I’ve been going here since Dr. wood took over. Have always loved it and recommended so many people to go there. I’ve been thinking so hard about wether I should leave this review or not. Sadly, I’ve decided to go along with it. I’ve enrolled my Lab in their wellness plan twice, which has been amazing. He still has more months to go, and unfortunately it’s just money I’ll be losing. My dog HATES going there. I used to think nothing of it, but now, I’m starting to understand why. Last time I took him to be boarded, I asked that he be checked since he had been limping and for him to get a bath. When I picked him up, they didn’t say a single thing about his hind leg, and although they bathed him, he smelled like urine and I had to bathe him at home. Not to mention, before I even came in, I called to see if someone could meet me at the bottom to get him because of his leg and their steps, and because we always have a hard time getting him in through the lobby and I had my 4 yr old niece in the car. Brenda was very rude about it and told me to drive to the back and bring him in through there. Left my car running with my niece in there since I was just dropping him off and they had a dead dog FULLY uncovered in the back with flies all over it and I did not want her to see. Now, I’ve been trying to schedule an appointment for him to get a bath since it’s only $5 with his wellness plan. I called and Brenda (I believe that was her name?) put me on hold... 5 minutes later I hung up and called about 2 hours later, still NOTHING. yesterday (two weeks or so since trying last time) I called and she put me on hold again then they hung up. 15 min later I call again and finally she talked to me, I asked to set up a bath appointment and she was very rude about it, and simply said “ok, let me check and I’ll call you back.” It’s been a whole day later, and I haven’t heard back from them. I went ahead and took my dog somewhere else for a bath and he was as happy as can be. Really miss the girl that used to work the front desk. Doctor is great. Staff not so much. Read Less

Took my Lucy here today & they were amazing. From the time you walk in the door with the desk staff, to the assistants & Dr. Wood, everyone is patient, attentive & thorough. Our furbaby suffers from new people anxiety as well as separation anxiety. The staff keyed in on this and Dr. Wood's even sat in the floor to examine her and make her comfortable. I called Thursday 11/30/17 asking if they have nexgard the lady who answered the phone said yes we do then she asked me if I have been there before and I said no I haven't well then she said no we don't and hang up on me. I absolutely love this place! The entire staff is so caring and so loving. They helped save my boy Mr. Chewy. Doctor woods took great care in treating my dog who has a rare decease. He was very thorough in researching this decease and answering all of my questions. Lol its funny my dog gets excited every time we go. Even he loves this place. Read Less

The staff was amazing. The vet called me back within 20 minutes of us dropping our fur baby off,with a diagnosis (they were extremely booked) being a walk in and still saw us immediately. Extremely satisfied!! Read Less

While I am awake I want to thank Dr.Wood and the staff at Palmerdale animal clinic in Pinson for all they have done this week to get Safari and the baby through this traumatic time. They have been wonderful. The Wellness Plan has really paid for itself several times over. Emergency c section, spay, xrays, meds and iv fluids for 2 days......less than $300. And he is working on payments. This man truly put the animals health and well being first! Read Less

I moved to Palmerdale from Shelby County. I hated leaving my great vet and did not think I would ever find a vet that good again. Well, I did. Dr. Wood and his staff are WONDERFUL. Dr. Wood is young but has the knowledge, wisdom and compassion of an older, seasoned vet. He is amazing. Read Less

I am so pleased with all the staff at Palmerdale Animal Clinic...they have been great with Zoe and very professional in every aspect... Holly does a wonderful job with grooming and Zoe loves her. Dr. Wood is very up to date on Zoe's health issues and helps me work things around my budget...I would recommend this group if you are in the area. Read Less

I can not say enough good about Dr Wood. I had to have my Buddy put down Friday and we could not get him to the office so he was very glad to make a house call. He went above and beyond what was expected. Dr Wood was very nice and not at all expensive. When I get to the emotional state for another family member, Dr Wood will be our vet. Read Less

I had been searching for a vet I liked for over a year when I brought my dog in to see Dr. Wood. His staff greeted me warmly, gave my dog a treat, and made me feel completely at ease. Dr. Wood took the time too introduce himself to not only me, but also my dog. Their prices are reasonable and they offer wellness plans (which I totally recommend). Was about to find a new vet/clinic when Dr. Wood took over. I decided to give him a chance with my two furbabies! He has been super and the staff very friendly. Am very happy with Palmerdale Animal Clinic now and will be staying with Dr Wood & staff. Even made a reservation for Sugar & D.D. for our next out of town trip.
