Outstanding Staff. They always work with us because we have an outside cat that is not always available when you try to schedule an appointment for a checkup. If she shows up in the mornings, we catch her and bring her in for her exam. If she does not show up, we cancel and select another day to catch her until we can get her in for her annual esam and shots.

If you are looking for a place that truly cares for you and your animal, this is the place. We only came here for a short time but visited way more than we would have liked. We ultimately had to put our beloved german shepherd of 10+years down. The veterinarians and staff were beyond accommodating through our tough time. When i received a hand-written note after her passing, it solidified how I already felt about them. Everyone one here is absolutely dedicated to you and your pet. I will not use another facility as long as i live in the river region.

Taking my pet to Blue Ridge animal Clinic for his appointments gives me peace of mind. I know they love and care about his well-being, and do everything the can to give him the treatment he needs. That being said, I also know their pricing is better that most vets in the area and they aren’t going to give my dog unnecessary treatments/tests just to make money.
They have always loved on my baby and given him the best care! We love Blue Ridge!

I moved to Florida and found the vets are all about money, not the pets care. Blue Ridge puts the fur babies first and always tells you what is best for your pet. They work with you and Don't run unnecessary test. I continue to drive 3 hours (6 hours round trip) for all my pets needs. I have been using Blue Ridge for 15 years and will continue to use them. They are the best.

I've taking my dogs to Blue Ridge Animal clinic since 10 years ago. I added two more dogs five years ago. They are very helpful and responsible. They go the extra mile to help you with your pets. Even if they are busy, they will work your pet in. Caring vet and staff, so helpful to accommodate the medical needs of my pets and emergency situations too. It was Dr. Brooks first and now is Dr. Busby, and the manager Elizabeth, who has been there for many years. I am very satisfied and I would not take my pets anywhere else.

We've been using Blue Ridge for over 10 years, they truly care about not only the animals, but their owners as well. Dr. Brooks (now retired) was wonderful, and Dr. Busby is super awesome, we won't take our animals anywhere else.
I kinda have a problem with the negative reviews on here, it seems that some people aren't getting their butts smooched enough by the staff. Guess what? They're BUSY. They've always worked us in when we had a problem, and yes, we've had to drop a pet off if we don't have an appointment (oh, THE HORROR!). That's what happens sometimes....but they have always taken care of our pets as if they were their own, and they really do care about every pet that comes through.

Found our puppy not being able to put any pressure on her back, right leg. My wife called and the lady told her they didn't have any appointments for that day but we could bring the dog up there and they would put her in a cage and "try" to work her in. My wife asked if she could wait with her in the lobby and the lady said "no" because you don't have an appointment. The dog doesn't have a cold, it can't walk. We called other vets who told us to bring the dog in, we can wait with her, and the would get her today. We were a client of Blue Ridge for 2 years, well, not anymore. I highly recommend going elsewhere. Poor customer service., bottom line. Our dog is a member of our family but she is just a number to Blue Ridge.

They are very kind and patient on the phone and in person. The staff and the vet were always more than remarkable, knowledgeable, and affordable. When our dog passed away of cancer they were very understanding and even sent a card to us. The last time I came here with my two children. They had a nice time playing with a toy vet set they brought out. They have animals there at the clinic that my children and I enjoyed seeing. We will really miss this vet as we recently moved out of state.

My husband has used this vet for years and they have treated him well. I, on the other hand, have been demeaned, embarrassed, and outraged by the office manager. When we took a longtime pet to be put to sleep Elizabeth was sarcastic and ugly to me-on a very difficult day for my husband and myself. We recently received a card to bring in one our other dogs for his rabies vaccine. He was put to sleep at THAT clinic and they had him cremated for us. This particular dog was extremely difficult for my husband to lose. He might take his ashes to them so the rabies shot can be given. Sure can't take any chances I guess. Needless to say, I will take all of our animals in the future to my vets-Drs Cavanaugh and Bradley. They have been nothing but caring and compassionate to me, including the office staff!! They also make house calls when necessary. Absolutely awesome!!

Taking my pet to Blue Ridge animal Clinic for his appointments gives me peace of mind. I know they love and care about his well-being, and do everything the can to give him the treatment he needs. Found our puppy not being able to put any pressure on her back, right leg. My wife called and the lady told her they didn't have any appointments for that day but we could bring the dog up there and they would put her in a cage and "try" to work her in. My wife asked if she could wait with her in the lobby and the lady said "no" because you don't have an appointment. The dog doesn't have a cold, it can't walk. We called other vets who told us to bring the dog in, we can wait with her, and the would get her today. We were a client of Blue Ridge for 2 years, well, not anymore. I highly recommend going elsewhere. Poor customer service., bottom line. Our dog is a member of our family but she is just a number to Blue Ridge.

They are very kind and patient on the phone and in person. The staff and the vet were always more than remarkable, knowledgeable, and affordable. When our dog passed away of cancer they were very understanding and even sent a card to us. The last time I came here with my two children. They had a nice time playing with a toy vet set they brought out. They have animals there at the clinic that my children and I enjoyed seeing. We will really miss this vet as we recently moved out of state.

My husband has used this vet for years and they have treated him well. I, on the other hand, have been demeaned, embarrassed, and outraged by the office manager. When we took a longtime pet to be put to sleep Elizabeth was sarcastic and ugly to me-on a very difficult day for my husband and myself. We recently received a card to bring in one our other dogs for his rabies vaccine. He was put to sleep at THAT clinic and they had him cremated for us. This particular dog was extremely difficult for my husband to lose. He might take his ashes to them so the rabies shot can be given. Sure can't take any chances I guess. Needless to say, I will take all of our animals in the future to my vets-Drs Cavanaugh and Bradley. They have been nothing but caring and compassionate to me, including the office staff!! They also make house calls when necessary. Absolutely awesome!!
