I took my dog here for a broken nail. They took her back and explained the would fix the nail. That was all that was said the next day i take the bandage off when they said to. And because she starts limping really bad. And i found that the end of her toe was cut off. They never said not once that they were going to cut the end of her toe off. Brought my 2 year old dog in twice in 2 weeks for vomiting. Doctors perscribed medication the first time and the medications did not work. Brought her in the second time explaining my concerns about an obstruction. Doctor did X-rays and blood work and still could not find anything. Prescribed the same medication again. Took my dog to pet hospital of Madison and immediacy after looking at whitworths X-rays and doing one of their own the doctor informed me there was an obstruction. Now 4 weeks with a sick dog and 2200 dollars later the obstruction was in there for so long that she might not make it through the procedure. I would advise not going to whitworth animal clinic. This is the best vet office, boarding clinic and grooming services you will find in the area, hands down! Piper and Wimblie, my two dogs, are always so well taken care of! We board them several times a year and the staff is so personable, friendly, professional, and knowledgeable with me and my pets. My dogs never lose weight when they are boarded here and are completely comfortable and they never stink when we pick them up either! My pug was in awful pain. Wasn't sure if she had broken her paw or just hurt it. We showed up early for our appointment, were seen right away and they didn't insist on unnecessary X-rays or the like. I was a volunteer for Dr. Whitworth when he first opened his clinic and both me and my mom have been longtime customers. What prompted this review is that the staff was genuinely concerned about my mother's well-being (she is elderly and lives alone) after a phone call and made the effort to contact me and let me know about their concerns. A friendly, informed and kind staff and doctor. We had our dogs teeth cleaned and their service was exceptional! A very fair price considering our normal vet was going to charge $300 more to do the same cleaning. I highly recommend their services! Read Less

Stay away from this place!!! It's all about the money and I felt like the vet (who never even introduced himself) was so fake and phony. My kitten checked out perfectly, yet they want to do all the same tests in 3 weeks just to be sure. That makes no sense except to be able to charge me another $119.00. Soon after walking in the office manager came out and treated the receptionist horribly because she had made a scheduling error. I wish I had walked out then. If they don't respect one another then there's not much chance they will respect my pet when I'm not there to look out for her. They can keep all their samples and pretty folders with charts.
