After some research, we chose to take our 4 dogs to Dr. Tobe at Fountain Hills Vet Hospital. We have 2 retired greyhounds and Dr. Tobe is very knowledgeable about the breed. One of them was a new rescue from a track in Alabama and was very sick when we got him in October. He looks and feels amazing now and it is due to Dr. Tobe's knowledge, care and treatment. Our older greyhound needed her teeth cleaned, which is a tricky surgery for greyhounds, but she came through just fine. VERY IMPORTANT TO NOTE is that Dr. Tobe is present during dental surgeries, it isn't done by the vet techs with no supervision like some other clinics/hospitals. We had an emergency issue with one of our smaller dogs and were able to get in right away. Dr. Tobe spent all the time necessary to help our little guy and save his eye. Adding to my comfort level is that my significant other is a cardiologist, and he respects and trusts Dr. Tobe. Read Less

Have always liked, trusted and respected Dr Tobe a great deal as a vet; he takes his time and truly cares about the critters. However, unbeknownst to them, they have made my wish to have a holistic vet in town come true. Dr Jodie is an excellent holistic vet, am beyond thrilled that they have made her part of the team. For those who have little to no experience in holistic medicine please keep an open mind. The approach is quite different from traditional vet practices; from my perspective it’s common sense in that it’s based on how true health and healing come about. The body is a healing machine, the ultimate pharmacy if given ingredients as nature intended. These ingredients are found in real foods as well as in herbs and supplements. Of course at times chemicals are needed, but it’s good to have a holistic vet like Dr Jodie who knows how to use them with discernment when holistic methods alone are not enough. That’s having the best of two worlds coming together to help your critter crew! The overwhelming majority of pet food, including many of the higher ends, tend to break the body down whereas real food builds the body up; Dr Jodie can help you get a better understanding of what makes up an ideal diet. My furry, loved one, Sebastian, was boarded here 1x due to an unexpected death in the family, but I left that day with being impressed with their professionalism, logistics/program, and genuine care for ALL animals most importantly.Sea Biscuit had his yearly shots this past Monday as well as physical exam. He was giving me attitude and general dislike for most of the time. We were seen right away and his nails needed a cut first off. He was spewing venom and fire like a dragon the entire 4 minutes. But... the tech completed her dangerous mission. NOTE: it took a 2nd tech to firmly "scruffle" my cat's neck to chill for a NY minute. His exam went well, Dr Tobe came in and performed the entire physical. For an 11-year old, kitty is in great shape. Could stand to lose 1-2 lbs but that's mommy's behaviors not the cat's. I asked for anything to help my feline's dry skin. Dr Tobe recommended Omega 3 fish oil Rx on a daily basis. I started this on Monday and ninja cat digs the exquisite oil dumped on his food now. Dr Tobe was funny, informative, and listed/answered all of my questions. Very happy w/him!I was also given a free sample of a dental kibble for cleaning cats' teeth everyday. Nice touch and speaks volumes when stuff like that happens... Plus, Sea-bassy inhales every kernel, natch ;)We're here to stay - thanks to the entire clinic! Read Less

Casey falsified an adoption application saying she owns her home. She lives with her parents and was forbidden to bring in a kitten but did so anyway. She brought the kitten to work since she wasn't allowed to leave it home; and she refused to cooperate with returning the kitten and lied about the terms under which she got it. She found a potential adopter and received permission to place it and have the legitimate adopter submit paperwork. She is the granddaughter of one of five caregivers for a lady who died recently. We waived the adoption fee as a gift to a 93 year old lady; but Casey lied about being told she could find a home for the kitten and avoid any Rehoming fees. We Trust that the kitten is in good hands and will never forget the lies and rude conduct of Casey. She is not allowed to adopt and I would never trust her with any animal; but her employer is unaware until now. Just a reminder that we cannot trust everyone in the caregiver industry, be it Animal or human. Don't trust Casey. Read Less

Wonderful experience. We were fitted in immediately after one of dogs suffered an injury. The staff and Dr Tobe were great, putting the dog at ease and examining him, he was very comfortable with them. He was examined and prescribed some meds to aid his recovery and we even received a follow up phone call two days later to check his condition. I would highly recommentd this Vet Clinic, Dr Tobe and his staff. Travelling from Canada we were concerned about the cost but found the billing and medical costs were very reasonable. Instead you come across petty and overly opinionated,attempting to bicker over whether my complaint was satisfactory to you or not. The truth is I have had one terrible experience with a Vet in Fountain Hills already(which i wrote about as well on google), and after that, I called this place and was on hold for over 15mins. Now sure there could be a variety of reasons why I was on hold for so long, and hence my wording in my review. We LOVE Dr. Crowe and all the staff there. We use the boarding facilities as well and it's the best. This is definitely the best veterinary clinic in town. Hands down. Dr. Crowe works hard to make our animals feel calm and loved. I can proudly say my animals love coming to see her. Thank you for all you guys do over there! Also, I want to say it's kind of silly to leave a review for a place you've never been to and called once. Being on hold for "too long" is not a reason to give a place a poor review...and every time I've called any veterinarian actually they ask if it's an emergency or if I can hold. So if you were on hold it must not have been an emergency...Maybe if you were on hold for so long and then you made the appointment and came in and didn't like the place THEN I would understand a bad review. But come on did you not learn any patience growing up? You say you were unable to rate them yet you still rated them Joe. You're a funny guy! Read Less

This place is fantastic.  We have had occasion to use Dr. Crowe and her staff and everytime impressed.  They are kind thorough and honest when evaluating our Mini Schnauzer's needs.  Their expertise is not just for regular physicals or shots but also in crisis situations which we had last Easter.  Dr. Crowe immediately diagnoised the problem and our dog's life was saved!!!!   They also supply all the vet approved food and treats we need to keep our dog healthy and in good health.  One of the best judges of her and her staff is Buddy loves to go there.Linda from Fountain Hills.
