Dr. Mitchell.is the best veterinarian in the area. His prices are extremely low for such a knowledgeable doctor. He always tries his hardest and is not afraid to admit it if he isn't site or doesn't know something and he will decided himself to either look it up online or whip out a massive book. Okay establishment. The girl at the front desk is great! Very nice and helpful. The vet techs are pretty nice as well. I believe there is another vetinarian there besides doctor Mitchell who is a female. Something about the way she talks I do not like. It seems fake or kind of like a "your stupid" tone in her voice. Great service with caring staff, and reasonable prices! Back in 2015 my Lab/Pit mix, Bane, was diagnosed with Hip Dysplasia. He started limping and having pain so we took him to our usual vets office, affordable, where we were referred by Dr. Brennan to see Dr. Mitchell. Dr. Mitchell was very caring and knowledgeable. We were debating on a few procedures, but the one were were most set on was called a Femoral Head Osteotmey(FHO). Which is more of a salvage surgery. The recovery time was short, and walking and using his hip was encouraged for a better recovery. We ended up going ahead with the surgery, as we thought it would be the best choice since Bane is such an active pup. After the surgery was over and Bane was more awake, we were able to come see him. He had about a 5 inch incision on his hip with stitches and staples. You figure he'd be in pain and tired, but our little trooper was eager to get up and play lol. We had to leave him overnight, but the next morning we were able to bring him home. The first few days we had to have him take it easy, but after he was up and walking on the road to recovery. It's been about two years since his surgery, and Bane is better than ever! He acts like he never had surgery at all! Thanks to Dr. Mitchell, Bane gets to live a healthy, and happy active life. Dr. Mitchell, Dr. Doherty and staff do an excellent job taking care of Sunny. I have taken all my Pets to Phenix Animal Hospital for many years. Today was just for a bath and toenail trim but they had a new toy as Sabrina called it and x-rayed Sunny's pelvic because she had been hit by a car a few years back.. She has arthritis in her pelvic so I got some pain meds. I appreciate all they do and highly recommend them to anyone with fur babies. They will get tender loving care with This staff. Read Less

My 15 Year old Rottweiler Rocky started bleeding out the mouth on 04/11/2015 and We could not find a vet to see him that didn't want 400.00 first just to walk in the door, until we prayed and ask GOD to help him and make him well and GOD sent us to Doctor.Mitchell and his great staff who went above and beyond anything we could of asked. Dr.Mitchell explained that with his age and the fact that Rockie has heart worms things look awfully bad for him but he would not give up he would give the benefit of all his training and GOD given talent to try and help him(my words to paraphrase him) and knowing that money was tight with us he said that what not his first concern (WOW)and he went into genius mode and thinking outside of the box how to get Rockie better and that's what he did. Well today he's walking going outside to relieve himself and trying to play. Isn't GOD good!!!!!!
