I have been bringing our pets here for a while, but when I went to order flea & tic protection like normal, and Heart worm protection, They held it for ransom unless we did another exam, which is costly including 6 months of protection medication. I have been bringing my pups here for many years. Dr. Johnson is awesome. She is easy going, thorough and does not over -test or treat. She spent a lot of time consulting with my other vet out of state when my dog got Valley Fever. Vicki in the front office is great and always makes my pup feel at ease. When we moved here from Illinois we were anxious to find a good that that could help us with our cocker spaniel and his allergies. We were lucky enough to find Dr. Hessian. She has been wonderful in helping him. We now board him there. He loves to go there and when we go out of town we can be sure he is taken care of and will be safe when we return home. Read Less

We have been customers / patients with this facility for over 15 years. We would not even consider taking our "kids" anywhere else. All 3 veterinarians are excellent and compassionate. The technicians are extremely friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable. Knowing our relationship with all of the veterinarians there, I don't quite understand how the less than pleased reviews could even appear in regards to this clinic but, I imagine there are some people who are just not satisfied no matter what you do. Every procedure is explained in full detail, you are provided with all available options and most importantly, we have been treated as though we were members of the family instead of just clients. Dr. Hessian and all the ladies at Palisades are amazing!!! They are extremely talented and knowledgable. And at the same time they are so nice and genuinly caring. Palisades Veterinary Hospital is amazing! Dr. Deah Hessian and her staff went above and beyond for me. My 3 year old bullmastiff Piggy had to have a leg amputation (bone cancer). Not only did Dr. Hessian come in on her day off to do the surgery, but she went out of her way to continue the care for my Piggy. All of the Doctors and staff are the best! Dr. Hessian, Dr, Diltz and Dr. Johnson are very kind and knowledgeable and treat our pets like they are their own. Very impersonal, oftentimes bordering on rude. Lots of tests ordered, not always confident that they were necessary. Prices very high, with an almost feverish obsession to receive payment before leaving the building -- never an option to be billed for services. Surgery recommended as the only option, non-surgical options rarely, if ever, recommended. Left the practice several years ago and went to Hillside Animal Hospital in Scottsdale and have never looked back. With all the friendly and professional vet clinics available in Fountain Hills and Scottsdale, there is no good reason to patronize this practice. Read Less
