Can you give these guys/gals 6 stars!!! You know it's one thing when you can go to a place and they just act professional...its a while other when your vet has passion. How many people can say they do there first exam with the dog sitting on the ground petting, rubbing, playing with the dog as if it was there own. We feel like family from the moment we walked in. I have always found the doctors and techs at this clinic to be straight shooters, yet professional.  My dogs have been treated by different doctors on almost every visit, and I have felt the same warmth and friendliness from all of the staff.  Their rates for after hours or emergency office visits are very reasonable as well.  Check them out if you live in Cave Creek and surrounding areas. Vet at this location wasn't competent , couldn't help my beautiful German Shepherd. Only care about the money; charged me over 2000 dollar to put her to sleep. I miss her every day. AHS saved my dog's life! I brought my dog, Jax, to AHS as the last resort after an extensive cancer surgery elsewhere that was less than successful. In short, after meeting with Rob, he took charge of my dog's treatment. I now have Jax home and recovering, something I didn't expect. The staff was outstanding and caring as if Jax was their own. My Cat was treated here 3 years ago for climbing up a cactus, he was treated very well and I felt at home here. I decided to take in what now has become my second child a 2 year old pit bull- dalmatian and she has a love for the outdoors, I took her to Animal Health about four months ago for a UTI that has reoccured every month and multiple visits which nothing was done besides prescribe antibiotics which never seemed to work. During her UTI's I also noticed a limp in her step and favoring one leg over the other, I took her in again and spent a large amount of money to find out that my dog was MISDIAGNOSED with Arthritis. Unfortunately she was not getting any better and I took her into another doctor that treated her with so much love and care. I found out that she not only had a serve kidney infection due to untreated UTI and wrong antibiotics, to then get blood work back that my dog has had Valley Fever untreated for almost three months. I will never go back here for regular care of my animals. I am truly upset that with the money I spent they should have treated in a different manner to find out what really was going on with her. I had my 6 month old Miniature Schnauzer spayed today! This will be the 2nd pet I have had sterilization procedures completed at this facility and both times I have been very impressed! They staff is always friendly, attentive, and compassionate! They really do care for you pets well being and not the money in you're pocket! I will recommend you to anyone! My cat wasn't breathing too well so I brought him in. The doctor and nurse were very gentle with him. A radiograph was done and within an hour the doctor told me the news. He had to be put down. The doctor and the nurse were very courteous and made the process as painless as possible for both my cat and me. I would highly recommend this place. Read Less

This animal hospital and their staff is phenomenal! I love that they are 24/7. My first experience was with my bunny who got attacked by two dogs that I was pet sitting. I frantically called every pet hospital (after hours) and no one would accept her because she was an "exotic" animal. Thankfully Animal Health Services accepted her and fixed her up. My second visit was last night with my Lab to get her nails trimmed. She had a traumatizing visit at a groomers one time and since then is very aggressive to get her nails trimmed. So I was a little nervous to bring her in but Raina and Kate did an amazing job with her! I could tell she felt very comfortable with them. My step sons black lab was hit by a car last night. We raced him to Animal Health Services. I called on the way and the vet tech and veterinarian met us in the parking lot with a gurney. The service was above and beyond and the friendliness and compassion was wonderful. We were unable to save him but they were quick to see he was comfortable and determine a diagnosis. We have used AHS for several years for our dogs and they are no doubt the best! Read Less

We are so glad these folks are here 24/7. We brought our sick 6 month old Irish Wolfhound in after hours. We have taken our puppy here for a few different issues and the vets and vet techs have always been great at explaining what's going on and giving us multiple pricing options and letting us know which one is recommended (and no, it's not always the more expensive option.) Is it a little expensive? Yes, but so is the emergency room. And I would rather not bargain shop for my puppies health. Read Less

Dr. CB, Dr. DD and business manager are the geniuses to chalk up, 'tear', 'hole', 'crack', or 'dent', that Dr. CB made with catheter, was the complication of the urinary stone. My cat was hospitalized here to have urinary stone surgery. 1. Dr. CB failed catheter and made a 'tear (hole) in the abdomen' while doing her job and caused extended stay in this hospital. 'Tear in the abdomen' was used by D. CB on the phone to me. 2. Dr. DD replaced Dr. CB's failure with 'complication' and helped destroying the evidence (x-Ray Images) which would reveal Dr. CB's responsibility, though Dr. DD admitted in her e-mail that Dr. CB failed. 3. Business Manager JRG determined to pass the buck to the patient and to collect extended stay from the patient. Question: Why this hospital concealed or destroyed the X-Ray images in question? 'X-Ray image that drove Dr. CB panic'. If the assertion 'complication' made by the hospital is right they could disclose the X-Ray images. It's a shame to see someone's lack of integrity. They tried to charge extra amount of over $100 to take blood sample of my cat under the cloak of cat's aggressiveness when I took him again to the hospital to have his blood tested for kidney disorder. Great service! I usually try to get an appointment with Dr. Wyman. She is a great vet and a hottie, she just seems to be a normal everyday person with high energy. Every-time I bring my two rotts in for problems, javelinas attacks, fighting each other, and old age problems it seems the problems are resolved quickly, I'm happy, my dogs are happy, we are all happy. Our sweet adorable Bella kitty was adopted from a foster care home. She was a rescue kitty. She was found covered in cactus spines and other debris. She has beautiful long fur and luminous sky blue eyes. She's the ever loving, precious addition to our household. She was about 2 years old when she was rescued. She turned out to be a Seal Point Ragdoll! We noticed that something was wrong with her breath. We took her to ASH to check it out. Turns out she had infected gums and needed six teeth to be removed. It was explained to me by AHS, that this was probably the result of Bella being neglected from birth and not getting enough nutrition over the years, scavenging for food here and there to keep alive. Dr. Prevatt saved her life. Bella is scheduled for another cleaning in a few days. Dr. Prevatt called us to assure us that great care will be taken with the follow up visit.
