I picked my dog up from Leeds Pet Clinic after 3 nights of boarding. She was filthy dirty (I paid for a bath), lethargic, dehydrated, had severe dyharrea, they clipped her back nails (did not clip front) so short that they continued to bleed pools of blood on a towel over her bedding, for a solid week; also never asked for her nails to be trimmed. Had to leave her nice bed, because they said she messed all in it. It was in the washer when I picked her up. I told them to keep it; you cannot get the smell out. And this is a dog that has never, ever done anything in the house, and in her own bed, would be unheard of. They returned two measured portions of food with her. I sent exactly enough food for the duration of her stay, which means she was not fed for 1 day. She did not sleep for 14 solid hours after I picked her up. I picked her up at noon and she did not close her eyes and sleep until 2:00 a.m. the following morning. I nursed her back to health for the following 3 days... feeding her boiled chicken and broth. I have left numerous messages for Dr. Darche, even talked to one of her family members. To this day I have not gotten a call from Dr. Darche, or an apology, or a refund, nothing. It is very disturbing. Especially the fact that when I picked my dog up from boarding, there was no mention that my dog was deathly ill. Had I waited another day to pick her up from Leeds Pet Clinic, I am pretty confident that she would not have been alive. She is a 90 pound angel, full of love and joy. I would have been terribly upset to lose her over pure neglect. Read Less
