I could not be more impressed with this vet's office. I got our first puppy in Dec. 2016 and took her, Roxy, to another local vet. Roxy has had some minor issues that caused frequent trips to the vet for what I thought was re-occurring UTI. The other vet never explained anything as far as test results. They would just give us antibiotics / meds and send us on our way. I finally changed vet when Roxy's problem wasn't fixed after 3-4 trips to the vet. The vet with family pet care took so much time with us and was generally concerned about Roxy. She fully explained all of Roxy's past test results, which numbers we should be concerned about and which ones were not concerning. We went over Roxy's diet and activity. As part of the health and wellness exam, the vet ACTUALLY examined Roxy's ears, eyes, gums, teeth, stomach, and heart rate. This was surprising to me since I hadn't EVER seen the last vet do that. I was super impressed with the time the vet spent with us and answered every question thoroughly . I felt like our pet was the concern and we weren't just a money sign . If you're not a pet owner, stop reading this - it won't make any sense.  If you love our four legged friends, you'll want to take yours here...You can tell a lot about how your pet likes where he is by his own reaction.  When I pulled into the parking lot this morning to drop off my BlackJack for 'that' surgery, as soon as he saw the front door, he did all he could do to get out of the car and go inside!  He's a 6 month old black lab - and I've taken him here since his 6 week checkup and shots, so this wasn't a first time visit.  He about pulled ME out of the car and I'm a good sized guy at 6'4" 240.... he was THAT excited to be here!  As soon as we walked in the door, his tail was going 100mph and he was very excited to see Mary Ann who was checking him in.  It gave me a great feeling seeing how much he likes it there, knowing that he's happy makes ME happy.Now I'm one of those owners that had to bring some of his toys from home with me.  As Mary Ann said, 'Some of these pets have their owners trained better than they are!'... so be it... Guilty as charged.  I love my Jack... oh, there's a story there....The first time I brought him in, on the paper they wanted me to fill out, it had info about my puppy... Color: Black Name Jack - somehow that got translated into his name being 'BlackJack'... it stuck!His registered AKC name is 'Handsome Black Jack XXX (my last name)  from Lynchburg Tennessee. Yeah, that IS a mouthful... but he's worth it!Anyway, the folks at this vets office take great care of your pets! You can tell that they are pet lovers and every pet that comes in is taken care of with a lot of love and affection.  You won't be sorry having your pet looked after by these great folks!The only thing I wish that they would change?
