Dr Moore and staff are wonderful. Honest and compassionate. Dr Moore personally calls you back when you call office with medical questions or concerns about your pet. We have been using Thornton Animal Hospital for about 2.5 years. We have 2 dachshunds that we take there for everything, including boarding. The staff couldn't be any nicer and we never worry about leaving our babies there! They are awesome. Cannot say enough great things about them. Read Less

I came in about what turned out to be an allergy issue with my dog's (lincoln) feet. The treatment lincoln got was fast and effective, also they pointed out how I could prevent lincoln from getting lost with a gps implant so I got one. Now he's a cyborg! lol Read Less

I highly recommend this vet to anyone!! We have had 2 separate occasions where my cat didn't have the right treatment for diagnosis. We took her to Thornton Animal Hospital & she is like brand new! You will never find a more caring Veterenarian than Doctor Moore. My family has been taking their animals to Thornton since 1986 and when I moved back to the Auburn-Opelika area I didn't think twice. Absolutely the best! They are completely dedicated, caring and concerned about all of the animals that come to their clinic. I think the vets are knowledgeable, but its freakishly expensive. Simply to walk in the door is $40, then everything else adds up from there... even disposal fees. :/ I suspect you can do better cost wise, and probably quality wise too. Read Less
