I applied for a job here two weeks ago. I was told to wait a week because the doctor was out. Understandable. Going on to week two I call and ask to follow up on my app. It’s thanksgiving week so the doc is on vacation and can’t review it. Again understandable. Going on to week three the first time I call, the doc Is just getting back from vacation and i will need to wait a couple day so they can review apps. Understandable. When I call a couple days later I’m told the doctor is sick and plans on being sick for the next to two weeks. What kind of business is this where people in need of a job is getting the run around. Just tell the truth and stop advertising that you all are hiring and lying about the application process. I completed two applications and actually came up to the facility. Read Less

Very disappointed in my experience here. After spending $355.00 I left not knowing anything more than I did when I got there. I was told we could do blood work to the tune of another $180.00. WOW. My poor dog is still sick and the fluids given him seem to be leaking out and not being absorbed since he has been wet over the area since we left. I am not worried about cost however you would think after being charged that amount that I could an answer as to what is ailing my poor dog. Read Less

Dr. Waldrop and his staff are very caring and seem to have a genuine love for animals which is my first priority in trusting my pets to any vet center. They have taken great care of our 3 dogs over the last several years. At our prior vet's office, our dogs always came home with fleas after boarding them; this has never happened with Summerville Rd Animal Hospital. The office is plain, as are most vets' offices for obvious reasons, but clean. We appreciate their service to pets! Read Less

My dog pepper had a great groom! I'm sure she had a good time. I on the other hand can't say the same. While in the waiting room, two cockroaches ran across the bottom of the counter. Two weeks before at the visit she got rabies shot, she spent the weekend and the toys and the leftover food stayed in the car for just an hour, and the next day I saw three roaches! In the car!!??? I think I'll try someone else next time!Read Less

I absolutely love the staff at Summerville Animal Hospital. They always are able to work me into their schedule (usually I call for a same day appointment :) ) and they take such great care of my babies. I use to use Companion Animal Hospital but I was always being over charged and my dogs came back to me dirtier then before they were dropped off. I am glad I made the switch. I recommend this clinic to everyone! Thank you ladies and Wally. Read Less
