My husband and I took our new puppy to Animal Care Center on the recommendation of a friend, and we are SO happy with the care our pup has received. Everyone on staff is unfailingly professional and friendly, they always answer my questions thoroughly (I'm one of those who asks a lot of questions!), and they truly care about our pup. In fact, I think his behavior is the best review I can give Animal Care Center - he is always excited to go, and consistently rushes out of the car and up to the door. Just moved to the area and had/have a sick cat. This practice got me in quickly when I called as a new client. Dr. Moody took exceptional care of our cat and recommended what was best for him. (Having prior experience in the industry on my end helps to know what I'm looking out for). She recommended the appropriate care at a reasonable price. Now he's sick again and it's the end of the week and we took him up there right as they opened. We were he first client the doctor saw and she recommended different care this time at a very reasonable price. Asked if we wanted an estimate for the treatment and wanted to do what was best for the cat and us. Have a lot of faith in this new veterinarian (to us). The staff and vets at Animal Care Center are truly warm and compassionate € each time our pets visit (which is a lot with 2 cats/3 dogs!) we are treated like family and feel like everyone€s attention is focused completely on us. We have been patients of Dr. Moody for almost 9 years and followed her when she moved from another clinic because we love her so much! She saved our young terrier€s life years ago after an accident and now helps her live a more active and comfortable life despite arthritis as an old girl. Dr. Moody gets right down on the floor with our babies to make them feel more safe and comfortable. Our Longhair Dachshund has always been TERRIFIED just to walk in a DRs Office and if they tried to take him out of our arms, he literally screamed. Dr. Macie Moody has such a gentle and caring spirit that the owners and pets sense this. Billy Jack went right into her arms from my wife's and never trembled or made a sound. It was like an absolute MIRACLE. It still has us talking about it and telling everyone. Also, she drew blood for tests and administered medicine without him being frightened. I have to say that Dr. Davidson and his staff are fantastic. Just over two years ago we brought in a feral momma cat to have her spayed and he took such good are of her. Today, Dr. Moody got to see the feral male (King Tut) and neuter him. Well she also identified some teeth that needed some work (pulled 2) and antibiotics to help clear the abscesses. King Tut had gotten to the point where we could pet and hand feed him, but no one else. They took such good care of him and we know that in a few days he will be fine. They were very understanding of the fact that although Tut is feral, we love him just the same. I have never had a bad experience with them in the 6 years we have been using them. Read Less

Began taking our dog and two cats to Animal Care Center about 3 yrs ago we were new to Prattville. We needed a vet for our one dog and two cats. Our 11 yr old cat had to be put down last year. The doctor and staff were so great with us and helped us thru the whole process . Since then we have gotten two more cats. Now we are up to 3 cats and one dog. We only come here for all their needs. We have a very large family, 3 humans and 4 Irish Jack Russell Terriers. We switched to Animal Care Center almost a year ago and we do not regret the decision. They give each of our kids the same level of respect and care that they give to us. They are always there to answer questions. They make us feel as if they are part of something special simply because we allow them to care for our family. Animal Care Center is not your typical vet clinic.....the emphasis is on the care! I began using them 9 years ago on the recommendation of my sister. At the age of 2, my yorkie became extremely ill with what has been reoccurring pancreatitis for the past 7 years. Dr. D has brought Sasha back from the brink of death several times, he and Dynasty have come in after hours to take care of her after she got into chocolate, and the entire staff treats her as if she is their own whenever she checks into the "Bed & Biscuit" for boarding. We adopted a rescue Brussels we named Cassie and fortunately she has no health issues but she receives the same love and care from the staff. I hate to say staff because to us they are not staff they are like family......Dr. Davidson, Dynasty, Amber, and Brandy......your the best!! Read Less
