I took my dog because I found a lump. The took her and told me they would call me when they were done, I didn't even get to talk to the vet about my concerns  and see what they did...and this was my first visit at this location. When they called me they told me she had a mammary tumor and that it was caused by not being spayed. They gave me an estimated cost of about $1000 to have her spayed and remove the tumor. I decided to drive her 2 hours to my hometown vet and the first thing the vet did was squeeze the lump and milk came out. It wasbt a tumor, just a milk gland. Because I didn't even get to go back with her at MVA I don't even know if they tried this or just automatically told me the worst because they wanted my money. I ended up getting her spayed, her teeth cleaned, and they checked the lump again when they spayed her and i only spent $160. I will not be going back to this location and I would suggest you all get a second opinion before they guilt you into thinking you caused breast cancer and make you spend $1000. Also, make sure you find an office that actually allows you to speak to the vet, especially on your first visit to the office when they know nothing about your dog. Read Less

Cade and the entire MVA team have been absolutely phenomenal when we had to have a knee surgery done on our very large breed dog. She is older and sensitive to anesthesia, but there were no problems at all, and a week after the surgery she is bearing weight and walking around. In addition to the great results from the surgery, we had a few little "concerns" on whether x behavior was normal or if we should do something, both times we called in we were almost immediately connected with The vet who performed the surgery and he was able to offer us solutions over the phone for both problems. I highly recommend this practice, for everything from daily check ups to major orthopedic surgeries. We live in New York City, and still fly our dog to Alabama whenever it is something we are significantly concerned about and want the best possible care. Read Less

This is a nice, clean, veterinary clinic. They have grooming, boarding, and veterinary services.We typically take our dog to Petsmart for grooming, however, last time we did the results were not great. We just tried this location for grooming. Read Less
