We love Dr. Kris and the staff at Pet Vet Animal Hospital. Our pup, Jango, feels right at home when she visits, and the staff are always courteous and knowledgeable. I absolutely adore Pet Vet and everyone who works there. I am the adopter mentioned in an earlier review. I completley trust everyone at Pet Vet and wouldn't take my dog anywhere else. I know 100% that my dog is loved and cared for perfectly when I drop him off for boarding or to see the vet. Everyone treats him so wonderfully and I never feel sad or worry when I leave him because I know he is in such good hands. I cannot say enough good things about Pet Vet. I just feel horrible that they were put in such a difficult and unpleasant situation when dealing with All American Dachshund Rescue - a position I put them in and they did nothing wrong.Read Less

I had to call this vet because an adopter returned a dog to our rescue, I called to get the hand written chart so my vet could read it over in regards to some treatments they had done. When I asked for it to be faxed I told them that I wanted the hand written notes from the vet, what they sent me was the computer chart that only has what was done not why it was done. When I called a second time I was transferred to the vet that treated the dog and to say she was rude was an understatement. She accused me of yelling(I have a loud voice not my fault) and interrupted me numerous times but told me I couldn't interrupt her. Told me to let her talk and I did then she hung-up on me before I could get a resolution to the issue that I was looking for. Told me that before I took the dog into my house I needed to find out from the owner what she put on the dog for fleas cause he had severe fleas and said a few more things about the owner that should not have been said...with as many vets as their are on every street corner I will not recommend this vet to anyone. I'm just trying to help the dog, don't care about the kind of care he had before he came back to us only want to help him now and she was not willing to give me any info to do that. NOT a friendly place. We have members in Birmingham and I'll be passing the word on not to go to this vet. Read Less
