Always there when I need them. Kind compassionate staff. They understand my needs as well as my pets’. There aren’t enough words in my head to describe how much they’ve helped me over the years. The moment I walked into the clinic, Dr. Caldwell began caring for Jack. Jack had been attacked by a Schnauzer, and it wasn't a good situation.And, although Jack did not live, I had all confidence in Dr. Caldwell! I would not have wanted Jack to be under the care of anyone but Dr. Caldwell.
The office was nice and clean. The lady in the front desk was personable, and friendly...
The follow-up call was very thoughtful.

Dr Kim checked my Roger out yesterday after surgery two days before. His ear was really red and swollen. She gave him a steroid shot and a stronger antibiotic and he is much better today.

When our dog suddenly went paralyzed, and we had to hand-feed her daily and build a wheelchair, we went to 2nd Avenue and two vets suggested putting her down. We decided to try one more opinion before making that hard decision. We took her to Dr. Caldwell. He diagnosed her with a spinal issue associated with age. He prescribed her medication and strict bedrest and said she would be back on her feet in a month. One month later, after taking her medication and being on bedrest, not only was she "back on her feet" but she was chasing squirrels! That was 2 years ago, and our Zoey is still active and happy today.

Couldn't even diagnois a simple kidney infection.... My dog was in so much pain he couldn't walk and they kept asking if he'd been hit which I kept saying no he's a house dog and they swore up and dow...
Couldn't even diagnois a simple kidney infection.... My dog was in so much pain he couldn't walk and they kept asking if he'd been hit which I kept saying no he's a house dog and they swore up and down it was a muscle issue or that he had some trama... Took him three times not only were they slow but they took useless tests that cost alot and still didn't diagnois him ...not to mention he had to have gotten the infection there after receiving his shots because before then he was completely healthy

Took a lethargic chihuahua that wouldn't eat or drink and was vomiting to this vet because it was the closest veterinarian office open on the weekend. The staff was very nonchalant about the whole ordeal and took their sweet time getting her information together before finally letting us in a room. The dog had never been a patient here before. The doctor came in and took her temp without even putting some lubricant on the thermometer to make it comfortable. The dog screeched in pain. Then right after he gave her a parasite test. He determined it was "a simple upset stomach" and gave her an injection of anti nausea medication. He didn't even weigh her to get the right dose. Later on she was even worse and was more lethargic than before. I'm assuming it had to do with her previous illness and too much medication. We ended up taking her to an emergency vet in opelika later on in the night. When we mentioned the treatment that was received at this establishment to the doctor at the emergency vet, she was very concerned about it. Stay far away from caldwell if you care about your animal.

The moment I walked into the clinic, Dr. Caldwell began caring for Jack. Jack had been attacked by a Schnauzer, and it wasn't a good situation.And, although Jack did not live, I had all confidence in Dr. Caldwell! I would not have wanted Jack to be under the care of anyone but Dr. Caldwell.

We decided to try one more opinion before making that hard decision. We took her to Dr. Caldwell. He diagnosed her with a spinal issue associated with age.
