of time. I only brought my dog here for a second time because I absolutely had to, but I definitely will not be bringing her hack to HSV if this is the standard of care for a "resort." Valley, take some time to review the way dogs are kept in the 21st century by visiting the website below. Dogs are left to play all day in an area, what an idea! Also, the owners can look in on their dogs via live webcam at any time. I felt so bad leaving my pup here for even 4 hours... wagalot.com/services_day…

The staff here is super friendly and it's clear they care about animals. I was pet sitting for fiends when their puppy had an emergency. The staff got her in as quickly as they could (knowing the situation was not life threatening at that point) and did all the could to keep the puppy comfortable while letting us (I was keeping my friends updated) know what we could and should do for the puppies sake going forward.

This is the wonderful vet practice I continually come back to for all of my furry animals. Every person that works here seems to genuinely care and I am completely comfortable when I have to leave my pet for a procedure that requires sedation. Important for me is that this business has had little staff turnover since we have been using their services over the years, the mark of an exceptional employer.

Service has gone done hill. They are by far the most expensive and so should be able to treat animals with the best care. They miss diagnosed my puppy which caused much pain and suffering for the puppy. They said they wouldn't have treated her any differently due to the cost of tests they don't routinely do. For the price that was paid the test that would have found the problem was paid for several times.

Very knowledgable, kind, and helpful! :) the visit was quick and successful! I will definitely be coming back again with my other pets! They saw my tiny Yellow Bellied Slider turtle today, and were able to help us very much! So if you have a reptile or amphibian that needs to be seen, give them a call and make an appointment with them! The price for first-time visitors is $25, and $50 beyond that point :) will be back again soon!

When we first moved to this new town, our dog got sick because he got into our garbage can (naughty dog!), we were able to secure an appointment right away at the Valley Animal Hospital. We are so glad that we went to them because they were very thorough with our dog and gave very good instructions for treating him. (Better instructions than we have received from doctor's procedures for our kids!) The office even called us a couple of times to check to see how the medicines were working. Our dog was better in days.We later sent our dog to the pet resort for a two night stay. He seemed very happy. When we tried to send him there again, they were booked. So we took him to another kennel (which turned out to be a not so great place for our dog.) Lesson learned, next time we need to go out of town, we will book a reservation asap. (Note that Sunday pick-up from the pet resort is a very limited afternoon time frame, so be prepared for a line.)Friendly staff all around. I highly recommend both vet and boarding services.

The first visit and check up was great! Our dog was happy and the vet was great, she was friendly and great with my daughter too. The second visit, this vet seemed aloof, or maybe she had long day, just wasnt very friendly and explained things like I was a 6 year old. We used our free nail clipping. She seemed a little rough on him. He whimpered and she continued to clip, not to my surprise she cut his quick. I know we all have our days, I will make sure we get the first vet we saw next time.

Excellent clinic with caring competent vets and staff. Prices very competitive with lesser vet clinics. Wish I'd found Valley years ago. I'd recommend to anyone.

I recently adopted an eight year old cat and was given little information about her overall health history. I chose valley animal because of the proximity to my apartment. When I called the office was super helpful in answering my questions and offered a saturday appointment, which was convenient for me as I work 8-5. The website featured a coupon for a free initial exam for new clients, which I think is awesome. When we arrived, we were lead into a private room immediately so I didn't have to worry about my terrified kitty being accosted by energetic dogs. Dr. Wendi was friendly and answered all of my new pet parent questions. She followed up with me both by mail and phone and I feel like she genuinely cares about my cat and her health. I was also informed of all costs before services were performed, which I appreciate.

Good animal hospital. I believe there are at least 3 vets on staff with numerous assistants. Very friendly and knowledgeable. All of the staff knows our dog's name as soon as she prances in. Good pet resort. Jasper (our dog) always leaves happy and doesn't mind going to the "puppy spa". Usually has places open for last minute boardings. The only negative is pricing. They seem to be a bit higher than most around town, but they do appear to offer better service...so you get what you pay for.

The dogs are kept in little kennels and only get 2 walks a day, which this "resort" actually prides themselves on. For a fee, your dog can stay in a larger kennel with a cot. Sometimes the dogs are allowed to socialize in an area outside, but only for a small amount of time. I only brought my dog here for a second time because I absolutely had to, but I definitely will not be bringing her hack to HSV if this is the standard of care for a "resort." Valley, take some time to review the way dogs are kept in the 21st century by visiting the website below. Dogs are left to play all day in an area, what an idea! Also, the owners can look in on their dogs via live webcam at any time. I felt so bad leaving my pup here for even 4 hours... wagalot.com/services_day…
