I moved here from FL and took my cat to Best Friends Animal Hospital. I chose them because they have Saturday hours and are also close to my home. They were WONDERFUL with her. She has had a terrible problem itching her face and has almost no hair around your eyes, mouth, and chin. She has rubbed all of her whiskers off. They immediately attributed it to a food allergy (no other vets in 3 years have ever mentioned it being due to food allergy). We are working with her food to see if we can improve. She also got her teeth cleaned and they were wonderful about keeping me informed during and after her procedure. They even called the next day to check to see how she was doing. I'm very glad I chose this team!

Dr. Racellis and the staff were always very caring and compassionate about our big fluffy dog George and making sure he got the best treatment. We love those guys.

This is by far the best vet clinic I have ever been to. The staff is so friendly and helpful. Dr. Racalis is the most amazing Veterinarian! He takes time to explain things and discuss options and he is so friendly. I won't take my dog anywhere else. Highly recommend Best Friends, they're amazing.

The hardest thing we had to do was put our dog down because of cancer. We are forever grateful for the doctor and staff that shared our hurt and made Luke's last day with us as restful as possible. Thank you. I know your job cannot be easy. But from the bottom of our hearts, thank you for helping us ensure Luke never suffered. We will love our memories and miss him.

We've taken all of our pets here since the move to Alabama over seven years ago. Dr Racelis and staff have been super through two cats getting very sick and eventually saying goodbye. They have also been excellent care takers to our rambuncious dog Hurley! I would recommend this place to everyone!

My dog has been coming here for about six years, even before I adopted her! They took such great care of her before she came into my life, and they continue to do an exceptional job! The staff is friendly, knowledgable, helpful, and just wonderful. Dr. Racelis is an amazing vet and for as long as I live in this area my pets won't step foot in another vet's office bc they won't get the same quality care anywhere else. Do yourself a favour and bring your fur babies to Best Friends!

Dr. Racelis and his staff @ Best Friends have been our place of choice for over 8yrs. Both of our chihuahua's, Heidi & Casper have been taken care of with kid gloves since 8-9wks of age. This past Sept, our sweet Heidi, was diagnosed with End Stage Heart Failure, literally out of the blue. The guidance and care regimen, along with the help of Dr. Racelis, and management of multiple meds was so greatly appreciated. My family & I are forever grateful, and 2wks ago, on Jan. 24, 2017 (only 4mos since her diagnosis) when it was my sweet Heidi's last day, I feel that Dr. Racelis and his staff showed great empathy, as if, they were losing their own family member. I can never repay them the kindness & gentleness they displayed as Heidi was put down. I know that she did not suffer. We will love and miss her forever, but I'd completely recommend this Animal Hospital to anyone that has pets as their family member.

I moved here from FL and took my cat to Best Friends Animal Hospital. I chose them because they have Saturday hours and are also close to my home. They were WONDERFUL with her.
