Dr. Schmidt is great! She’s knowledgeable, professional, caring and friendly. I’m glad she has been able to help alleviate some ongoing issues with my dog. He is happy and feeling so much better thanks to her care. The techs are all great and always helpful too.

I have been very happy with Dr. Simmons. I have been going to her since 2010, for eight years. Recently a couple of the supplements she prescribed for my two cats improved the quality of their lives. One was a vet prescribed vitamin D for my cat when Dr. Simmons noticed she had dry skin; and the other was a powder to put on my other cat's food for arthritis. I am so grateful to make my cats happier. She had me give my cat Prescription Y/D for my cat's hypo-thyroid and said not to let her
eat anything else. That was two years ago, and my cat is still doing great. Dr. Simmons always knew exactly what was wrong with my animals and treated them effectively.
She always called me back. I was surprised, sometimes she would call me back at 8:00, an hour after closing. When my dog had bladderstone surgery, she gave my her home number and I called her at home.
Dr. Simmons almost always greeted me with a hug. She was so cheerful, compassionate, and friendly. She said my dog was a good fit for me. I never thought adopting a chihuahua from the shelter could change my life so much.

My dog is a rescue pit. He has special needs you could say: terrified, unapproachable, not great in a new office or with new people. The staff was wonderful in accomodating us and working with our situation. Calvin got his shots with no anxiety than could be expected for him.

Dr. Simens is by far the rudest, most un professional doctor I've ever experienced. She made my dogs ear 10 times worse by giving him multiple pills then refused to treat him. She told me she would refund my money when I brought it up she screamed " go find another doctor" then screamed, slammed the door on me, and said " get out of here!". I said nothing wrong. She was extremely rude. I was left in shock. I would never recommend anyone going to such a rude and un caring doctor, worst experience!

Dr. Simens is by far the rudest, most un professional doctor I've ever experienced. She made my dogs ear 10% worse by giving him multiple pills then refused to treat him. She told me she would refund my money when I brought it up she screamed " go find another doctor" then screamed, slammed the door on me, and said " get out of here!". I said nothing wrong. She was extremely rude. I was left in shock. I would never recommend anyone going to such a rude and un caring doctor, worst experience!

As a first time dog mom, I can only hope what I have to say will express how much VCA Alpine has helped my little family. With every situation I've found myself in, VCA has always provided professional and down to earth service. From the frantic call of "My 4 month old Aussie just ate this" to "My 7 year old cat needs a routine exam" the staff has never once failed to provide the necessary advise, recommendations, or comments to guide me through taking care of my furbabies. They listen to my concerns, they can relate to my needs, and I trust my animals to be left in their care. They have earned my trust and I will continue to visit them for all my animal needs!

We had to let our furry child go today and my wife was concerned that he didn't get to eat his full meal. Dr. Kuo gave him all the treats he wanted to eat and furthermore, went to get his own lunch for our dog to feast on.

Watch your bill, boarded my dog and was charged double for the fecal test, and not advised of the almost $9 dollar a day fee to have them add her vitamin and over the counter Zantac to her food. Nothing like a quick extra $100 in fees to welcome us home. Not how this place used to run. They really didn't care about it when I pointed it out either.

I've been taking our dogs, and cat, here for years. The hospital was recently renovated and not only recieved a face-lift, but also was outfitted with top-of-the-line medical equipment.

I've been taking our dogs, and cat, here for years. The hospital was recently renovated and not only recieved a face-lift, but also was outfitted with top-of-the-line medical equipment.
The Doctors here are knowledgeable and the staff is super friendly. There's also a great groomer on staff too. And to top all this, they have a great selection of dog and cat food, toys, and treats available for purchase.
If you love your animals you HAVE to bring them here.

Super service. Friendly and caring about your 4 legged family members. Vet staff is also awesome. They are up front, honest, and caring to our animals. There has never been a feeling of being pressured to have extra testing or procedures performed. The entire office staff from the front desk, techs, and vets are great!

As a first time dog mom, I can only hope what I have to say will express how much VCA Alpine has helped my little family. With every situation I've found myself in, VCA has always provided professional and down to earth service. Super service. Friendly and caring about your 4 legged family members. Vet staff is also awesome. They are up front, honest, and caring to our animals. There has never been a feeling of being pressured to have extra testing or procedures performed. The entire office staff from the front desk, techs, and vets are great!
