They took him back immediately and took sick good care of him and made him comfortable..
I had to say goodbye to him..
We were given a room And time to be alone with him.. I don't think my heart can handle another dog right now, but it I ever get another one I will DEFINITELY BE USING DEERFOOT!

Our dog just recently had surgery to remove a four pound tumor from his stomach...I was well pleased with Dr Elliott and the entire staff making this ordeal much less stressful by taking time to talk at length with me and my husband. .Explaining what would be done.... And numerous follow up calls and texts to let me know how our furbaby was doing after surgery and the following day. The after care instructions and medicine instructions were explained and printed out for me to take home.
If you want a truly caring...compassionate and skillful veterinarian ...staff and clinic ..Please consider using Deerfoot Animal Clinic...They were professional...Organized and very accommodating ...I recommend them without reservation. I've used them for several years now and would not want to go anywhere else.

We have been going to Deerfoot Animal Clinic for over 10 years now and the love and compassion they show is amazing. We recently had to put down our fur baby, Brandi. The caring staff went the extra mile and sent us a sympathy card, and every person in the office signed it including Dr. Russell. The card had Brandi's paw print and her name on it, which means the world to us now. This was very unexpected. We will probably frame it!

Deerfoot is our go to place for all our pet care. For 14 years Scott Russell, the other Deerfoot vets, and the team have been our "well doggy and kitty" visits and end of life care as well. We've had 20 + pets in that time, and have never been less than fully happy with their care. Dr. Russell is also a terrific surgeon and Dr. Elliott is someone our newest puppy wiggles and wags over. I am so glad that we have special vets with great skill and a special love for their work and our pets.

I can not say enough about Dr. Elliott and the Staff at Deerfoot Animal Clinic. From the first day i brought my Senior Guy Max ( my dog) in, the bed side manner of Dr. Elliott he did not hesitate one minute to sit down on the floor with him because of standing sometimes was a tough battle for him.Won me over on knowing that Max was in good hands. The way that Dr. Elliott and the staff always know which animal belongs to what guest even without having your pet next to your side if you come in just to grab something. My dog Max has passed and the way Max was treated with the up most respect and care on the day he passed even with Dr. Elliot sitting on the floor again with him and placing him on a comfy bed on the floor to make his final minutes at peace and relaxing. Thank you. Deerfoot Animal Clinic, has my recommendation for any one looking for a great vet and services to please give them a try.

Our eight year old lab Aubie fell very ill, (we suspected from eating thrown away lunch remnants from a construction sight in our neighborhood). He was so sick we honestly thought he would die. Dr. Russell was patient enough to continue caring for Aubie by administering antibiotics and performing x-Rays. While most vets may have been quick to perform surgery. Dr. Russell continued to treat symptoms & evaluate his condition. I am happy to say that Aubie has recovered. We are grateful for Dr. Russell's talent & for him being a heck of a nice guy. We love our dog - he is truly part of our family.

I met Dr. Russell over twenty years ago when I had a sick Dalmatian puppy. I could tell then that being a veterinarian isn't just a job. Dr. Russell truly cares about his patients and their "parents". After years of not having animals of my own, I have recently been adopted by one cat, and I adopted another to be her playmate. Drs. Russell and Elliott both have been amazingly attentive to both of my furry kids. They take the time to discuss any issues we're having with the cats, let me ask A LOT of questions, and show general concern. They DO NOT make me feel like the "Crazy Cat Lady" at all when I ask a lot of questions. The staff is very understanding of how much we care for our "kids" and are always friendly as well. I couldn't ask for more patient and genuinely caring people to take care of Uno and Deux.

Terrible. We used them for 10 years and they were pleasant but don't know much about caring for animals except for shots and boarding. We lost Margo, our 7 year old Terrier due to Dr. Russell refusing to give her the medication she was prescribed by the Acton ER for Adkins Disease. Well she died in his care while being boarded with her brother in the same cage. Neglect is all I can assume. Jack, her brother is still a mess over the trauma. Choose your vet wisely.

The way that Dr. Elliott and the staff always know which animal belongs to what guest even without having your pet next to your side if you come in just to grab something. My dog Max has passed and the way Max was treated with the up most respect and care on the day he passed even with Dr. Elliot sitting on the floor again with him and placing him on a comfy bed on the floor to make his final minutes at peace and relaxing. They are also good about answering any of your questions that you may have! I would not trust taking my dogs anywhere else! Love this place and the people there! My dogs love coming here!

Our eight year old lab Aubie fell very ill, (we suspected from eating thrown away lunch remnants from a construction sight in our neighborhood). He was so sick we honestly thought he would die. Dr. Russell was patient enough to continue caring for Aubie by administering antibiotics and performing x-Rays. While most vets may have been quick to perform surgery. Dr. Russell continued to treat symptoms & evaluate his condition. I am happy to say that Aubie has recovered. We are grateful for Dr. Russell's talent & for him being a heck of a nice guy. We love our dog - he is truly part of our family.

I met Dr. Russell over twenty years ago when I had a sick Dalmatian puppy. I could tell then that being a veterinarian isn't just a job. Dr. Russell truly cares about his patients and their "parents". After years of not having animals of my own, I have recently been adopted by one cat, and I adopted another to be her playmate. Drs. Russell and Elliott both have been amazingly attentive to both of my furry kids. They take the time to discuss any issues we're having with the cats, let me ask A LOT of questions, and show general concern. They DO NOT make me feel like the "Crazy Cat Lady" at all when I ask a lot of questions. The staff is very understanding of how much we care for our "kids" and are always friendly as well. I couldn't ask for more patient and genuinely caring people to take care of Uno and Deux.

Terrible. We used them for 10 years and they were pleasant but don't know much about caring for animals except for shots and boarding. We lost Margo, our 7 year old Terrier due to Dr. Russell refusing...
Terrible. We used them for 10 years and they were pleasant but don't know much about caring for animals except for shots and boarding. We lost Margo, our 7 year old Terrier due to Dr. Russell refusing to give her the medication she was prescribed by the Acton ER for Adkins Disease. Well she died in his care while being boarded with her brother in the same cage. Neglect is all I can assume. Jack, her brother is still a mess over the trauma. Choose your vet wisely.
