Located in East Montgomery, Vaughn Road Veterinary Clinic provides state of the art small animal medicine, veterinary surgery, diagnostics, cancer care, orthopedics, and dentistry as well as boarding, grooming, bathing and pet nutrition.
Doctors Scott Griffin and Holladay Strickland offer extraordinary care and customer service. Our medical staff is well known for its compassionate and experience.
Our clients also have access to Carriage Hills, our affiliate practice, for services such as pet rehabilitation and physical therapy including the only underwater treadmill in the Tri-County area. Services include the critical care ward, staffed 24/7 to provide comprehensive and intensive monitoring and treatment for critically ill patients. Should the need arise, they also provide emergency care for our patients as well as those of other practices in the local area.

I am so glad I chose these guys for my adopted cat’s first vet visit. He is unbelievably skittish and antisocial due to his rocky past, but the staff here made the experience as stress free as possible and provided great care. The staff was all extremely nice and eager to answer any questions I had as a first time pet owner.

The vet techs & support staff are 150% professional pet handlers. They make pet pandemonium look like its a piece of cake which is much appreciated when someone lile myself is handling, transporting & responsible for someone else's beloved furry friends. I don't know if my trips to their clinic could ever be so smooth & easygoing without their accommodating assistance. They never fail to go above & beyond to help regardless of request or simply their nature to help at the first possible situation in meed.

If I could give Vaughn Road Veterinary Clinic 10 stars, I would! The staff and the vets are the best I have found -- from being on the cutting edge of medical techniques, procedures and medicines to being kind and caring. My 4 rescue dogs actually enjoy going to to the clinic now because everyone is so good with them. Annual exams and treatments for a variety of problems have all been taken care of here and now my fur babies are healthy and happy. Although everyone I have seen is professional, my favorite at Vaughn Road is Dr. Lamb. She will make you and your pets smile!

I took my cocker spaniel in yesterday to be groomed, and when I picked her up - all of her hair had been cut off - it probably isn't 1/2 long all over. Apparently the groomer had either overbooked, or don't know what a cocker cut is, but it was obvious she used the same size blade all over her body. AND - it was a botched up job at that. I will never take my dogs to her again to be groomed!!!! When in doubt - she could have called me.

We love VRVC! Dr. Strickland and Dr. Griffin are amazing veterinarians who are caring and compassionate. Dr. Strickland's diagnosis saved our sweet baby and Dr. Griffin performed the life saving amputation (unfortunately that was the only way to save our sweet boy). I can't say enough about how much time they both spent explaining what was going on and answering all our questions and calming our nerves. The staff at Vaughn Road and Carriage Hills are also amazing.

I've been using Vaughn Road Vet for almost 12 years and I wouldn't take my "kids" anywhere else!!! Dr. Griffin and Dr. Strickland are exceedingly competent and are very compassionate with the animals they treat. They have performed two major surgeries on my dogs...one life-saving emergency surgery. The peace of mind I have knowing that my dogs are in their care is irreplaceable!

Very disgusted with this office. My family and I have sent our animals here for 20 years. Today we lost all respect for the office. Our beloved 14 year old dog passed. Before she passed we called to see if we could bring her in to be put down. Their response was "We're all booked, we couldn't even fit you in". Keep in mind we have spent THOUSANDS of dollars at this office.

I am so glad I chose these guys for my adopted cat’s first vet visit. He is unbelievably skittish and antisocial due to his rocky past, but the staff here made the experience as stress free as possible and provided great care. The staff was all extremely nice and eager to answer any questions I had as a first time pet owner.

I took my cocker spaniel in yesterday to be groomed, and when I picked her up - all of her hair had been cut off - it probably isn't 1/2 long all over. Apparently the groomer had either overbooked, or don't know what a cocker cut is, but it was obvious she used the same size blade all over her body. AND - it was a botched up job at that. I will never take my dogs to her again to be groomed!!!! When in doubt - she could have called me.
