I had to go back several times for the same condition. You see a different vet every time. Finally, the one more experienced vet finally solved the problem.

I had to go back several times for the same condition. You see a different vet every time. Finally, the one more experienced vet finally solved the problem.
Months later, I tried to get a heartworm prevention prescription filled out with pet smart because they were cheaper. Numerous times, pet smart would send them prescription request via fax. I called vet several times and personnel from front desk said they would send it back. Finally on the fourth call,they said my dog needed to be tested for heart worms prior to issuing a prescription.
I don’t know if that is standard practice in the industry or not. But why don’t someone call you back or tell me that initially? It seems like the front desk is a circus.I would highly re consider ever sending a pet to them if I was you.

When we rescued our male cat, they were willing to work with us on pricing and they take Care Credit. On Friday my dog, Baby, was extremely distressed and needed immediate attention. I drove from Fairhope to Summerdale and, within an hour, Baby was examined, tested, received and x-ray and ultra-sound, medicated and hooked up to an IV for support. The cost of exam and each test was discussed before administration. There were no surprises. The amazing staff was calm, clear in their diagnosis, tested with explanation and consideration and sensitive to how Baby and I were both feeling. The staff never once questioned the fact that Baby is not their regular patient. Baby is still in the hospital, separated from the other animals, but I have the opportunity to visit with her twice a day. I am so very grateful to every member working during this Thanksgiving weekend. I appreciate the time away from their own families to help my family. Be sure that I am moving all my pet records to Baldwin Animal Clinic: three dogs, a cat and two birds! Namaste'!

Without his help and dedication to his profession and the animals he works with, my puppy likely would not have been able to get the surgery she needed. This office offers the best services, and by far the best prices; in fact, i drove 6 hours just to have my dog seen by Dr. Stewart and his staff.

Fantastic place, one of the best vet centers ive ever dealt with. My puppy broke her leg and required surgery. All of the vets here in Gainesville, FL refused to do the surgeries, and would only refer me to Orthopedic vet specialists; who wanted $3,000. I was referred to Dr. Stewart, who not only agreed to do the surgery, but qouted it at only $775! My pup is currently in surgery, i will update this review once i pick her up and go through post surgery process. Great StaffGreat PricesGreat Vet

The entire staff at the Baldwin animal clinic has been nothing but amazing. A few years back I had a dog that escaped my yard while being "pet sat" at my home while I was on vacation. The clinic took him in as an emergency call and kept him for me while I was on the remainder of my vacation. He had a very badly broken leg, but Dr Heil & the staff nursed him back to health over long long weeks and hard overnights & weekends, but every time he came in they were all excited to see him and HE was excited to see THEM as well which is saying a lot considering his newfound fear for the vet. Also, I recently had my cat pass away and the clinic was nice enough to open early and comfort me in my time of need as well as send me a mourning card. It means a lot to have a staff that cares that much about their patients. I'll never go anywhere else.
