Dr. Gotthelf, Carol, and Everyone at Animal Hospital have bent over backwards helping me with the care of my beautiful Himalayans. The groomer.....Kayla....sp??... it outstanding. My boys looked so cute after their Lion's Cut. Really do not understand the negative reviews. Part of the responsibility of owning an animal is realizing there will be times when we will have to do all we can do to help our little companions to live a long, happy, wonderful life, and part of that includes having to pay for the expenses of their care when they get old. If you love your pet. Do not go here.. I brung my puppy and she had worms. he told me it was worms that wasn't going to harm her and gave her some meds and that was it. She never gained weight and she died a couple of months later. And my 2nd dog I'll just say she died a couple of days after seeing him. RIP ROXXIE AND PRINCESS Read Less

The male vet Dr G as they call him is pretty good. The reception staff is rude and I was pretty concerned about the fact that the vet didn't want to look at two of my dogs previous medical records considering that one has seizures and the other has had liver issues. They are really good with medication refills etc, only reason for the three stars. We've moved recently and are now further away so perfect time to find a new vet.Read Less

Most (if not all) of the negative reviews here are people with an ax to grind so instead of being responsible & rational, they take out their frustration on Dr. Lou because either: A) Their pet died and Dr Lou was not a miracle worker, B) They are broke, and/or C) They were fired. If you love your fur babies DO NOT go here. My 6 yr old dog became violently ill overnight, I rushed him to this " hospital" as they were opening. As I walked to the door carrying my best friend, who was very lethargic, the lady unlocked the door, looked at me, and walked behind the counter. She did not even open the door for me despite the obvious bundle in my arms. They gave me paperwork, and took him away without letting me say goodbye as if I was bothering them. I called that afternoon to check on him, and they said he was still on IV and would be overnight, which led me to believe that he at least had not gotten worse. I never heard from a " doctor" until the next morning, when he coldly called to say he had not survived the night and what would we like to do with him. I called later to say we would be there to take him home. When I arrived, they made sure to make me pay for " services rendered" before giving me his body, which come to find out had been put in a trash bag, I understand that he needed to be contained in case of contagion, but I expected at least a medical waste bag. I never once saw a doctor, except for when he he passed by the hall as I was crying while signing my card receipt, and he never said a word. I still do not know what happen to dog, and they made no attempt to give me compassion or closure . Read Less

This is a unbelievably good Vet! We are in town short term and our dog was suddenly jumping up from a dead sleep and looking at her butt. She was also in a lot of pain. We had no idea what it could be! We looked online and choose here because they seemed caring and had good reviews. The vet saw her and checked her and immediately found the problem. She had an inpaction of popcorn! LOL! Crazy I know! And the poor thing was suffering! They got her all fixed up quickly and we left there with the popcorn gone, her nails clipped and her heartworm meds for under 100.00! That's a bargain! They were very kind and loving to our popcorn eating dog. I would highly, highly recommend them! Read Less
