1st come 1st served!?. Waited 1/2hour on line b4 office open signed in with others in order we came thru door. Waited for my turn several customers who signed in after me were seen b4 me. . I ask why was I beinging skip over no explanation. Then a tech came out into the lobby look at my dogs broken nail then told me they could not treat this here because they did not have the proper equipment. So I waited over 2 1/2 hours to be sent away with that excuse. FRUSTRATED 😞 IS A NICE F-WORD TO USE TO EXPRESS HOW I WAS TREATED AS A CUSTOMER AND HOW MY DOG WAS TREATED AS A PATIENT. I took my senior Jack Russell's to have their teeth cleaned today and could not be happier with the service and staff. I could tell Dr.Koehn and her staff really love animals and they took excellent care of my very nervous pups. I couldn't be more pleased with all of the staff at the clinic, including Dr.Koehn! You can tell each person really loves critters. After calling around to other clinics, I was in despair of ever being able to afford getting my six year old dog Bella's teeth cleaned. I noticed some of the reviews gave 1 star because they didn't like how the front desk was run.  Well, for my experience they were fine, the doctor was amazing, and I saved almost $500 over what another vet wanted to charge to Neuter my cat and give him a couple shots (plus I had him chipped.)  For that kind of savings I'd be fine if they hired the ghost of Don Rickles hover around insulting me while I'm in the waiting room.  I saved a ton and the doc rocks, but I guess if you're looking for a spa type experience where they serve you complimentary  bottled water in the waiting room while listening to the soothing sounds of Yanni, then go ahead and pay way more elsewhere. Here's the thing... Dr. Koehn was amazing and this is the best place to go in the valley for a dog dental BUT the front office staff is horrible. I just went in to get copies of records and to also get a copy of blood work that was done on my dog, since I never received the blood work in the first place. I have one of the papers to prove that I was there and what I was charged for but I didn't bring it because on the phone they said they would find it. The office staff argued with me and basically called me a liar because they could not find ANY record of my dog's visit or the blood work that was done. They told me multiple times that I must be in the wrong location and it had to have been done somewhere else. Instead of claiming their mistake they tried to push it on me. They told me there was not even a record of the blood work in the email so it was never sent in but yet I was charged for it.Then they told me to go home, get the paper I had and then maybe they would be able to find it. I love this place! I brought my puppy here to get neutered. The morning staff was great! My puppy was being difficult but they treated him just like I do. Very caring and gentle. The entire time i could see into the back room, which i appreciated. I liked that i could see how the other animals were treated once their owners were gone. Always a concern of mine. I saw them petting the animals and talking to them. You can tell they actually love animals. Be prepared for a bit of a wait but i was told ahead of time, first come first serve. And I know from experience that is to be expected when the service is great and the prices are the cheapest around.Read Less

We recently had our puppy spayed from a referral from a few friends of mine. As a first time puppy parent, it was so nerve wrecking and we could not get the nervousness out about having our puppy spayed. It is first come first serve, we were second. We were so jittery until we met Dr. Khoen. She was the most friendliest, sweetest and knowledgeable. She even knew our Breeder! Being apprehensive bringing my new puppy in to be neutered and microchipped. Dr. Koehn and staff was fantastic! The wait in the morning was a bit long (time spent there from the time I came in until I left in morning was an hour and 20 minutes) However, it is basically first come first serve during a specified time frame.We were a first time patient, so we were brought back to meet the doctor. The tech who took his vitals was so super friendly and made sure my questions/concerns were answered. The doctor came in and verify the vitals, listened to lungs and gave a brief exam to make sure my little guy was in good condition for the procedure. She was very compassionate and made me feel comfortable and confident about leaving my little guy in great hands. I got call around 3pm that all went well and I could pick up at anytime. When I arrived, I was given information about procedure and very thorough aftercare instructions.If I have to state a negative, the mopping solution used at the end of day (around 4:45pm) to clean floor is VERY strong. I understand why but it would have been  nice not to have my eyes stinging and breathing in the bleach floor solution for ten minutes awhile waiting to leave. Doesn't seem right to do around animals and/or customers.Overall, I was very impressed with the friendliness and professionalism of the staff.  I would recommend this Spay & Neuter clinic to anyone. Took my puppy in yesterday to be spayed.  Got there a bit before 7a.m. Only 5 people in front of me. I was a little nervous every as to how long of a wait but it was fast.  Filled out my paperwork, and called back within 10 minutes.  DR. Sarah is super nice and reassured me they'd take care of Dottie.  I picked her up before 4.  Total cost of spaying, microchipped and 3 days of pain meds was $121.00.  My vet wanted between $400-500 just for spaying.....yes $400-500.  If I could give 10 stars I would.  They called today to see how Dottie was doing.  I'm telling you she's doing great.  Hard to keep her from not running around. I took my kitten here who was 7 almost 8 months last year and just now found the Facebook page to write a review. First I was told over the phone if we got to the clinic when it first opened we wouldn't wait long- wrong we waited 2 hours to be seen. Once we finally got seen they kept telling me I was going to have to pay extra because they felt babies in my cats stomach- I told them many times it wasn't possible since I've had her since she was 8 weeks old and has never been outside or in contact with a male cat. When I finally was able to pick her up they kept trying to pressure me into buying a cone at that very moment. My cat has been to her vet many times after getting spayed, I regret taking her to a clinic especially after the customer service issues I had. Read Less

I spent 35 minutes on Tuesday 10/31 trying to get an actual human being on the phone at the facility to no avail.  Either the phone was busy (busy signal) or the phone rang forever and was not answered nor went to a voice mail message system with an option of a "call back".Wednesday 11/1 I did get someone in the back office area to answer after 11 minutes of the phone ringing (they answered a few basic questions about pricing) -- and then was transferred to the front desk to try and schedule an appointment.  Ten minutes later of waiting, I hung up with yet again no response.  Tried calling back 15 minutes later and for the next hour got a busy signal when I tried calling via numerous attempts.  Finally got someone who answered within 4 rings but then put me on hold immediately.  12 minutes later I hung up with no response again.  I give up.  If someone would have asked to take my number and call back to schedule an appointment... but apparently not an option?I don't care how great the medical facility is -- either there are problems with the phone system or there is no staff in the facility or somebody is not doing their job. Dr.Koehn did an excellent job with neutering my 5 month old pup. She and her staff made him feel comfortable with lots of cuddles and pets while they debriefed us on the procedure and what to expect and do after his surgery. I had such anxiety over taking my dog to get spayed...I cried when dropping my Maltipoo off. The staff and vet were super nice in talking me through the procedure and loving on my scared dog. My husband had to do the waiting for the spay dropoff and return for boosters, but I can say that i was so happy with results. Two years ago we thought the deal at PetSmart that included spay would be good. We spent hundreds of dollars extra at the emergency vet when her incision reopened. So much suffering. That cat is still afraid of anything that sniffs of going to the vet. This year our new kitten recovered so quickly, like nothing happened! She didn't mind going back for her boosters. Read Less

This place is awesome. They're kind, the prices are amazing, they're wonderful. Took 3 cats in last week, and a vet gave them each a check over before spay/neuter. The 3rd cat came to me a malnourished mess, and im holding onto him for someone. The vet checks him over, realizes he has a uti, and gave me a rx for him, said if this clears it up, bring him back to be neutered in a week. All I paid for that was the only 15ish for the antibiotics. No charge for looking at him diagnosing the problem and prescribing meds. Unreal. Took 3rd cat back to be neutered the next Friday because that kind vet fixed his issue. I got him back washed and without mats in his fur, and they didn't even mention doing it. Seriously? I could've honestly cried. That is absolute kindness. Also, that day I got a cat neutered and my dog microchipped. How much did I pay? About 80 bucks. You just can't beat that. Read Less

I brought my puppy in today to get neutered and we had no problem in the waiting room.When it was time to go back he had to be carried and didn't want to go.Once back there he barked  at the veterinary assistant and started growling at the other dogs, she advised me to get him  socialization training, and gave me a pamphlet I appreciated the advice.Yet while we were standing there she continually called him "naughty"and said "he's to young to be so naughty" and wasn't helpful as I tried to comfort my dog.Dr Harris came over didn't greet myself or my puppy she just reached out to touch him and he barked at her once loudly and growled .She winced and just looked like she was done with him,  said "did we know he was like this" the tech replied " he was fine before" the doctor then said "we are putting a muzzle on you". Dr.Harris didn't speak directly to me at all during this checkup.The vet assistant stepped in to turn his attention away from her and muzzled him. I'm all for safety and precautions but I would've liked more communication.After this Dr. Harris looked down at her  information and she said " You're getting fixed haha!" . Completely unprofessional. I took this as well you're being difficult and you're getting neutered which sucks so haha. I feel like the vet and her assistant could have  made more of an effort in general .Our families pets have come for shots, surgeries, etc no issues before.I will say when I picked him up the two different  assistants that were there were so kind and helpful. The prices are reasonable and they took good care of my pup. My only complaint is the cleanliness of the place. There was dog hair everywhere in the lobby, along the floorboards, collected in the corners and on the chairs. There were mosquitos flying around inside. I got bit by one and smacked it on my leg and blood went everywhere! Ewwww:( There were others flying around the lobby. Also the smell was very overpowering, they need some kind of fan or air circulation  in the lobby to help with the smell of animals. Never saw the Dr. so I can't comment on my interaction with her.  However, I have to agree with some of the previous posters that the office staff is not very friendly.  Furthermore, the tech who saw my cat could have had a more winning personality.  In fact, he acted like he hated cats!  He kept trying to tell me the cat we found was feral because his ear was clipped--however this cat is extremely friendly with us which I explained to the tech--but he really wasn't listening.  (not all cats who have their ears clipped are feral--some can be strays)   They get 2 stars because of their affordable prices, but other than that, the office staff and techs need to get attitude adjustments before I can recommend.Update: So glad we didn't listen to these guys. To me It is worth the wait and if I have to take it on the chin from someone how has had to listen to a bunch of people that think they should always come first so be it. This clinic was awesome from the moment I called to schedule an appointment to when we came to pick up our puppy after surgery. They were very informative, I knew what to expect. Dropped our dog off between 7-9am on Friday and picked her up at 3:30pm that day. The vet checked her out before we took her home. She was spayed and micro chipped. She was a little loopy from anesthesia the day of. We were given 3 pain pills to give her for 3 days post surgery. The vet also used glue on the outside of her incision (and dissolveable stitches on the inside I believe) which was awesome because she never even tried to lick the area - we didn't even have to use the cone collar. The pricing was very affordable too!! We paid $130 for spay and micro chip (our dog is 12lbs). The best part was we got a courtesy call 3 days after surgery asking how she was doing. VERY impressed and is reccommend this clinic to everyone! Read Less

Fantastic price, exact same quality as if you were to take your animal to the local clinics around the area. I am very pleased with having my cat spayed, Dr. Koehn is wonderful. I would definitely recommend this clinic to anyone needing a spay or neuter who are unable to afford the outrageous pricing by local vets. The quality that is received is just as if I were to fork over the 375 that I was quoted at Banfield or the 550 for Oasis. The first come first served basis wasn't too bad, yes I had an appointment that day, however I was told drop off was between 7-9 so I wasn't at all surprised when I had to wait. Another plus was the after care, many other clinics wanted to give me pain medication to go home with. Wait was long which was expected. Seemed very caring and efficient despite a full waiting room. However, front receptionist, Raven, is not professional or polite. She has very little patience with people in general. While I had no encounters with her, waiting for an hour and a half gave me plenty of time to watch and listen to her with other people. I chose this clinic based on the great reviews that I saw here. I actually live closer to the Spay Neuter Clinic in Gilbert but since this one had many more favorable reviews I decided to choose this one. I took my 5 year old very healthy dog in on Monday to get her spayed and on first impression I had no concerns: the facility was clean and the staff seemed friendly. She was in and out that day and she seemed to be recovering fine but a few days later she took a turn for the worse and has now been unwilling to move, unwilling to eat or drink, and her abdomen is really swollen. I called the clinic to ask them what I should do and if I should be concerned and the lady who answered the phone told me in a very rude and condescending tone "well, I would be concerned if it was my dog." like I was stupid for asking such a question. I asked if I could bring her in so the vet could take a look at her and she told me that "there's nothing they can do for her." and told me to see a full veterinary facility instead. I'm beyond frustrated and concerned for my dog. When I made an appointment at my local vet the receptionist told me that she had just received a phone call from someone else who had their dog neutered the same day at the same clinic and was also having complications. Was on a budget and couldn't afford the $300+ my vet offered to spay my Dachshund puppy, because of other medical bills. My puppy already had one heat, so we were in a rush to get her fixed. So I heard about this place.We called ahead, made an appointment. I had no idea what to expect.I arrived about 15 min before opening, and there was about 10 people already waiting outside the building.Once they opened, we all signed in and got called back in order. I got called about an hour and a half after waiting.The room was really busy, and was only thing about the place I didn't like lol.Once we got called back, they checked out my puppy and got to know her. The vet was really nice and I was assured she would be taken care of.After we picked her up at about 3pm, my puppy basically went home and slept all day.By day 2 she already wanted to run and play.Day 3, you couldn't even tell that she had surgery!I would recommend this place to people on a budget, thank you ! I loved the vet, she was great and my dog felt very comfortable with her once we got in to go see her.  What keeps me from giving it the full 5 stars was the front office staff.  When I called to make an appointment, I wish she would have explained to me that there would be a long wait.  Ask I was asked for my dog and my nameand was told drop off was between 7-9 am.  That's it.Here is what happens, you show up,  you fill out paperwork and then you sit and wait.  Our turn took about an hour and a half.But, like I stated earlier, the vet was great. I've had great experiences here. I took my Schnauzer here to get neutered and have taken my puppy there to get all of her shots and have an appointment to get her spayed. The vet is great, very sweet and respectful to my dogs and me. They offered extra services like teeth cleaning and nail filing while they were under but I never felt pressured or felt like "if you really cared for your pet you would do this".The down side is they are a clinic which means there is a wait but if you know that before hand its fine. This clinic does not care about the welfare of the animal, only about getting your money in anyway possible. They are very unprofessional and not afraid to lie to your face.They administered a vaccine without the pet owners permission, the pet has a history of allergies to the vaccine. And the pet was sent home with medication that was not approved and they will not refund the money.We took our dog their with a voucher from the county because we could not afford the sterilization and left with a $100 vet bill and a sick dog.
