Taylor Crossing is the best vet in this area! My husband and I drove an hour and a half to take our sick baby to get emergency care! The staff was so friendly and was happy to be there even though it was Valentine's night and they could have been home with their families! Dr. Loch treated my baby with so much love and kindness! She was so understanding and wanted to do whatever she could to make her feel better! I was so sad to have to leave her overnight, but I knew instantly that she would be loved and taken care of! The facilities were top-notch and extremely clean! They even let us go to the back area to tell her good-bye before we left! There is also 24 hour care as someone lives, yes lives, there and watches over the animals through the night! Dr. Loch has already called me twice with an update on her care and told me I was welcome to call anytime to hear from her! This is the best veterinary experience I have ever had! I brought in my 3mo old kitten, who I suspected may have an upper respiratory infection. I love the fact that the two waiting rooms are separated for dogs and cats! I was immediately taken back to the exam room, which had been customized for the comfort of my cat. There was a cat tower/tree, toys, soothing music, and she was free to get out of her carrier and move about which diminished her stress level immensely. Dr. Jessica Loch was incredible and helped walk me through the process of taking care of my little sick kitty! They gave her treats/food to help distract her from her shots, and in the end they sent me home with a "goody bag" for my kitty, which had treats, a little toy, a food measuring cup/can saver, and tons of info on kittens and how to properly care for them. We have definitely found our veterinary home- I have never been to a practice that caters just as much to cats as it does to dogs. I highly recommend this place and Dr. Loch! Read Less

Took my dog for a routine operation, to make a long said story short, he did not survive the operation. While I understand accidents happen, I was was not impressed by the way the vet handled it. The vet was very nonchalant in the way he informed me of my dog passing. To this day I have not been informed of the exact cause of his death. We've been in Montgomery for 4 years and love TCAH! We've used all areas of the practice (surgery, critical care, preventative care, day care and boarding) and they've all been top notch for our 5 dogs! We wouldn't think of going anywhere else! The doctors, technicians and administrative staff always greet us with a smile and know our names, as well as all of the dogs' names! We LOVE Taylor Crossing! My dog loves coming to daycare (when I wake up with enough time to get her there before work). We love boarding our dogs with Taylor Crossing too. When something doesn't go as planned, they always make sure your pet has the best care possible. Horrible Service Brought my cat here for treatment of a condition I already researched and knew he had, but wanted professional confirmation and a recommendation. The vet tech confirmed my suspicions and took my boy to the back room, stating she wanted to get his vitals and weight. After a while she returned him to the front, stating matter-of-factly that she'd already given him the shot as well, without asking me! I had wanted to discuss his treatment options, but no options were given to me. This would never happen with a human child - the doctor would be held accountable for malpractice! My Black Lab had to be seen same day. It ended up she needed immediate knee surgery. Dr Mitchell, the surgeon, explained everything to us. He gave us options. We could not have felt more confident in him and his abilities. Just a wonderful experience under sorrowful circumstances. He and the staff made sure we knew the exact cost and reassured us, at least twice, about everything included for that price. Just wanted to give you guys an update, I got a call from Laurie about offering to bathe and groom Bentley for free since I wasn't satisfied with his first bath. And they were so nice and quick to respond and try to fix the situation. I have to say that I'm 150% impressed with their customer service. I absolutely understand that we are humans and can't be perfect, but I truly appreciate their care to remedy my experience. I am very impressed and highly willing to recommend now. They definitely deserve the 5 star review. I will be taking Bentley in next week. They changed my mind, thank you so much Taylor Crossing! You guys are wonderful!!!!! Original review: "I just picked up my dog after a one night boarding experience at Taylor Crossing, and I'm not as impressed as I thought I would be. I paid for the extra brush out after his bath which cost me $20. As soon as we got home I saw that there was loose hair all over him. I brushed him for a good 10 minutes and got a big handful full of fur. Granted, he is a golden retriever and is quite hairy, but I'm disappointed that I paid an extra $20 for an extensive brush out and my dog came home looking like he hadn't been touched with a brush. I've taken him to petco before and gotten the extra brush out, which cost me about the same price, and he didn't have loose fur for roughly three weeks. He also had some soap residue on his fur from the shampoo not being completely washed out. All in all, I will not be bringing my dog back to Taylor Crossing for any grooming needs, and I'm not sure about any other vet needs either. They also neglected to inform me about needing to get a second flu booster for my dog. He had to get one in order for him to be boarded, but nobody once explained to me that he would need a second shot in a few weeks. Now that one I can't necessarily blame them entirely for, because I very easily could've looked up that information for myself, but I had never even heard of a dog flu shot before trying to board my dog here and they knew that. So I would've appreciated a little more information about it before receiving my bill and seeing that my dog was due for a flu booster in a few short weeks. To be honest, if I would have known that it was going to cost me so much money and be such a hassle, I would have just brought my dog with me on my trip and dealt with that inconvenience. I am disappointed because this was my first time ever boarding my dog, and I'm not sure I'll ever do it again. Left my Champion Lowchen for 10 days in VIP suite. When I picked her up her coat was so matted she was starting to get sores. I spoke with the office manager and expressed my concerns as to how this could have happened and the fact I got no feedback except she ate good and explored the play area. She assured me she would question the necessary employees and have answers for me. Never heard a word back! VIP boarding for 10 days was very expensive. Not only did I have to pay for their required bath which was done two days after she had been professionally groomed, I had to go back to the groomers and spend additional money to have massive matts removed from her entire back down to her feet. For a vet/ boarding establishment that leaves a dog in that condition and will not return a call with an explanation is a place I would never recommend.Read Less

So many wonderful things I could say about Taylor Crossing Animal Hospital!! They truly are the best and I will never take my fur babies anywhere else! Our fur babies are family and trust us to make the best descions for them...I trust every doctor and staff member at this vets office with my fur baby, my family member! I feel safe , comfortable leaving them there should I need to be away with their boarding! We have used this service on occasions and we came home to happy, bathed, well taken care of pets! My pets shared a kennel which we loved since they live together and are the best of friends! Seeing them at pick up was the most rewarding with cute bandannas wrap around them!! I couldn't get enough love or pictures nor could I be any happier!! Thank you Taylor road for the peace of mind knowing they are safe, and happy with you!! We got our dogs as puppies and began using Taylor Crossing! Our Angel and Sam! Chichuah!! Soon Angel had puppies and I was terrified! We had 3at home and Dr Zeb King had to perform an emergency c-section on Angel to save her life! She recovered remarkably and we decided no more puppies for her! Thank you Dr. King and staff Now brings me to another "life saving event in Angels life when she was attacked one night outside or home by a coyote! I have stage 2brain cancer and numerous medical problems and had already went to bed! My grown children took her to a different local vet being scared their selves just trying to get her help asap! They had to pay almost 500$. Upfront and the money was still going into into thousands while her life was laying in the balance! They brought her home for next 3hours for Taylor Road to open we got her in there and immediately Dr. Loch and staff began life saving treatment for her! A fund was set up because of my own health needs we didn't know how to pay for my illness and Angels both a necessity! Many people began calling donating and checking on her from all over! I am still humbled and shocked! I know call everyone who took part in Angels survival and recovery her hero's!!! And mine! I will never be able to say thank you enough!! Angel had many injuries and again needed surgery to repair damage had this surgery not been done her outcome could be so different! But, thanks to the quick and professional opinion of Dr. Loch her and Dr. Zeb King performed surgery! Angel had a long road ahead and has been improving easily thanks to the quick, compassionate, love and generosity giving of doctors, staff and our Angel hero's who donated to Angel to help fund her medical expenses which were also reduced by Dr. Loch as the need was great!! Absolutely LOVE this office. So blessed I chose them. My girlfriends animals are patients at another vet here in Montgomery, and that vet's office does not run 1/10 as smoothly as Taylor Crossing. Very rarely do I wait more than a few minutes before getting into a room, and the doctors are all great! Their staff is excellent; they are always upbeat and glad to see you and your animals. I also use their boarding facilities for my kitties. I almost feel safer leaving them with the TC staff than leaving them with trusted friends or family. I know that when I leave town, loving people are giving my animals love and attention during my absence. What a great feeling. These guys run a well oiled machine with all the right parts. I'm not sure if I've ever been happier with a vet, and that's saying a lot because I have seen and really liked several in previous cities. We just moved to Montgomery a couple of weeks ago. Last Friday our pug, Percy, started to show some signs of serious pain, so I researched vets and found Taylor Crossing. From the getgo everything about this place has been fantastic - they were able to see us same day (even though it was late when I called), took us back to a room immediately, were super friendly, well organized, knowledgable. The office was very clean. I seriously can't say enough good things about them. It turned out our little guy had a pretty serious spinal injury. They kept him overnight, and someone was there with him the whole time. The vet we saw, Dr. King, was fantastic, even coming in to check on our dog (and others) on Saturday. He even called me Monday to check on Percy and see how he was faring on the medication. He and his staff helped talk me through everything I needed to know about Percy's condition, how to care for him, and help him bounce back.I am infinitely grateful for everything Dr. King and his staff have done to help Percy. It's going to make finding a vet after our next move even tougher, but I'm thrilled I get to use them for the next year! Read Less

I don't live in Montgomery but I was 2 hours into a 10 hour drive when my cat produced the trifecta of disgusting bodily functions on himself and my car. I brought him to Taylor Crossing to get a bath so he wouldn't be miserable for the next 8 hours. Everyone was incredibly nice and not at all phased by my mess of a cat. They got him all cleaned up and gave him some medicine to let him have a peaceful ride home. They even gave me some rags and trash bags to clean out my car. If I lived in the area I can guarantee I would take my cat there on a regular basis! Read Less

Moved to the area two years ago. This place is outstanding!!!! There are several doctors here....all seem very nice and extremely accomodating. My dog has severe knee problems. Dr. Mitchel's care was excellent. After her surgery, and rehab in their pool, she is back to normal. We have boarded her several times. She always seems so excited to come. When I have questions, someone always calls me back....THAT DAY. Wish I could get this kind of service from my doctor. I would recommend to anyone who needs a vet or boarding facility. Read Less
