My Chihuahua Skittles was a senior dog. They had been seeing him here since he was a puppy. He started having seizures in August and they worked us right in. Put him on medication and thankfully a volunteer helped us pay for his care. In October he had to be put to sleep and they sent my family and I a very heartwarming card! I've just started using TLC about 2 weeks ago and already a die hard fan of them. I went to them for a second opinion for my rescue baby's heartworm treatment. I had severe concerns about him being extremely hyper and anxious and starting the treatments. After having my concerns dismissed at a different vet I went to TLC they not only helped ease my concerns they also gave different options to calm him down during his treatments. Also I have a 12 year old who has history of AIHA and has relapsed. They have taken such good care of her and acted quickly. I also rescued a baby from the shelter this past week and they checked him out for some concerns and we're very thorough. They have called multiple times this past week to check on my babies which also makes me feel so much better about taking them here. I was excited about visiting this place after hearing about their knowledge of natural treatments for cancer in dogs. I was told on the phone about some herbs that attacked an aggressive carcinoma in dogs. I went in for a visit with my dog and was told after my dogs exam, they were ordering some and they would be in, in a few days. I never heard anything else. I called them to find out, they had never been ordered. They told me they would order them again. After a few weeks, guess what? They were never ordered. I did most of the calling and was told nothing but lies. I don't need them now because my 14 year old dog passed away. I'm not only heartbroken over the loss of my dog, but very disappointed in this clinic. I had so much hope and they let me and my precious dog down. I won't be back. Read Less

This vet is the absolute best! We started going there in 2013! It is quite a far drive so we tried about 10 different vets that are closer to us. Absolutely none of them lived up TLC! They are so kind and dedicated. They are reasonably priced! I am always highly pleased and almost shocked at how great their prices are! The team there has the best customer service! We have had puppy shots done there for two dogs, annual shots, check-ups, and a surgery done there. One of our dogs is paralyzed and they are the most considerate and amazing people in all of Mobile! Friendly knowledgeable staff. One of the vets saw our dog outside walking and was able to properly diagnosis his problem (torn alc) that was miss diagnosed by the vet we used to go to as arthritis. We went they fixed his leg and from then on we have been using TLC for the last 3 yrs. Read Less

My dog was very sick and made many trips to the vet. The Vet did not bother talking to me,I only spoke with assistant. I spent a lot of unnecessary money there. As helpful as the Assistant was she did not have her degree and had a difficult time interpreting the many , unnecessary?, lab reports. I got sick of paying hundreds of dollars to them when the Vet didn't bother to speak with me. After my last visit there I carried my beautiful dog to Dr. Carl Smith. I highly recommend this Veterinary hospital. They are wonderful. My cat Nenu, got really sick and was in a lot of pain. He looked so bad off that I thought I most likely would end up having to put him to sleep. I was frantic with worry and upset. So, I brought him to Tlc Veterinary Hospital in Semmes after hours and they got to work on him straight away. He had a very bad bladder infection. He was so sick they had to keep him there for a week until the bad infection cleared enough that I could take over from there. He's doing great now, and as affectionate as ever, even after that awful experience. I know he must have felt alone and scared the first few days he was there. I did visit him when I could. A HUGE thank you to the veterinarians that treated him, and all of the staff at Tlc Veterinary Hospital. They are all heartfelt and warm people. They really do care about the animals they treat. I recently relocated to Mobile, and I am absolutely in love with this office, their staff, and the vet. They are all so kind and loving towards your animals as well as being thorough and professional. I took my three in today (2-10-17) for their annuals and preventatives. I was surprised when I checked out how much more affordable their services were compared to other vets I have used. With three doggies- vet bills and medicine add up very quickly, and I didn't have a stroke when I got my total. I certainly recommend this office, and I am so impressed and grateful for them. TLC is not the best. Their main priority is profit. When I told them what I could afford when if first came inafter my dog was attacked, the staff kept pushing me to keep my dog alive, after all the suffering she went through, they wanted to charge me $300 a week for her care that would take months. All they did was shove a credit card in my face. After 2 weeks and $1600 I had to relinquish my rights to her, so she could get treatment. Hardest thing I ever had to do. Did they care? Hell no. Its all about the money. When I ask about her and if I can see or pics, the staff lies to me, almost everyone of them. It has been over a year and I still miss my dog and wonder if she is ok.
