Cobbs Ford Pet Health is truly the BEST veterinarian clinic I’ve ever been to, and I’ve lived in several other states and even 2 other countries. It’s a one stop shop! Need daycare, grooming, boarding, emergency visits they’ve got it! And their vets truly care for your babies as if they were their own! The front desk ladies are amazing, friends, polite and professional!

I brought my dog in for an emergency visit because of lethargy, weakness and loss of appetite.

I have never experienced a worse veterinarian visit in my entire life.
I brought my dog in for an emergency visit because of lethargy, weakness and loss of appetite.
Our normal vet was not open so I used this place.
After a $100 exam, the vet told me that my dog has early signs of pneumonia but to know for sure, chest x-rays we're needed. Another $215.
Then she says that she believes he is starting to develop pneumonia.
Prescribed medication for another $100.
She did nothing onsite as far as administering any meds nor any IV or any other treatment at all.
I return home and start to give the first doses of the prescribed medication and upon opening his mouth, I discovered that his mouth and gums are full of infection and a very large abscess is clearly visible as well as a terrible smell.
So, his problem is a severe oral infection.
My dog DOES NOT have pneumonia as stated by the vet.
So after $400+ for the services, my dog continued to suffer.
Will not eat.
Cannot hardly move.
All because of an obvious misdiagnosis.
The $400+ is not the primary issue.
I would have paid $4000 if I knew it would help my dog not to suffer and to get his condition under control.
My dog has absolutely no cough and no other sympyas related to pneumonia.
He has a mouth full of infection.
How could a competent vet not even look in his mouth??
Had she been thorough, the horrible infection is clearly visible.
I am truly disgusted and outraged at this total lack of knowledge on behalf of this vet and this practice.
I will leave this same review and rating on every possible site that I can to share my negative experience.
$400+ and the actual condition was not even identified and treated.
Absolute incompetence.

We spent $170 and given the chance to do it again, I would. Even for double the money. We drove an hour to show up at ONE AM with a BUNNY we thought was dying of GI Stasis. (Think really bad gas and intestinal blockage.) it turned out to be a parasite from the awful pet store we rescued her from, but the vet was able to rule out GI Stasis before even doing a fecal. We were given the meds we needed to get her better, the exam, her medicine, extra syringes for her medicine and water, along with the nurse sexing her and giving us a little bit of hay for the long ride home. FOR $170. I couldn’t be happier. ❤️

Our family of five fuzzbutts has been using Cobbs Ford Pet Health Center since the year 2000. They're open plenty of hours and they always have someone on call for the hours they are closed. They have a number of veterinarians on staff, a very clean facility, and the latest technology available for surgery and testing. In our opinion, you can certainly find cheaper places to get vetting for your pets, but you absolutely won't find a higher quality of care anywhere in this area.

We recently moved to the area and decided to have our dogs shots updated here. No problem with that. It's a large clean clinic with several vets. A few months later our toy rat terrier developed a breathing issue that sounded like he was really struggling to breath. Arrived to our appointment and explained my concerns to the tech whom had his back to us for about twenty minutes as he typed everything into a computer. The vet came in asked the same questions listened with a stethoscope and recommended X-rays but said since he's so little they'd probably only need one. Thirty minutes later they come back and show me on an iPad the X-rays (3) and she says everything looks normal it's probably just allergies continue giving him Benadryl and if he's not better in 2 weeks come back. We had already mentioned that we'd given him Benadryl and it didn't help at all. Not the answer I expected for $250! She did give me a medicine dropper so I guess that's good. Now as I try to explain this to my husband he asks what did they rule out? So I call them and was told I would need to schedule another appointment for blood work if we wanted to rule things like heart worm out! I called the animal medical clinic for a second opinion and wow! What a difference! They were able to get us in for an appointment that day and turns out our dog had a bacterial infection and wasn't breathing from his right nostril!! They also gave us a free visit for newcomers and a military discount! They even called to check on our dog a few days later and sent a handwritten thank you for the goodies we brought them a few days later when our dog could breathe again! Take your pet to a clinic where everyone in the building actually cares about their well being and cobbs ford is

The entire staff related to my concerns for my dog's health and treated him as if he were theirs. All questions and calls were answered and researched until my dog's health was returned to normal. With so many illnesses with the same symptoms the doctors used every alternative and home remedy to save me money, but help my dog recover as soon as possible. I was also very pleased at the cleanliness and clean smell of this clinic. I have never been in a clinic anywhere near this clean. Thank you to the entire staff at CFPHC and their advanced equipment.

I've been a client at Cobbs Ford for two and half years and today I finally had to cut ties. I have a 118 pound professionally trained, pedigree Newfoundland and while they have size limits for group play the resort manager was not willing to consider group play for my dog. He was forced to watched others play together while he was taken out alone. It my opinion he was not being given the same treatment as the other dogs and when I questioned it the resort manager spoke poorly of other clinics and annotated in his record that he's aggressive with other dogs but the clinic did not have dates, times, etc of his aggressiveness and I had never been made aware of this in the past. Due to the lack of professionalism of the resort manager and unwillingness to allow my dog to have the same treatment as others, my dog now attends doggy day care at another clinic that allows him to have six hours of playtime a day with dogs of all sizes and I have not received a complaint...just compliments.

Recently boarded our dog here. There was a young guy who helped me take our dog back to the kennel. He was great. Very nice, polite, very concerned about the animals. Too bad the young ladies working in the front weren't as attentive. But overall, facility is very nice, they work hard to keep it clean and the kennels are well set up. I think the only down side was check-in/check-out was a little slow and they look for an excuse to run up the vet bill. Seriously, dog flu? Most vets will admit that is a scam.

A few months later our toy rat terrier developed a breathing issue that sounded like he was really struggling to breath. I called the animal medical clinic for a second opinion and wow! What a difference! They were able to get us in for an appointment that day and turns out our dog had a bacterial infection and wasn't breathing from his right nostril!! They also gave us a free visit for newcomers and a military discount! They even called to check on our dog a few days later and sent a handwritten thank you for the goodies we brought them a few days later when our dog could breathe again! The entire staff related to my concerns for my dog's health and treated him as if he were theirs. All questions and calls were answered and researched until my dog's health was returned to normal. With so many illnesses with the same symptoms the doctors used every alternative and home remedy to save me money, but help my dog recover as soon as possible. I was also very pleased at the cleanliness and clean smell of this clinic. I have never been in a clinic anywhere near this clean. Thank you to the entire staff at CFPHC and their advanced equipment.

I've been a client at Cobbs Ford for two and half years and today I finally had to cut ties. I have a 118 pound professionally trained, pedigree Newfoundland and while they have size limits for group play the resort manager was not willing to consider group play for my dog. He was forced to watched others play together while he was taken out alone. It my opinion he was not being given the same treatment as the other dogs and when I questioned it the resort manager spoke poorly of other clinics and annotated in his record that he's aggressive with other dogs but the clinic did not have dates, times, etc of his aggressiveness and I had never been made aware of this in the past. Due to the lack of professionalism of the resort manager and unwillingness to allow my dog to have the same treatment as others, my dog now attends doggy day care at another clinic that allows him to have six hours of playtime a day with dogs of all sizes and I have not received a complaint...just compliments.

Recently boarded our dog here. There was a young guy who helped me take our dog back to the kennel. He was great. Very nice, polite, very concerned about the animals. Too bad the young ladies work...
Recently boarded our dog here. There was a young guy who helped me take our dog back to the kennel. He was great. Very nice, polite, very concerned about the animals. Too bad the young ladies working in the front weren't as attentive. But overall, facility is very nice, they work hard to keep it clean and the kennels are well set up. I think the only down side was check-in/check-out was a little slow and they look for an excuse to run up the vet bill. Seriously, dog flu? Most vets will admit that is a scam.
