I have been using this animal hospital since Dr. Parker opened his doors at the previous location across from the new Dollar General way back in the day. I wouldn't and won't take my pets anywhere else because I don't trust anyone else, they have spoiled me that much thank goodness. The faces may have changed over the many years, but the level of service and down right commitment to the health and well being of animals has and I don't think will ever change. Just great people taking care of our four legged family members. I really can't say enough. If I could give these fine people a higher rating than five stars, I would. Ark has been taking care of my two furbabies for over a year now. Every time I walk in, the staff are attentive and detailed. It also seems like they love what they do! The doctors are all really nice and the facility is really clean. My puppy hates the cold operating tables they have in each exam room but he gets a treat from the doc every time he has to put up with it. Read Less

We've been going to the Ark for nearly 30 years. They've always provided outstanding care to our animals. We've had everything from initial visits to euthanasia when that time came. They love animals and feel like part of the family, especially Dr. Day. The prices are very reasonable. From talking with my neighbors, I'd say the prices are the best in the area. Read Less

Great all-around vet care. As a DoD member, I'm eligible to use the facilities on Maxwell, about 10 miles away, but I prefer to come here because the vets and staff actually seem to care about my dog, and take great care of her. I had questions about her medication, and the vet techs and vet were very generous in answering them, and making sure that she got better. Definitely recommended! Read Less

They do great care for animals and are very good with customer service as well. They are also best for there prices as we have priced many. We have only used them since we have been in Alabama and they were great with our dog when we found out he had cancer and had to have it removed. We love the care they give and the fact that they truly care about the animals and our feelings and questions. Read Less

Warm, inviting vet office. Gorgeous front office...interesting to see the other animals coming in, and the little kittens for adoption. Usually not a long wait, and the checkups/shots are pretty quick. The prices are usually par for the course where vets are concerned. Read Less

I would highly recommend the Ark. Great group, they have taken care of my Sheltie for 18 years and counting. Some of the most caring people you will ever meet, especially Dr. Day. And they don't charge a fortune and try to sell you the latest dog trend or treat. Read Less

They have awesome vets there that care about your pets as much as you do. One of our dogs passed away the end of February and they sent me a card saying that they were sorry for my loss. I have never known a vets office to do that. Read Less

The ark staff is very very rude. The doctors are also very ignorant. In the past we had a dog that was misdiagnosed and ended up dying. They beat around the bush about treating our animals and have to send everything off to Montgomery to get analyzed and by the time they get results back its too late. I would not recommend this vet office to anyone. You have been warned. Read Less
