What can I say about Dr. Petras that has not already been said here? She is a godsend, a born animal lover. Her training and education merely helped her become the most incredible version of what she was already perfectly suited for and who she was born to be. We took our little angel to her and in the darkest moment of our lives, she expressed such genuine empathy for us and such loving compassion for him. We commended him into her capable and tender hands without any hesitation. I truly believe she lets every patient into her heart. We were overwhelmed and so touched by our experience here. Our hearts ache for our sweet angel, but they swell and soar when we think of the beautiful staff at Grants Mill Animal Hospital and the care and consideration we received as clients and patient. I don't know if I could ever trust anyone else to care for an animal I love, but certainly I will never love another animal that I would not trust with Dr. Petras and the wonderful techs and staff at Grants Mill.

My first meeting with her was not under the best circumstances and she and her staff took care of me and my baby girl, Lucie Lou (8yr old yellow lab), like we were family. Dr. Petras took in and is working with me to get a stray cat from an apartment complex vetted and fixed. I have never met a more caring, down-to-earth vet! A wonderful man named Mr. Weber ( also a veterinarian) said that a lot of vets today are graduating school with a hole in their hearts where compassion should be, and I have had a hard time finding a vet that is affordable and caring and honestly loves animals. Dr. Lindsey has been wonderful in the short time I've known her and the office staff. They HONESTLY care more about your pets than just making money, and it's a great feeling! The facility was spotless, clean, and very animal friendly! I HIGHLY recommend them!

Dr. Petras is an incredible Vet! Highly knowledgeable, down to earth, superb in everything that she does and is a fantastic surgeon. Facility is top of the line and everything is new, clean, and high quality. Pets are treated to a friendly and excellent staff and are given fantastic care! My puppy has never returned from the Vet looking better and her surgery and recovery were perfect. Pets and runs are kept clean and orderly, none of the issues I've dealt with in the past with previous vets whose staff were untrustworthy and who failed to take care of my dog or her belongings. Prices are very fair and service is held to the highest standards. I have been to numerous vets all around Birmingham and Grants Mill has been the best by far. You can tell Dr. Petras is a Vet that cares! HIGHLY recommend and my puppy loves it there!

Dr. Petras has taken care of my dogs for several years now and I was very happy when she opened her own clinic. You get a feeling from ALL of the team that they care about the pets and their owners. Dr. Petras performed emergency surgery on one of my Scotties and the only reason I felt at ease was because of her. The waiting room is relaxing with comfortable seating and coffee. Definitely feels like going to a concierge doctor.

Hands down the best veterinarian around. Not only does she love my baby, but she has taken the time and effort to get the best help for my Maggie. And to guide our family in the next steps of her future treatments. Dr Petras is amazing!

Dr Petras is the best vet in Birmingham!! She goes above and beyond to make sure your pet is taken care of. Her prices are beyond reasonable and she's willing to work with you on emergency visits. There staff offer the best customer service. So far I've converted 6 friends to Dr Petras and I'm going to continue to send as many customers as possible her way. Everyone deserves to know they have a vet they can trust to love their pet as much as they do.

What can I say about Dr. Petras that has not already been said here? She is a godsend, a born animal lover. Her training and education merely helped her become the most incredible version of what she was already perfectly suited for and who she was born to be. We took our little angel to her and in the darkest moment of our lives, she expressed such genuine empathy for us and such loving compassion for him. We commended him into her capable and tender hands without any hesitation. I truly believe she lets every patient into her heart. We were overwhelmed and so touched by our experience here. Our hearts ache for our sweet angel, but they swell and soar when we think of the beautiful staff at Grants Mill Animal Hospital and the care and consideration we received as clients and patient. I don't know if I could ever trust anyone else to care for an animal I love, but certainly I will never love another animal that I would not trust with Dr. Petras and the wonderful techs and staff at Grants Mill.

She is very patient, takes the time to explain everything and answers any questions you may have, is very friendly, down to earth and personable and most importantly, sees you and your pets as people and their loved ones/family not as a means to make $$$. Service prices are very very reasonable and Saturday hours available.

Love love love Dr. Petras and her staff! My first meeting with her was not under the best circumstances and she and her staff took care of me and my baby girl, Lucie Lou (8yr old yellow lab), like we were family. Lucie crossed the rainbow bridge that day, but Dr. Petras did everything she could. I am forever grateful to have found an awesome, caring vet. As long as I am in the birmingham area, I will always take my babies to her.

Dr. Petras took in and is working with me to get a stray cat from an apartment complex vetted and fixed. I have never met a more caring, down-to-earth vet! A wonderful man named Mr. Weber ( also a veterinarian) said that a lot of vets today are graduating school with a hole in their hearts where compassion should be, and I have had a hard time finding a vet that is affordable and caring and honestly loves animals. Dr. Lindsey has been wonderful in the short time I've known her and the office staff. They HONESTLY care more about your pets than just making money, and it's a great feeling! The facility was spotless, clean, and very animal friendly! I HIGHLY recommend them!

Dr. Petras is an incredible Vet! Highly knowledgeable, down to earth, superb in everything that she does and is a fantastic surgeon. Facility is top of the line and everything is new, clean, and high quality. Pets are treated to a friendly and excellent staff and are given fantastic care! My puppy has never returned from the Vet looking better and her surgery and recovery were perfect. Pets and runs are kept clean and orderly, none of the issues I've dealt with in the past with previous vets whose staff were untrustworthy and who failed to take care of my dog or her belongings. Prices are very fair and service is held to the highest standards. I have been to numerous vets all around Birmingham and Grants Mill has been the best by far. You can tell Dr. Petras is a Vet that cares! HIGHLY recommend and my puppy loves it there!

Dr. Petras has taken care of my dogs for several years now and I was very happy when she opened her own clinic. You get a feeling from ALL of the team that they care about the pets and their owners. Dr. Petras performed emergency surgery on one of my Scotties and the only reason I felt at ease was because of her. The waiting room is relaxing with comfortable seating and coffee. Definitely feels like going to a concierge doctor.
