I have a beautiful Himalayan that just turned 11 years old. In the past she would get extremely stressed whenever I had to take her to the vet for anything, and would still be stressed when I got her home. However, I recently changed to Countryside and for the first time ever, she seemed not to mind. The staff was great and they really strived to care for my pet in a loving way. My precious pet remained fairly calm and purred most of the time because of the way they handled her, and she was very relaxed when she got home. Excellent care! Read Less

I love how accommodating they are, I needed to get my 3 pups in but couldn't take off of work. They offered the ability to drop them off before 8am and as long as I picked them up before closing there wasn't any additional charge. I've been using them since we moved into the area 5 yrs ago. Fantastic Veterinary Hospital. They are always so kind and responsive. Open 6 days a week with boarding available 7 days a week plus they have grooming and Doggie Day Care. They always have the most state of the art tech with great prices. I drive 50 miles round trip just to go to there facility b/c they are so awesome. I have been taking my boys, Ollie and Neptune, here for a couple of years. The absolutely best staff! Neptune is in heart medicine and the will mail to me so I don’t have to come in. We have taken our pets to Countryside Veterinary Hospital for many years and have been pleased with the medical service they provide. They have been very caring and very good with our pets. Sadly, we had two pets that couldn't be saved. The staff was so kind and helpful in those situations. The only thing we didn't care for is that my dog didn't like to be boarded there. The doctors here are awesome! It's more than a job to them. They genuinely care about the pets and their owners. We recently switched to countryside from another vet we were unhappy with. They are wonderful with my "problem child" (a fearful & protective Rottweiler) They always explain in detail each step of any procedure or treatment they do for me and I never leave feeling confused or upset with our service. Our 5 pets have received their care from Countryside since 2011. We love the staff and the vets! These people are professional and thorough, and wait times are usually very short. Good Vets & Staff at a price. This is the Neiman Marcus of Vets. We've used them for about 10 years for our dogs. They are competent and nice, they are very accomodating. I would have given them 5 stars overall but I dropped one because they are quite expensive. Here is an example, for our last visit for an annual checkup for two dogs including parasite check, toenail trim, anal gland squeeze, and heart worm check, about $300. I have always had wonderful experiences when taking my precious puppies to Countryside Veterinary. Dr. Cash was awesome and diagnosed Zion my puppy with (Puppy Strangles). He treated Zion aggressively which saved him life. I had taken my puppy to the Animal Hospital but the diagnoses was missed. Zion has fully recovered and I am so grateful to Dr. Cash for his professionalism, being so personable and caring with my puppies, and for always placing my mind at ease when my pets needed to be seen for any reason. We got our dog from HAS and due to living in Limestone county we had to visit countryside in Madison county to have our Sam neutered. We got a voucher from HAS but when we arrived to drop him off we were told it would be $63 for iv fluid and pain meds. We could opt out if we wanted but who snips a dogs privates without pains meds right!? We paid for the meds anyways. I was a little upset because between the staff at HAS and countryside nobody mentioned the medicine was our responsibility. Anyways, after all that I have to say they did take care of my handsome over dramatic attention seeking Sam. The ladies at the desk were so sweet and the Dr even came out and talked to me. If we didn't already have a vet in Limestone county we would definitely use Countryside again. They even called earlier today just to check on him :) Read Less

How can u not hire someone bc they have the word "forever" on their hand?? How does that mean I would do my job any less than a person without a tattoo?? I felt very discriminated against. Told me I very qualified for the job, laughing then raised my hand and she literally stopped me mid sentence and said "I really hate to say this but that is a deal breaker" it's 2016, more ppl than not have tattoos! It's 1 word! U lost out on a very loyal, dependable, hard working, caring employee that is very gifted with animals!! So sad ppl can be so closed minded this day and age! Absolutely amazing staff!! I came here on a whim, my previous vet in the area had my business for over 15 years, and due to some situations I was vet-less and looking for someone to take care of my Senior Chihuahua, Oppie. My very first appointment was exceptional. Dr. Cash examined Oppie and determined that although he was 15 years old, that he would be a great great candidate for teeth cleaning and more than likely extractions. They offer stage 1-4 periodontal disease teeth cleaning "surgeries" and they offer package deals (do not include the 80$ bloodwork). Overall for as horrible as Oppie's teeth were it was just under 400$ (this included like 6 extra extractions). I was given medication for Oppie to take for a week before the surgery. On surgery day, we were able to drop him off at 7 am and we picked him back up around 4pm. Dr. Conley performed his cleaning and she did exceptional. The before and after pictures were astonishing. She spoke with me about the care for Oppie and what to look for and the healing process. She provided great information as well as the entire staff. After a few days, Oppie was still feeling a bit bad (the dissolvable stitches had not dissolved yet, and he was grinding his teeth to mess with them), I called the vet and talked to the staff. They gave me more information and ultimately I had to come back in for a check up on the sutures. The staff again was amazing. Dr Cash truly cares about his furry patients and it really shows. I am so glad I followed the many reviews and have been able to meet the staff and some of the doctors. We have completely switched over to Countryside and I definitely do not regret it at all. I have been going to Countryside ever since moving to Toney in 1997. The place has grown and continues to grow. I have never received bad service from them. I have rescued several dogs from HAS and one had heartworm, they told me up front while at HAS what the approximate cost would be and possible problems with the treatment. The treatment cost less than they said and he was treated and is well. I just had Roxy in, she came from HAS with kennel cough that turned into pneumonia. She was in the hospital for a week, and it was expensive, but she is doing so much better. She is still on antibiotics. I highly recommend Countryside. The ladies at the desk recognize me when I walk in and always are nice as well as the techs and doctors. Read Less

My pet had been treated by another vet for years and his health was deteriorating. I brought him here to be boarded, and when Dr. Holt reviewed his medical history, she questioned a medication my vet had prescribed. She suggested another med and my pet has responded wonderfully. She has also been more proactive with his general care. My previous vet suggested a monthly procedure which was cost prohibitive. Dr. Holt said we could do the procedure in six months. We were searching for a vet for our two new rescue dogs and happened upon this place while taking them to be boarded elsewhere and thought we should check them out. The facility is large and inviting and their website was useful enough for us to know we wanted to try them as our vet.We took our 50 lb Darlie first and while he didn't care for having his temperature taken by having something prodded up his pooper, he loved everything else about the visit. Our 25 lb little dog went there to be spayed and again it was a very good experience. They were upfront about all the prices and let us choose which things we wanted to include in the procedure. Molly came through great and has had no problems since.We looked at their boarding costs and they are much better than most options we had seen up to that point and we trust the staff there to take good care of both dogs.
