A few years ago I took a female cat to be fix, no problem. It was a wonderful experience..... however, that was YEARS AGO. I now have a family of cats and in an attempt to keep the fur baby population down in my home I took my adult male cat to be fixed. He was dropped off at the appropriate time and they said they would call when he was ready to come home. After a few hours I got nervous and called them. I was told his surgery was being delayed because the vet had issues that morning. Thats fine, since I wasn't going to pick him up till about 5 pm anyway due to work. Come close to 4 and home time so I called. They said he would be ready on my way by. So I stopped.... he had not even had the surgery yet. They said he would have it and be ready about 6, so I went ahead and paid them. I called at 6 they said give them 30 more minutes... about 10 minutes later they are blowing up the phone to come get him, I live 6 minutes away and they called me twice. When I get there to pick him up they said he had to have a flee pill and that would be extra (which is fine, I knew he had a flee or two).... my question was why did they not know he needed the flee pill before I paid at 5 pm after they had him ALL DAY. Then I saw my baby. He was so messed up on the meds he could not stand, he couldn't even hold his head up. I was concerned, but I had such a positive experience the last time so I blew it off and made another appointment for another male cat. That was scheduled for today. He was dropped off at 10 am and my Mom was told they would call me because he would have to stay over night. Why all of a sudden does he has to stay? I called and asked why they would be keeping him, and if that was included in the price previous stated. The recipient said "it will be a fee for him to stay here, but we require all pets spend the night after being fixed for observation. So why now all of a sudden do they have to spend the night? Why was that not discussed earlier? Why didnt you offer to keep the other cat all night who needed to stay, the one that has never been the same? The one that you sent home in a drug induced coma? It makes no since why you would take advantage of a person who is just trying to give their pet the best medical attention they can afford. This vet is a sham. Read Less

I picked my dog up from Leeds Pet Clinic after 3 nights of boarding. She was filthy dirty (I paid for a bath), lethargic, dehydrated, had severe dyharrea, they clipped her back nails (did not clip front) so short that they continued to bleed pools of blood on a towel over her bedding, for a solid week; also never asked for her nails to be trimmed. Had to leave her nice bed, because they said she messed all in it. It was in the washer when I picked her up. I told them to keep it; you cannot get the smell out. And this is a dog that has never, ever done anything in the house, and in her own bed, would be unheard of. They returned two measured portions of food with her. I sent exactly enough food for the duration of her stay, which means she was not fed for 1 day. She did not sleep for 14 solid hours after I picked her up. I picked her up at noon and she did not close her eyes and sleep until 2:00 a.m. the following morning. I nursed her back to health for the following 3 days... feeding her boiled chicken and broth. I have left numerous messages for Dr. Darche, even talked to one of her family members. To this day I have not gotten a call from Dr. Darche, or an apology, or a refund, nothing. It is very disturbing. Especially the fact that when I picked my dog up from boarding, there was no mention that my dog was deathly ill. Had I waited another day to pick her up from Leeds Pet Clinic, I am pretty confident that she would not have been alive. She is a 90 pound angel, full of love and joy. I would have been terribly upset to lose her over pure neglect. Read Less
