Very informative and to the point, they don't try to sell you something that you don't really need. They give you options of extras if you want them.
Dr. Roy is the only Vet that my critters actually love to see!!
And they go crazy (my dogs) over Jeff!!
Even though they moved a good distance from me I have stayed with them and will continue to do so.
I cannot say enough good things about them. Just the reaction from my 2 dogs says it all! They are so excited to see them and we do not have to go there but only once a year!!

WAKE UP PEOPLE, Dr Roy sold the business name and all your files, not one person from the Buckeye location work at the new location. Worst of all they still have his photo and info as the veterinaria...
WAKE UP PEOPLE, Dr Roy sold the business name and all your files, not one person from the Buckeye location work at the new location. Worst of all they still have his photo and info as the veterinarian, he no longer pet practicing. The new vet has nothing about herself posted. Don’t even know if your seeing a legitimate vet. Very deceitful on Dr Roy’s part and the new vet. He should have let his patients know what he was doing, but I guess it wouldn’t have been worth the money he got. Go on any other vet sight and you get a bio of all the veterinarians, not on River Ridge.

I found this vet after a different vet miss diagnosed my dogs broken leg. The staff is kind and treat you like family. I had to put my dog down and River Ridge took good care of us.

This was the only place we could get a same day appointment. I called and although the receptionist was very kind, they didn’t end up being as great as I had hoped.
They said they could squeeze us in at 10am. And I totally expected to have to wait a little while, since they really just made room for us at the last minute. Over an hour later, I finally decide to leave the exam room and ask if we can just come back later because I had to go get my kids from school.
All the folks at the front desk were shocked to discover that the doctor hadn’t seen us yet. As in, they forgot about us.
Finally the doctor comes in and asks us if “this is the cat that got hit by a car.” I was shocked, as I had not once even given any sort of hint that something like that could have happened. After a 5 minute exam, he says that our cats paws are infected and gives us an ointment for them. I come to find out from another vet later on (because I wasn’t feeling super confident since he rushed through our cat’s exam) that the ointment prescribed didn’t even have any antibiotic properties to it. So it was essentially pointless. But I paid $25 for a tiny tube.
Anyway. Point of the story. Friendly staff, but the doctors don’t get my vote of confidence. Their organization skills and booking could use some work as well.
I won’t be returning.

Just a single call and had a receptionist name Jeff blow me off and I was incredibly rude, saying he doesn't have any time to answer a question, instead of answering yes or no to the question of whether or not they are Level 2 certified. Just said he won't accept me as a client, and only said that after I asked about their certifications. Not a good way to build a business and make a good impression on the community. You're saving animal lives, not making burgers waiting for your lunch break.... act like it.

This is one of the best Vet offices in the West Valley! They are so kind and they have always treated my dog and my family with compassion. My dog was diagnosed with Valley Fever and they were quick with the diagnosis and treatment. River Ridge was the only office to do a proper diagnosis and they are the only office my dog feels no anixiety going to. We have been with them for a few years now and I don't plan on going anywhere else. Thank you!

I have been to so many vets, but this place impressed us on our first visit. The vets in the past we went to were never able to clip our dog's nails and always complained or wanted to charge extra to try different ways to clip his nails. When my husband went in today they checked him out, gave him all his shots and clipped his nails. Really appreciate them and love how friendly they were. I can't say enough good about the staff and Dr Roy. My beautiful boy KiMA would not be alive today if it was not for the fast thinking and skillful hands and the way they worked as a team to save him. I have been to several other Vets and although they are skilled in what they do, I have never met any that have such compassion and love that is shown towards each oet the comes through that door. Made an appointment for saturday at 230.
At 335 i walked out because the Vet still hadn't seen us yet.
Once youre summoned into one of the three little rooms they have back there, i could hear chatter amongst the staff, laughing, and generally enjoying a not so busy saturday afternoon. which is cool, i understand, im not someone who likes to rush things, so after 1 full hour if waiting, and no one communicating anything to us, I left our tiny cell, and asked when my Pupparino (St Bernard) Benny would would finally be seen by the vet. I was informed, very dryly, that the vet would be with us soon, and they were dealing "emergencies." There was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too much laughter coming out of the back of the place for me to even remotely believe that.
Call me out on this review! feel free to ask questions,.
Im sure they give good care, but they don't care about your business, or experience there,
PS. Enjoy cleaning up the ocean of drool in your waiting room.

Hands down the BEST vet in Arizona. Dr Roy is so incredibly wonderful with both our dog and us. He never pushes unnecessary treatments and truly does what is best for the animal - which is SO rare. His staff remembered our dog and his problems with cancer after only having seen him twice 4 years ago, and was able to give us the best news we could have hoped for in our situation. Everyone there is willing to offer advice and comfort, everyone there is so incredibly kind and empathic, and we absolutely LOVE this place. It's worth the 45 minute drive, every single time. This is the best vet hospital in Buckeye. They are so caring and compassionate. We have been taking our animals here for about 8 years and recommend them to everyone. We have had 2 dogs that were in pretty bad shape and Jennifer, Jeff and Dr Roy did everything they could to help them. In the end, we had to let them die with dignity. I would not take my animals anywhere else.

Amazing vet, and I've been to many. Dr. Roy is knowledgeable and the animals love him. All of the staff is prompt and caring. Just because an establishment is full and cannot take new patients, doesn't mean they deserve a low review. It simply means they are a great vet and very busy. Being a private owner gives him the right. I'm thankful I was a patient before they sadly had to start saying no. Glad their are many other options for those needing help in our area!

My precious KiMA would not be alive if it were not for this man and his staff. In one week , after extreme monitoring and lots of medical attention, JACK was COMPLETELY healed...This included daily hospitalization, IV's and all the meds he needed. This did not break my pocket either--the prices were fantastic and the staff there are so nice and treat the animals as if they are their own. To me, this is the BEST ANIMAL VET HOSPITAL there is in ARIZONA. Recently I had to move out of state but today 8/2008 I returned to AZ for a short visit, bringing my babies for a vet check up. I cannot consider going anywhere else....if you do NOT choose River Ridge--you are risking your animals life....Trust me--go to them and you will be pleased with everything they do for you and for your pet. If you far away, please know that the drive will be the worth it. ***I'd like to add something to this: My female Pug SALLY got pregnant by our JACK IN 12/08. This was a pure accident because I still wasn't able to find a trusted Vet when I moved out of state. So, through out SALLY'S pregnancy, I called RIVERRIDGE w/ any questions and Jennifer (Manager) even helped me deliver our little precious puppies successfully over the phone (over 300 miles away).IF AFFORDABLE PRICES, LOVING AND TRUSTWORTHY STAFF, IS WHAT YOU ARE LOOKING FOR, GO TO RIVERRIDGE VET FOR ALL OF YOUR ANIMAL NEEDS. .........***DON'T FORGET TO TELL JENNIFER THAT "JACK & SALLY'S" MOTHER SAYS HELLO!!!!!!!!!!!!

WAKE UP PEOPLE, Dr Roy sold the business name and all your files, not one person from the Buckeye location work at the new location. Worst of all they still have his photo and info as the veterinarian, he no longer pet practicing. The new vet has nothing about herself posted. Don’t even know if your seeing a legitimate vet. Very deceitful on Dr Roy’s part and the new vet. He should have let his patients know what he was doing, but I guess it wouldn’t have been worth the money he got. Go on any other vet sight and you get a bio of all the veterinarians, not on River Ridge.

I found this vet after a different vet miss diagnosed my dogs broken leg. The staff is kind and treat you like family. I had to put my dog down and River Ridge took good care of us.

This was the only place we could get a same day appointment. I called and although the receptionist was very kind, they didn’t end up being as great as I had hoped.
They said they could squeeze us in at 10am. And I totally expected to have to wait a little while, since they really just made room for us at the last minute. Over an hour later, I finally decide to leave the exam room and ask if we can just come back later because I had to go get my kids from school.
All the folks at the front desk were shocked to discover that the doctor hadn’t seen us yet. As in, they forgot about us.
Finally the doctor comes in and asks us if “this is the cat that got hit by a car.” I was shocked, as I had not once even given any sort of hint that something like that could have happened. After a 5 minute exam, he says that our cats paws are infected and gives us an ointment for them. I come to find out from another vet later on (because I wasn’t feeling super confident since he rushed through our cat’s exam) that the ointment prescribed didn’t even have any antibiotic properties to it. So it was essentially pointless. But I paid $25 for a tiny tube.
Anyway. Point of the story. Friendly staff, but the doctors don’t get my vote of confidence. Their organization skills and booking could use some work as well.
I won’t be returning.

Just a single call and had a receptionist name Jeff blow me off and I was incredibly rude, saying he doesn't have any time to answer a question, instead of answering yes or no to the question of whether or not they are Level 2 certified. Just said he won't accept me as a client, and only said that after I asked about their certifications. Not a good way to build a business and make a good impression on the community. You're saving animal lives, not making burgers waiting for your lunch break.... act like it.

This is one of the best Vet offices in the West Valley! They are so kind and they have always treated my dog and my family with compassion. My dog was diagnosed with Valley Fever and they were quick with the diagnosis and treatment. River Ridge was the only office to do a proper diagnosis and they are the only office my dog feels no anixiety going to. We have been with them for a few years now and I don't plan on going anywhere else. Thank you!

I have been to so many vets, but this place impressed us on our first visit. The vets in the past we went to were never able to clip our dog's nails and always complained or wanted to charge extra to try different ways to clip his nails. When my husband went in today they checked him out, gave him all his shots and clipped his nails. Really appreciate them and love how friendly they were. I can't say enough good about the staff and Dr Roy. My beautiful boy KiMA would not be alive today if it was not for the fast thinking and skillful hands and the way they worked as a team to save him. I have been to several other Vets and although they are skilled in what they do, I have never met any that have such compassion and love that is shown towards each oet the comes through that door. Made an appointment for saturday at 230.
At 335 i walked out because the Vet still hadn't seen us yet.
Once youre summoned into one of the three little rooms they have back there, i could hear chatter amongst the staff, laughing, and generally enjoying a not so busy saturday afternoon. which is cool, i understand, im not someone who likes to rush things, so after 1 full hour if waiting, and no one communicating anything to us, I left our tiny cell, and asked when my Pupparino (St Bernard) Benny would would finally be seen by the vet. I was informed, very dryly, that the vet would be with us soon, and they were dealing "emergencies." There was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too much laughter coming out of the back of the place for me to even remotely believe that.
Call me out on this review! feel free to ask questions,.
Im sure they give good care, but they don't care about your business, or experience there,
PS. Enjoy cleaning up the ocean of drool in your waiting room.

Hands down the BEST vet in Arizona. Dr Roy is so incredibly wonderful with both our dog and us. He never pushes unnecessary treatments and truly does what is best for the animal - which is SO rare. His staff remembered our dog and his problems with cancer after only having seen him twice 4 years ago, and was able to give us the best news we could have hoped for in our situation. Everyone there is willing to offer advice and comfort, everyone there is so incredibly kind and empathic, and we absolutely LOVE this place. It's worth the 45 minute drive, every single time. This is the best vet hospital in Buckeye. They are so caring and compassionate. We have been taking our animals here for about 8 years and recommend them to everyone. We have had 2 dogs that were in pretty bad shape and Jennifer, Jeff and Dr Roy did everything they could to help them. In the end, we had to let them die with dignity. I would not take my animals anywhere else.

Amazing vet, and I've been to many. Dr. Roy is knowledgeable and the animals love him. All of the staff is prompt and caring. Just because an establishment is full and cannot take new patients, doesn't mean they deserve a low review. It simply means they are a great vet and very busy. Being a private owner gives him the right. I'm thankful I was a patient before they sadly had to start saying no. Glad their are many other options for those needing help in our area!

My precious KiMA would not be alive if it were not for this man and his staff. When it was time for my old girl Izzy to cross over he showed her and us that he was not afraid to give her a kiss and hug before she went to sleep. We are new to the area & our Golden Retriever needed more meds and a vaccination. The receptionist was warm and friendly. Dr. Roy was very genuine and professional. He spent time with us...didn't feel rushed. He made suggestions on the course of treatment for our elderly dog. Dr. Roy said he would call me later in the day with lab results and he did what he promised. It's reassuring to know that we now have a vet that we can depend on. In May 2008' My Pug puppy JACK got Parvo. I went to this vet because I knew how well they had taken care of SALLY ( my other pug). In one week , after extreme monitoring and lots of medical attention, JACK was COMPLETELY healed...This included daily hospitalization, IV's and all the meds he needed. This did not break my pocket either--the prices were fantastic and the staff there are so nice and treat the animals as if they are their own. To me, this is the BEST ANIMAL VET HOSPITAL there is in ARIZONA. Recently I had to move out of state but today 8/2008 I returned to AZ for a short visit, bringing my babies for a vet check up. I cannot consider going anywhere else....if you do NOT choose River Ridge--you are risking your animals life....Trust me--go to them and you will be pleased with everything they do for you and for your pet. If you far away, please know that the drive will be the worth it. ***I'd like to add something to this: My female Pug SALLY got pregnant by our JACK IN 12/08. This was a pure accident because I still wasn't able to find a trusted Vet when I moved out of state.
