Disappointed in the professional service offered by this clinic. I can't speak to the quality of medical care because I was denied care at the desk for not having an appointment. The website advertises same day accommodations, but instead I was told it would be best if I visited one of the area's emergency vets as they already had a full schedule. I wasn't even offered an appointment on another date. I work at a medical clinic and we primarily deal with NON-emergent situations, yet we always strive to work patients in. It's shameful this staff can look at a dog needing care and then turn them away. I understand that it gets busy and it can be difficult to see everyone, but the company should work to revise their policies in regards to walk-ins and same day appointments if the clinic is not going to help patients find a compromise.

My dog is with Banfield over 8 years with 2 dogs and today i had an emergency. Her anal glands are severely infected and she can not poop and will not eat and is in a lot of pain. i tried to get a schedule for today to get Antibiotics because i tried to express glands myself but all i got out was a tiny bit of very sick pus. Banfield Hospital told me they just have one vet, because one called in ill, and she can not come today.Having worked for 25 years in the health business as a pediatric nurse my understanding is to call someone in when you can not take proper care of patients and i do not care if it is a human or an animal that is suffering.

Ive been to the Spanish Fort location a couple of times and I will NOT be back! I first took my sick pet there and everything from the girls up front to the vet were unhelpful. I was shocked that these people are in the business of caring for animals. I even got a rude phone call a few months later after my pet passed advising me to bring her in for a visit. When I informed the girl she passed her response was in a tacky way "Oh, okay, sorry" and that was it! I was thinking to myself WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE?? After a few years have passed since then I advised my boyfriend to pick up some flea medication since he worked so close and they advised they have to see the pet...What the??? Ive shopped for flea medicine in a few different cities and states and NO ONE has ever asked to see my pet! Again, a disappointing experience from Banfield. Oh and as for the free vet visit on your first visit...that's B.S. too...I went on specified day to see if I could save a little bit of money in case my dog needed medications etc. They never gave it to me...this place is terrible. Please dont waste your time or your pets valuable health on this vet place. I will never, ever, ever go back here! Thanks for nothing Banfield!
